Didn't know I was suppose to take pic after hrs when I dropped it. I only knew when I logged into my bank account to see my charges. All the lady told me was pull the truck up in the line of return equipment and there is a key drop on the side of building. So that's what I did. The person who helped us was extremely rude. When she asked if we would be returning the trailer we asked what the difference in charge would be and she acted irritated because she had to enter everything in order to get the quote then when we asked what it would be to return there she was made because she had to start over and was complaining that she was too busy.. when we returned the next day it showed we hadn't even taken it, so whatever she did wasn't correct anyway. I was then concerned we could have been arrested for stealing it (excpet we had paperwork thank goodness). I don't even want to return to that location just because of her. Only problem I had was that the lady that rented me the truck and sold me the lock failed to let me know that I need a receipt to return the lock if I didn't need it. So when I went in to return the keys and lock I didn't need I was informed that I needed a hard receipt to return the lock. So all I could do was give someone the lock I didn't need.ANGELO B.

I did the mobile checkin. The girl at the front did not know how to handle the mobile check in. I showed her my phone and told her I did a mobile checkin and needed my keys. She got on the radio to ask someone if a mobile checkin could even be done...she wasn't paying attention to my question. The other issue is that you need to have a designated spot for mobile check in at the counter. If there are people in line, you have to wait in line for those people while the ONE person at the counter attends to the other customers.Hung P.

Everything has been great until we received this notice - we HAD NOT MOVED OUT. I cannot tell you how disconcerting it was to receive this notice. We were not sure if our belongings had been stolen or what was going on. It took three phone calls before they could even find our name in the system. Then one guy called us back and said it was a mistake and our stuff was still there. Of course we drove in from out of town ourselves to verify - thankfully the locks were in place and everything still there. I realize mistakes happen but these types cause a lot of stress. I had trusted the facility to be secure with cameras and monitored access and placed decades of my irreplaceable photos, documentation of military service, coin collection materials, a small heavy safe with coins, camping items and boxes of office materials and financial records for years plus much more. U-Haul advertises its locks as great security BUT the thieves wiped me out despite this lauded and false security. Came through the locked door with the "great" lock. The Manager David responded well to an issue I had He provided several solutions which I was pleased with He also checked periodically to make sure everything was going good. The staff weather in the store or seeing them working around the facility were friendly some greeted by a hello or wave or friendly gesture smile etc. The facility in or out were kept up and loved the cleaning lady always happy and constantly cleaning whenever I saw her. I liked the extra security measures in addition to your locks, swiping in and out , the lighting , and even the ear piercing alarm when it went off occasionally. Your staff is rude in all three locations I visited. They all acted like they were doing me a big favor just to let me speak with them. I am the client not the tax collector. I am paying you money not collecting money. Your staff needs a lesson in common customer service. The unit I rented had not been cleaned out and there was trash and debris still in the storage room. The only polite person on the site was the courteous young man that accepted the rental van. My son worked at your location many years ago during his sophomore year of college.
