Dylan was very helpful at the counter when we explained our predicament to him and the location generously covered some extra miles for us to solve the issue. There was another gentleman who helped us return the trailer. He was kind, quick, and efficient. Later that evening, we came back to return the truck and a younger gentleman helped out. He was pleasant and demonstrated that same efficiency with the truck return. Definitely great customer service and care was exemplified and executed by the whole staff here. We had ordered a truck at another location but when we arrived they did not have the truck. That has never happened to us. The other location called someone and then told us to go to the 67th & Bell location. This caused us and our moving help a 1.5 hour delay in getting started. Which caused other problems for us. We had to find our own directions but once we arrived at 67th & Bell location they took care of us right away. The staff member apologized and compensated us with extra miles. The truck they gave us was clean inside but not cleaned outside. The windshield was a particular problem because it was dirty and filled with bug spatters hampering our view.Don S.
We were there for two hours after our truck was supposed to be ready. After 45 minutes, we were given the keys and had to search for the truck in the parking lot. Then they had left a lock on the door of the truck. They attempted to cut off the lock but it could not be removed so they asked if WE would call a locksmith to remove the lock from their truck. After another hour of waiting the guy running the front desk came out and removed the lock with the code. Everything was extremely disorganized. We did not get the dolly that was ordered and paid for on the receipt. I understand everywhere is hurting for people right now but no one even apologized or tried to make it right.Jaryd B.

I setup the uhaul reservation as mobile pickup and the keys were suppose to be in lock 5 and a password was provided to unlock the box. When it opened, there was no keys and I had to stand in line for over 15 minutes waiting to speak with someone for the keys. Once I got to the counter I asked about the equipment I rented and they lady stated it was not put in the truck. I then had to wait another 5-10 minutes for her to put the equipment in the truck and bring it up front. As a mobile pickup, this reservation should have been a smooth transaction and instead it took more than 20 extra minutes of my time.Susanne S.

The pick up location was easy to find but it was very busy and there was only one new person working the counter, so it took a long time to get help.Eric W.
The representative was kind. However, my reservation was for a 15ft truck. They couldn't find the 15ft truck that I reserved and since I already traveled there from New Mexico, I had to settle for what they had available, a 10 ft truck. In addition, I was told by customer service if we turned the truck in at least 24 hours prior to the due date and time, I would get refunded the unused days. I turned the truck in around noon on June 5th and it was due in June 7th. This was a disappointing experience.Eric H.

The personnel who checked out the equipment were very nice, but they got involved in social talk with one another and slso joined in the conversation one another were having with the customer. It was busy and the other customers were in a hurry to get their vehicle and get on the road. The Uhaul personnel operated like they had all day - no urgency.James R.

It took the Phoenix store hookup guy 3 tries to find a unit that had all the lights working. Once loaded and underway toward WA state the next day I had to make a relatively short stop which took way more brake pedal pressure than expected. I shrugged it off, but as my trip continued I realized that I hadn't experienced this on past U-haul trailer rentals and suspected the surge brakes weren't working properly. Based on the trouble locating a unit with working lights, I presumed the tow doll brakes weren't functioning properly. I suggest U-Haul institute a policy to check the functionality of returned units to verify safe operability rather than just put it back out on the roadROGER H.

I spoke to two different U-Haul employees in person and on the phone 2 days prior to my rental day and both assured me that the trailer I rented I'll be waiting for me at the agreed time; when I came to pick up the trailer it was not there and I was sent to different location that U-Haul employee said the trailer is waiting for me there. When I arrived at the 2nd location trailer was not there and at that point U-Haul employee said it will be available next day 60 miles away fro this location or I could drive 150 miles today to different location to pick up my rental. Employee at the second location was compassionate for the running around I was getting but the â€œTrafficâ€ scheduling person would not talk to me. 2 hours later â€œTrafficâ€ found the unit I reserved at the different location. As a senior I had scheduled people to help me load the trailer at the time U-Haul originally promised but did NOT deliver - very disappointing the way U-Haul operates these daysHenryk M.

Offer a paper option for the equipment condition verification. My phone could not complete the online form because of memory issues and lack of Wi-Fi in the parking lot. But the courteous staff member assured me that I could take pictures before leaving, so I wasn't worried about being charged for existing damage. I felt confident using the rented vehicle.Robert O.

I filled the gas to the level I received and yet I was charged for 2 gallons. I drive it only 30 miles and I put in 3.5 gallons of gas. Your trucks get 10 mile per gallon so it should have been fine. I failed to take a picture of the meter but I know where it was and I am unhappy you charged me for 2 more gallons.Kerry C.

Very thankful for the storage unit opportunity and safe, clean building with an area in back to "share," that is kept between 65-85 degrees. LARGE storage facility with 2 buildings. An available unit was in the middle of front building on second level, no ramp or elevator - only stairs, front loading entrance (to other side) with no ramp from parking lot to curb, and I have a sprained ankle. Those working in the office were very nice and helpful!! Moving help took longer because of the building challenges. FYI building in front closes and locks for both entrance and exit prior to advertised closing time on Sunday at 5pm (Be done by 430pm and no later than 445pm). Last load had to be pushed around building to back door loading dock, other tenets explained how to enter my code in 2 different places, pushed load through back building to front building, and then unloaded. Parked in back, truck return on side, office in front, and after 2 long days, the extra walking around the building twice was unfortunate. 1st month storage fee waived if U-Haul truck rental, but I forgot to mention it, even though both reservations were made at same time. We set up the rental online with an offer for a free month storage with truck rental. We got there early on a Saturday and had to wait about an hour in a line. The waiting was fine until we got to the counter and the offer was not honored by the company. The person that helped appeared fed up with the issue and immediately called the office manager. According to the manager, corporate only honors the offer on a "business need basis and that location was not honoring the deal." They couldn't call or speak about other locations so the options were to go wait else where for another hour or stick with them. Well, we stayed AND there were no locks either. We opted not to wait in line somewhere else while our stuff was in the car so we had no other choice but to go hunting for the lock to get everything stored. I'm older and needed a ground floor unit, climate controlled! The guy helping me found me one but the manager wouldn't approve it. He would only offer me a not climate controlled unit, which was not an option. I had to cancel the whole move in! Found a unit that met my needs for less money with another vendor! They were very accommodating and really just trying to help you get what you need without trying to scam you or get your money. All are good with the exception of steps going to the storage itself. A ramp would've help alot in this situation. 1hr load took 3hrs for 1person. Everything was perfect but the guy that's in the store is very rude and not helpful. I asked him for help he replied in a rude way and was very very rude in general. If I didn't pay almost $200 I would of gone somewhere else because I'll rather avoid rude customer service. I reserved my unit online but was asking me to upload my home owners insurance since I was doing this from my phone I decided to walk in.. the guy who help me wanted rude but kept telling me I was second on the reservation list. I told how is that possible I have it for today. We kept going back and forth I was getting upset I was asking for a manager when then he realized that he was incorrect and proceeded with the reservation.. he then said I would need to pay for a lock I advised him that it said on internet shows that it was free.. he then said because I walked in had to pay for it..
