I was happy with everything until I was given a truck with a little less than 1/4 tank of gas. I put 15 dollars of gas in it to make it to where I was going and when I dropped it back off at Uhaul (5 or 6 hours earlier than what I checked it out for) the checkout process was practically non-existent. Without even looking at the truck, I was told “you're good to go” by the checkout person. If they would have done it correctly I could have been reminded to put a couple more dollars of gas in to get it back to the 1/4 tank mark, which I would have HAPPILY done. I am very upset that because of this, I was charged an extra 48 dollars on top of my rental charges. A 30 dollar “fuel service fee” and 18 dollars for 4 gallons of gas (which comes out to $4.50/gallon, and gas is not that high ANYWHERE around Tucson) I would have even put $25 dollars which would have put it well over 1/4 tank and still saved money. I had no idea that this is how U-Haul conducts their business and if I did I would have gone elsewhere.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The truck bed was clean. The seats were covered in dog hair. I asked for a new truck. The second truck seats were also covered in dog hair. When I asked about changing trucks, they said someone earlier had complained about the dog hair as well.

Service was very good. However, the $19.95 price tag is misleading. My use of a van cost $70, a long ways from $19.95. Rental includes tax and fees (mileage), insurance (optional), and gas (recommended that van tank be full when returned). Recommend that renters keep mileage and extra expenses in mind.

They didn't bother to spell my name right and wouldn't correct it when i asked. They got alot of my other information wrong as well. Furthermore, the dolly i rented was bent and caused injury as well as broken furniture. When i returned the dolly they didn't seem at all concerned. They said, and i quote, " it doesn't look bent to me". I wasn't happy at all with the way they treated me so i called customer service. I spent over an hour on the phone. I worked my way up the ladder until i was talking with a corporate manager. She got me another dolly at a different location, free of charge. She also gave me the number for their insurance company. I filed a claim for my injury and broken furniture. I have used uhaul a few times in the past and never had any issues. I would not reccomend this location nor will i ever return.

The information provided online was incorrect; it clearly said we had from Monday to Wednesday to load our ubox, but when we double-checked at the actual location (thank god we checked!) they said it was scheduled to be picked up Tuesday morning. The staff was very helpful and was easily able to change the pick-up date, so overall our experience was still quite good. However, it's still frustrating that the information explicitly presented when we booked the reservation online was not correct.

After returning my truck with only 8 miles driven, I received a receipt for 4 gallons used at $20. The paperwork said I started at 3/4 tank and returned it at 1/2. I came back to complain and the person who took care of me said there wasn't much he could do, his counterpart even took a picture showing 1/2 tank. We went out to the truck, he turned the motor and when I looked, there was very clearly 5/8 of a tank. I told him to look. He was forced to agree w me and refunded me $11 of the $20. He should have refunded me the whole gas for the total bullshit this was. Terrible service, definitely won't go to that Uhaul ever again.

If someone has a flip phone you can not dispute the damage before you pull out. Also if you do dispute a pic you can not just write it down the scratches, dents, etc. it has to have a pic. Using my phone as a phone and nothing else it was frustrating that I did not know how to submit a pic with the dispute.
