Wen I picked up the van there were some damages to the passenger side which were not captured in the pictures. I noticed them and marked them before I sign off. The gas gauge was showing full and I only drove 6 km with it and put 5 liters to the van even the the gauge was showing full. I dropped the van and by the time I got home, I saw charges for 6 liters of gas. These vans cannot burn 11 liters for only 6 kilometers. I talked with the staff today but it was not helpful. I cannot trust them any more. The gage was showing full when I returned it but still they say it was not. I only drove it for 6 km and have already put 5 liters in the tank.Amir B.

Rented a trailer and they refused to help with the hookup. They were to busy socializing on the phone. The person said that it is always the customers responsibility to find and connect the tray, and then go back in and find / call them to come out and Inspect / take photos of the hookup. Lazy staff is what I got . Not recommend this location.Peter P.

This was the WORST customer experience I had EVER had! The woman who checked me in could care less about her job. She was too busy watching videos on her phone. My phone wasn't signing into the app to do my mobile upgrade, and it was like I ruined her day! I will be putting a call into head office. Uhaul should be aware and care about customer experience. I was grossly over charged for no reason, I returned the rental van 2 hours before my drop off time and was charged for a late return fee. Then I was charged 7$ for using a credit card when that's the only method of payment. Would like some answersalex D.

My confirmation email for the reservation was for a Keele St. location at 4pm. When I clicked the email link on the way to get the truck, it said Weston Rd. for 3:30 pickup. I had to stop and call to figure out which was true. Pretty sloppy.Bob S.

Drop off showing location and not being able to click drop off was horrible as it wouldn't allow me too or others which caused the $20 fee. ( yes it's getting reimbursed but that's not the point drop off shouldn't be difficult). I also didn't want insurance I clicked no INSURANCE AND I STILL WAS CHARGED IT. The same way they reimbursed the late fee as it wasn't my fault they could of done the same. I DIDN'T want insurance. I only used the rental from 4-7:30 and on top of that I left the cargo van with more gas and that's something I didn't have to do.Cheryl J.
The team did not seem to want to help and the installation was not completed properly. The electrical was not done to code and did not work. I'm connecting with Karon McDonnell about this who is connecting with the installation store about the issue. It was not quality work at all and I'm disputing the charge completely. I needed it for 1 single use and that opportunity has passed so I have no use for this and if anything, my car was damaged in the process from your mechanic. The mechanic at the location (Rexdale) where I was later supposed to rent the trailer confirmed that the work was not done properly from the other location (Weston)Will C.

Everything was great except for the fact that I got my invoice the next day and it had a $20.00 late fee charge added. Now the lady who took my reservation was very nice and friendly. She pointed out to me to check the van before leaving for damage, offered me insurance, told me how much gas i had to bring it back with and said as long as you bring it back before midnight, there will be no fee. Well i did bring the van back before midnight and dropped the key off as she told me. However, she didn't tell me that i needed to call U-haul or use my mobile device to notify them when the van was dropped off. I called U-Haul today and explained the situation and all i got back was that this clause was on the contract. I tried to explain further but she just kept saying the same thing and then hung up on me. I was not impressed with this service and would appreciate if someone would get back to me and reconsider returning the extra $20.00 that i was charged. Your registration people should clearly point this out.TED A C.

Getting into parking lot was a bit tricky as location is at an intersection. Unable to shift truck out of tow/haul while empty so gear shifting was rough. Non Adjustable side mirrors was annoying. Clean functional vehicle though. Probably due for an oil change. Overall a good price for what I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lady who is on duty during my rental was impolite and unkind. It is my first time renting trailer. I am not knowledgeable of it. First of all issue, my rent supposedly is 12:30pm. I waited for around 10mins and didn't know where was the lady. And when she finally showed up, no greetings or anything. I was waiting on the desk that I got normally served, but she went to the other table and she wasn't talking. So then I moved to the desk where she seated and I even approach her first. Again, no greetings or anything. Well, I didn't know if she's not in the mood or whatever. Also, she's wearing wireless headphone and talking to someone. Then, during our conversation regards of my purchase and rental, there were times that I didn't know that she was talking to me. As she was talking to someone over the phone. So sometimes, when she talks I don't respond and she's like mad as I don't respond, well she was talking to someone so I don't know if she's talking to me or no. Again, it is my first time renting trailer, so as new customer, I'm not to sure about hitch attach or ball. So then I asked her about the sizes of it. And again, she wasn't nice answering me. And didn't even get up from her sit to help me out about the item. Overall, it was bad experience with that lady. Bad customer service. For reference, I hope you guys can review all the CCTV that they had. I love UHAUL, it's just that one time that was disappointing.VAN DALE C.

Rental was scheduled for 7pm when location was already closed. Staff closing the location told me Rexdale was open 24hrs. Went there and it also closed at 7pm. Why can you book trailer checkouts for a timeslot when a location is closed?! Waste of time, money, and gas.Derek C.
Good Evening, Please be advised I was not pleased with my experience when it came to returning the vehicle. I had asked if we could extend as we are still waiting for our vehicle to be fixed. (I had forgotten to extend before I left on vacation where I had limited access to phone and emails). I was very rudely told that if the vehicle was returned that night that it would be reported as stolen. This is not the way a customer should be approached especially when they are acknowledging your call and letting you know what is happening. Please speak to your staff and let them know this is not acceptable treatment of customers. Especially repeat customers.KYLE R.

Pick up was a nightmare. Everyone in line had a reservation and it still took each person 15 minutes to get their equipment. We arrived on time, and it took us a full hour to get the truck. Jenecia (the girl with the blond and black braids) had a terrible attitude. Her customer service was worse than poor. She often rolled her eyes at customers and give exasperated sighs and huffs when we asked her for direction or clarification on anything (like mileage allowance). She makes uhaul look bad and I never want to come to that location again. On the other hand, drop off was a breeze. Salesha (I'm not sure if I have the name right) was very pleasant and helpful. She should be staffed at busy times instead of the other lady.Oluwabimisola A.
I was denied the Cargo Van 1st time. The representative told me that somehow I kicked someone out of the reservation queue meaning I cancelled someone's reservation and placed myself instead therefore she will not give me the Cargo Van. She handed me a customer care number, knowing very well it will take me an hour to get to them and eventually derail my plans. Only after talking to customer care and noticing that my pickup time has changed in the UHaul app. I decided to go again and this time the 2nd representative (with whom the 1st representative consulted before denying me Van) gave me the van without raising the same concern. This whole stupid incident delayed my moving by 3 hours. I was only able to return my Cargo Van at 12:45 AM on August 1st, instead of 9:45-10:00 PM on July 31st. This whole thing could have been avoided had the representative not used their end-of-the-month tactics to harass me. It was the worst experience. And because I was supposed to move on July 31st but was denied the van 1st time I had to start looking: - for an alternate place to stay for a day and keep my stuff - book a van for the next day - request my friend to help me move the next day (August 1st) as well when he already cancelled his plans to help me move on July 31st This whole process of picking up the van was very stress-inducing not only for me but for my friend too. I will not recommend the Uhaul at the Weston Road location to anyone. Representatives are not professional and lack a general understanding of what the customer will go through if they just act on their whim and not their brains. These people are very irresponsible and not helpful at all.Varun M.
