Trailer was clean but found a screw in a tire that thankfully did not cause a tire leak. Also trailer lights were finicky and brakes were very sloppy and overly sensitive, one moment I felt ltbe trailer pushing and the next I was getting jerked by the over application of trailer brakes. My only rub is that at every location of yours I have been to, your front desk people seem to be the most unfriendly and unwelcoming people I've ever encountered at any business I've ever been to. Both in-store and mobile was exceptional. Do everything you can to keep this store and the employees that work there. I rented two trucks, 1 Sunday and 1 Monday, and because of the staff it made moving such a breeze. I will be using them again and will recommend to anyone and everyone. Staff was great, and very helpful. NEW storage units were in good shape, but older units need maintenance. We had a roof leak in ours that thankfully did not impact our items being stored. Outside of that, interior of unit was clean. The truck i rented was in need of repairs. When you would turn on running lights all the panel lights would go out. When driving down the road if you hit a bump or hole the speed and the rpm gage needle would start moving back and forth. You will lose control paddle until it stops moving and lasted briefly. It is not either location fault just bringing up to fix vehicle.ROBERT C.

The only reason I'm replying is that I find, even at various locations, it seems your "outside" help are always friendly and helpful, but your "inside" help are the most drab, unfriendly people of any service industry I know of. My problem is not the location. It is the really bad after hours website. It does not work and there is really nothing there to tell you what to do. When it is late at night and you have been moving all day the last thing you want to deal with is showing up and not being able to check your equipment in. Your instructions were incorrect and the website is crappy. It is all too much to type.Barry M.

I tried to reach the Uhaul customer service number and was told there were various wait times from 15 to 30 minutes and was never able to get in touch with them. Also the live chat said there was an 8 minute wait time and eventually just ended. One location I called refused to take the trailer drop off and said I'd have to take it somewhere else. The trailer was fine but Uhaul needs to vastly improve its customer service. Hire more helpPeggy L.

I was very pleased with the performance of the equipment and i was happy to see the equipment was new and low mileage. I only had one problem. I'm very short and had a very hard time getting in and out of the cab. I would suggest running boards to be offered. I really enjoyed the overall performance experience except not being able to get up in the cab and getting out.Marsha J.

I was charged a fuel fee of $25 for going 15 miles. There is already a charge of $1.09/mile and no one said anything about fuel and I wasn't given the tank full so I don't know why they charged me. It was very slow.Amanda L.

I went in person to book and pick up the u-haul. I told her I needed a dolly and a bag of blankets. When I got the truck home there weren't blankets and dolly weren't inside. I called her. She said she didn't have anyone to deliver it to us. I called her immediately and told her they forgot. I asked her if I drove all the way back in the u-haul if she'd change the gas meter and mileage, if she'd restart it from there. Come to find out the woman didn't even put them on the order. Listen confidence trust me a lot of extra money I didn't have It was a one way trip and I actually put more gas in it than when I left I-haul place with the blankets and dolly. Come to find out the place where I returned it to actually charged me for more miles and more gas and I don't think they ever reset the mileage or how much gas was in the truck when I left with it. I'm a single mother of four and I feel like I've been taking advantage of every $10 $20 countsShawna T.

The agreement states that u get a lock with the controlled climate unit I was just asked if I had a lock not that I get one .Secondly the a/c unit went out over on my side of storage and did not get a call so see if I needed to go check my stuff since that now its not a controlled climate other than that things were good.Thomas D. | Overall Experience

Staffing issues and while I was still in the process of securing my truck the staff left the truck running for 15 to 20 plus minutes with the ac going which took from the gas that was in the truck which I ended up having to replace at my expense on top of what I used for my mileage. There was a box left outside the loading/unloading door of bad food that was rotted and smelled. The agent took almost an hour to process the rental and when we got there didn't have the size of truck that I reserved at a different location wasn't advised of this til after he cancelled out the reservation for the size needed. Had to go to a smaller truck which now requires me to rent the size of truck that was needed which will be double for my move when ishould have only had a 1 time rental.Oleana M. | First Impressions

The overall was good. the one clerk never smiled though, and kept trying to sell product. charged me for something and then said she 'didn't know how to give the credit' so i had her get someone who did. this clerk said she had been working there for a long time, so i figure she knew 'exactly' what she was doing. everyone else was nice. she never ever smiled, said thank you or anything polite. the storage unit although said climate control was at least 80 degrees, way too warm for things that need climate control. i must add that i appreciated the Uhaul location and availability for an urgent need.sharon C. | Overall Experience

Was asked when I would be moving in, I stated I would be that night I booked the storage unit, and I was assured they would make sure No trucks would be blocking my unit, I go pack up a 26' Uhaul and drive it all the way to Tulsa to unload it and there is a truck blocking my whole unit about 6 inches from the door so there was absolutely no way to get into it, having to drive all the way back up there now just to unload my truck finally. U-Hauls late fee schedule violates the norms of decency. In my case I was out of town on a business trip. You charged me $30 late fee on a $129 invoice that was 20 days late. This figures out to about 445 per cent per annum. Usery rates by any definition. I called the manager to discuss this but he did not return my call. With our two companies in Arizona and California we have done tens of thousands of dollars per year with U-Haul. There was a flood outside our unit. We were told when we set up storage by the older lady that works there that there is NO insurance on storage units and we were not able to put insurance on our unit. All my pictures of my kids were ruined and U-Haul told us if we had insurance that they would have covered our damages. That lady is sooo rude Everytime I come in and lied to me and my family. I refuse to come into the store anymore. You can't get pictures back, thanks. Also the lady said we had 24/7 storage access, so we had a fully loaded uhaul truck to load into the storage we rented and got there and it said storage hours on Sunday close early, so we couldnt even access our storage to unload, had to have the truck an extra day, had to sleep inside truck so none would steal it or our belongings because of your worker LIEING! I almost lost my job. You all should be ASHAMED of yourselves and your POOR customer service. As far as the staff, they were super friendly and helpful. Other than that, I was highly disappointed with the facility. First, I had the climate controlled units (a total of 5). I've been in a few times and noticed the temperature in there to be very hot for being climate controlled. My dad and I started to move my stuff out on Friday, June 18, and it was around 90 in the area where my units were located. It was nicer to work outside with the breeze than work inside. I've had UHaul storage places in Texas that the climate controlled units were kept around 75-78, so it was nice to move in and out. So the biggest complaint is the climate controlled units are not worth the money here. If I need more, I'll go elsewhere. Secondly, at one point, the automatic opening doors stopped working at one point, so myself, my dad, and 2 ladies got locked in. I tried calling the office, but got voicemail. We almost went out the fire exit because we were all getting really hot and couldn't get in touch with anyone to let us out. Eventually my dad was able to get it opened. If I was looking for an outdoor unit, I might come back here, but I won't ever be back for climate controlled. It was a waste of money and time. I wouldn't recommend using this location. I would rather have my storage experience be more about what I pay for (my storage units) than friendly staff.Stephen D. | Overall Experience

Appreciated getting 1 month free after renting a moving truck from UHaul. But if my unit had been located inside rather than outside, it would have been extremely inconvenient to not be able to get into my unit after 10pm. The broken water pipe and the way it was handled was a main reason to move out. I realize U-Haul did not deliberately cause the problem but trashing my goods with no consideration for the loss was not good. At least I was given a replacement lock for the one cut off when I couldn't make a 700 mile trip in the time allocated to clean/empty my bin.
