There was some corrosion on the plug for the trailer lights on my vehicle. Installer helped get it working (kudos to him), but there wasn't a brush or anything to help do the job. I had to use a paperclip to scrape off the corrosion. Not U-haul's responsibility but seems like a good thing to have on hand to help resolve the issue.

U-Haul in general is a scam. Made my reservation online for a different location and showed up and was advised they didn’t have and sent me to Silverado. When I got there they also advised they didn’t have an in town 20 footer but could give me a one way 20 footer for more. Ridiculous. Needed the 20 footer so paid

I didn't have an install. I went there to purchase a hitch to install myself. Was told the only wayti purchase it was to schedule an install. It took two weeks to receive my hitch. It wasn't until my wife went into the center and complained to the manager that they let her pick up the hitch. Kept telling me it wasn't in yet and should be here tomorrow. Then made her drive to another center to purchase a wiring kit that I ordered attve time I ordered the hitch

Nothing, excellent all around. Miguel and the staff were so kind and helpful when I was going through a traumatic time in my life. They all deserve a raise! I would recommend this U Haul store to my friends and family. Thanks

Too improve nothing! Every time I go in to this location the staff is always pleasant and on top of it all. I enjoy the conversation while waiting for the rental process to complete. I look forward to my next visit. Question tho, I was offered a month of free storage, which is great and needed, but why such a far off location on the other side of town?? Couldn't it be a closer location? Other than that it's always a pleasure.

The manager was so rude to me when I came to return the equipment and called me a liar when I said the wrong lock was recommended to me and refused to refund it.

This is my 4th visit and even though the place was packed (4/1) the lady that helped me was so on top of everything. I wish I knew her name she has been there every time and really knows how to make the process easy.

This is our usual U-Haul location we go to. The location is easy to get in and out of. We were directed to the Spanish Springs location by your personnel as they had a vehicle we needed and offered a great deal to move it to the silverada location to assist in equipment transfer. Thank You!

The U-Haul website said the Virginia st location had a pickup truck available but when I went in person to rent it there was not one available. The staff at that location was able to look up to see there was a pickup truck available at the Oddie location. So she made me a reservation so I could just go pick it up then. When I got to the Oddie location they tell me they do NOT have the pickup truck available. I ended up renting a 10’ van because I did not want to keep driving around town. I paid for 25 miles upfront but only ended up using 20 miles so I expected a refund once I returned it. Not only did I not get a refund, I was charged an extra $36.73 because they said I didn’t return it with the amount of gas I received it with. Lesson learned I will take a picture of the gauge next time because I know I returned it with MORE than what I was given. I submitted a dispute with proof of gas purchase for $17.49. $17.49 was 4 gallons of gas…. 4 gallons of gas is definitely more than 20 miles worth of driving so the van was obviously returned with more gas than I used. A manger responded and gave me a $32.48 but that is only a portion of what is owed to me. I should be receiving the entire $36.73 PLUS the refunded 5 miles. I’m leaving this review because I am disappointed the refund wasn’t settled correctly and the $8 more owed to me isn’t worth driving out of my to the Oddie location to get it handled.

The 9ft van I rented was given to me with a rear tire with 50psi lower than what was recommended by the sticker in the drivers door jam. Such a low tire pressure ruins gas mileage and can cause the tire to lose its grip on the road, trouble with handling in corners, and requires greater braking distance. Definitely get them to pressurize all tires before driving away.

The truck sounded like the transmission could fall.out any second. I cannot believe that truck is legal or safe on the road. Even the location is full of trash and homeless people. Would never go to this location again. I forgot to take photos if the truck and was charged for something called a corner cap. I'll pay it but I did nothing to that van. I think this location is scamming to get their.older vehicles fixed. I may never use uhaul again actually.

Everyone went out of there way to help us. They were very busy but the Manager made us feel like it just us in the store. They assisted us, and brought safety issues to our attention. I would highly recommend the Oddie location to everyone. I would like to say a personal thank you to the Manager for his outstanding customer service.
