this used to be a great location...the people were always helpful and friendly....not any more...I have great difficulty walking due to an accident..I am usually in a wheelchair...When I hobbled in to rent my pick up truck, I asked for a chair...despite 2 being behind the desk, I was told there were none...I struggled to stand without pain while i waited...would it hurt to have a couple of chairs for people like me?...When I went back to return the truck, there was a young guy who clearly was challenged behind the desk...it took him forever. I asked him to explain something to me and he said "I don't know, I just work here"...WOW...He grabbed my keys to check the mileage then left the door open with my purse in it...I hobbled out to sit in the truck, then he came back out and said I needed to go back in...when I went back in I said I needed something to sit on...he grabbed a stool, and put it roughly down by me...Very disappointed...most likely will not return...there are other places to go....

How about not overcharging me for gas. I calculated how many miles I drove 35 and so I figured 7 miles a gallon so I put in 5 gallons. When I got back they charged me an extra 12 bucks for gas. That mean I was probably only getting four miles to the gallon on a 17-ft truck!! That is awful. Even an RV gets 8 mi to the gallon.

No level one was done ( tires weren't checked when last returned. Was not told the gas needed to be returned with the amount it was left. No storage unit was asked if needed. N level 2 sticker was even on the vehicle and the oil level was at 9% VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE. This is all totally unacceptable from such a reliable company. I expect a visit and a review of all trucks and trailers on this lot by DM. This could have been very tragic if something would have happened to myself or my family, And hopefully this truck has not gone out again before fully inspected by a certified mechanic at corporate and the proper and updated stickers are put on truck? The funny thing is , that it was a NEW GM who rented me this truck? Aren't you suppose to LEAD BY EXAMPLE? Shame on you. I will await response, reimbursement or call from cooperate rep. Now I can honestly say that I had the perfect experience after some not so good ones. I got to U-Haul at 730am and was promptly greeted by Coty. She did some typing, asked a few questions and got me on my way. I got back mid afternoon and dropped truck to Dallas(she also addressed me by name. Kudos for that) and also a younger guy that I missed his name. Checked truck in and was on my way. Thank you Uhaul for giving your team the tools they need to be top notch and they did great. I had a reservation @7AM and employee got there right at 7AM so I gave 10 minutes to let her open up just to find out that keys to trucks were in safe with no access. I was late to my Appt. to pick up items for auction. Staff offered 50.00 credit when I returned but I declined since my client was not upset that I was late. Fast forward a week and I have A reservation for 7:30AM...they dont have a truck. I own a business and need to be able to rely on you to get to my appointments. They told me that I could go elsewhere to get one at 8AM. If I wanted one at 8AM somewhere else, I would have made reservation there. This is not an Employee problem. This a Uhaul problem. I have A corporate account to get in and out quickly AND with the equipment I reserved. I will be contacting my Acct. Rep. but 2 weeks and 2 problems is unacceptable. Again Uhaul is putting the employees in a no win situation and it is not fair to them or their customers. I have rented approx. 35 uhauls this year and need to leave reviews on each one. Please give me a reason to give the employees a glowing review by helping them do their jobs to satisfaction R&R Auction INC

Worst customer service experience of my life. Dallas was rude and told not just myself but other customers in the lobby that we don't pay attention when making reservations and that's why we got stuck with a smaller truck. Would never do business there again!

Have full tanks of gas that way the employees won't have a problem over charging the customer saying it's always more then what the gas guage really is. Never let a truck leave the lot w/less then a full tank of gas. Your systems are always down, can NEVER check in via my phone, bcuz ur system doesn't work, same as self check in, wasn't able to do that eight w/out system error, very agitating! Wow uHaul, u think $.99 cents a mile is absolutely ludacris! 08/31/20 it was $.90 cents a mile, still ridiculous! Inconvenient every ave. Budget doesn't have a problem filling their gas tanks full 4 the customer. U never pay for gas, the customer does.

The staff, especially the Manager, were professional enough, but the overall experience was nightmarish because of U-Haul's clunky, junky app. It's hilarious enough that the company makes you do the staff's work for them -- entering the starting mileage, inspecting for damage, etc. But when the app mysteriously declares that you already checked in when you didn't, and you have no way to note that, somehow, the logged starting mileage was more than 100 miles less than the actual reading, you are forced to depend on a verbal assurance "not to worry about it"... It all combines for unnecessary added stress. By the way, the appliance dolly I ordered and was billed for was not in the truck. In the end, the bill was corrected, but make no mistake: The app is NOT there to help you; it's there to make their job easier and is very customer-hostile. Neutral experience at best.

Good Morning I originally resereved the trailer on 27th avenue and Dunlap with contract 80818032. My trailer was not there at the location at the time of my reservation and i had to go all the way to 51st avenue and glendale to pick up the trailer. the rep at the uhaul on 27th ave denied my $50 credit that it specifically says i should get if my equipment is not there at the time it was reserved. they were not helpful at all with that and said since i was going to a different location to pick up that i did not qualify for the credit. Please assist.

Service was good.. rented a tow dolly for 24 hrs.. returned it 8 hours later and was charged for an over night service charge.. i have returned other equipment before at other locations after hours and have not been charged this fee before and I was never told about this fee..

I went there earlier today to rent a storage unit and was helped by a new employee. He was very friendly, but he missed quite a few important details. After completing the transaction, I went to check out my unit. I was not offered to be shown where it was by the office staff, and when I tried to get in through the doors, they didn't open. The janitor informed me I needed to use my card. I was not given a card. I had to go back inside and ask for my card. Not a big deal at this point. I was given my card and was able to get in. When I went to the basement to view my unit, it was locked. I was informed by the personnel in there that I needed approval for them to remove the lock. I spoke with the "manager" Coty, and she said it was approved. So I went to get back in, and the door would not open. After standing there for a few minutes, I went back inside and spoke with Coty again (who was too busy to make sure I had everything I needed to complete my transaction). She then informed me it would take 24 hours for my card to open the doors even though it was checking me in and out. She then pointed out a door that I could use that was in the office (would have been helpful to mention during the rental transaction). I then went and found the janitor and let him know that Coty authorized the removal of the lock. He removed it and asked me where my lock was. I told him that I was told they weren't provided and would have to buy my own (and was not told they sold them there), and he told me that it should have been. I returned to the office again, and asked Coty if I could ask her a quick question, (about the lock), and she told me I'd have to wait until she finished helping the customer she was with. I then told her that I had not been fully helped, and she ignored. I only wanted to question about the lock. At this point, I was thoroughly frustrated with this entire ordeal. When it was my "turn", I inquired about the lock in which she told me "how am I supposed to know you weren't offered a lock?" in a rude tone. I then told her that I would like a refund since if it's this difficult now, why would I want to continue this agreement. She then told me, and in a very rude tone with angry facial features that "Don't take this out on him, he's new!" I said I wanted a refund again, and it was processed. The issue here is that they had a new employee with no training, the "manager" didn't care, and the rudeness when trying to get everything straightened out. I don't work there, so how am I supposed to know the procedure? Coty is a terrible manager, and if you, the owner, check this, please re-think your employee decisions.

I had a good experience except the time the manager (I don't remember his name), had a problem with me being in my unit longer than an hour. He made it to where I couldn't get back in that night. I was trying to organize my stuff and clean up and grab some things on the way out. He made that very difficult for me! I never had a problem before that, but I thought that was very rude to do that behind my back.
