Personnel were great: friendly and professional in their interactions with me. Phone system when they are busy left me on hold for 20 minutes and I ended up driving over to see if size/class of vehicle was available. Had to then go back to rent vehicle. Everything was fine until we returned the vehicle after hours...no fault of the location used, but rather Uhaul's false advertising of emergency assistance....after cleaning and locking the vehicle up i realized i had left my wallet in the front of the van....it was 2 hours past closing, about 2200 .. my wife and i attempted to call the number for emergency roadside assistance....it took 30 + ,minutes to get a reply...when i explained my situation (which was my fault) the operator stated that there was nothing that could be done...???? REALLY Uhaul??? i mean REALLY....what is the point of offering 24 hour road service if you can not provide it??? Where the heck was management ...?? I think the CEO and his staff need to pay a visit to their emergency road side assistance office and find out what the heck is going on....i sure would if i were in that seat....as a 33 year military veteran...whenever i heard of stuff like this...not matter the time of day or nite...man i got to the bottom of it and darn quick....i even offered to have our AAA come out and open the car if Uhaul would allow it...no response from the person on the other end. You have a great service...a fair price...and you give military discounts....your offer of 24 hour roadside service is deceiving people who count on you when the have a real need. I was overcharged for the returned equipment. The girl that was there didn't know what she was doing. She said I would receive a call from the manager which never happened. I was told that my card would automatically be credited back, never happened. I made a change and had the trailer dropped back off at the oddie store not Fallon and was still charge the same price. The guy at the counter when I walked in didn't acknowledge me at all. And when it was my turn he stated about 6 times "Mamm, I don't understand. He acknowledged the nest customer. When I said Sir back to him 6 times he got angry and tossed my CCS back at me and told me I could leave. Then he said he needed to calm down. He did this by helping the customer who came in after me. When he came back he made a point of ringing up the transaction over the amount given at time of reservation just to confirm for me who was in control. The gas tank was less than half full when I picked up the truck. I noticed after I left the parking lot. I was not reminded by the attendant to check the gas. I only drove the vehicle 18 miles so my use was obvious. Nevertheless, the conversation that ensued when returning was somewhat contentious regarding my responsibility for returning the truck with a full tank.Darrell B.

Hire more people. The office is so busy waiting on customers, they don't have time to deal with phone. People are left on hold for long periods of time. Make sure the doors have automatic locks on the keychain so when people forget to lock the doors on the utility Van's nobody else will sneak in the trucks and steal there personal items like I've been thru but other then that the employees and employers and everything else is excellence. The staff was rude and would not explain why I was getting charged more for something I already paid for. The first girl got on the phone and was talking about having babies. Very unprofessional. Plus I had to pull my own truck up when they were supposed to. They all just stood around. I asked why I was being charged and the man said it is what I wanted. Then they were going to charge me twice. Terrible service rude and unprofessional. I asked for a receipt and I was given a paper that just said I was getting charged again. I was having an issue with picking up my truckshare cargo van at this location.The General Manager walked a hispanic gentleman past right by without even acknowledging i was in the parking lot no good morning can i help you nothing! I ended up late and had to cancel a day g before because he refused to help while he smiled and taunted me from inside the locationi through the window,I was there at 530 he arrived around 6:15, he said he couldnt speak to me before 7 because of policy and security issues.At 7 im now at 1/2 hours late and he was the most disrepectful cock General Mgr o ever dealt with i had similar problem with mgr at 2411 South Virginia who charged me too much for mileage and fought tooth and nail to avoid providing a refund of 112.00 he finally agreed after 10 emails that i have yet to receive from prior rental days ago.My truck share account does not show up in the app, so whe i arrive early to a store for pickup it says i have no reservation and when it was done manually by customer service the attendant in Corporate doest know there is a specific way to take driver lic. photo (training issue) which is vertical with the circle on your face, i saw the mgr do it in the store if he was a competent mgr he wouldve been helpful when i verbally told him i was having an issue with it an hour ago, i found that dealing with these locations the regular employees are more respectful and helpful than management because they face reprocussion thats not in place with Management so they dont care and they talk like they own the company and could care less..this is from my first two rentals ever with Uhaul.I have a reser bation pending i hope my third times a charm.The problem is so deep and requires disiplinary Action to Management who have no problem with presenting a poor excuse for Customer Service at these Reno Nevada Locations.Thankyou for allowing my feedback..its pretty bad.Kaida L.

Placed order/reservation on line, it gave us the closest place for the trailer we wanted,Silver Springs( it was almost 40 min from our house) getting there 20min before they opened. When they opened the man helping us was drunk or very hung over ,waited about 30 min to find out that he rented our trailer to someone else, and was very rude when my husband asked why he did that when we had reserved it and sent us all the way out of our way for nothing. Slurring his words the hole time said we picked that location. OMG !! we did not pick that location the web site did no other location had the trailer we needed. My husband drove 40 min back to town to the Oddie location to see if they had one and the customer service there was not good, gave my husband the run around before renting a trailer to him. We have rented from them for the past 10yrs and we will not go back.By this point we are so upset and mad for the way they treated us , They offered to take half or more off the rental and never did. We do not recommend going to the Silver Spring or Oddie Location . They need to have better customer service and find better employees that are not drunk or hungover and have a better bed side manner.Lauri S.

I rent trailer from you guys all the time, but this last time I rented a auto transport, I was accused of stealing an employees cell phone without rhyme or reason, so I went back to return the transport trailer, and the manger, (same guy that called accusing me of stealing) helps with disconnecting the trailer from my truck, and casually mentions that his employee found his phone in one of the vehicles on the lot. The manager didn't apologize for the accusation and didn't offer to explain himself as to why I was to blame for the misplaced phone.
