The online experience renting the trailer was excellent. Picking up the equipment was terrible. I had to drive from one Uhaul location to another without taillights on the trailer during rush hour to buy an adopter. They connected the adopter and walked away. Fortunately I tested it before I left and the lights were not functioning. They fiddled with it until the lights worked, but I left the lot with zero confidence in the trailer. The moving blankets I ordered were not provided. The trailer did not have a spare tire or chock blocks. This is unsafe and should at least be a highly recommended option on the rental page.

Maintain the same type of customer service agent I dealt with. He appeared hard working and communicated very well. He greeted me when I walked in. Two other agents there didn't acknowledge me at all. They both had their heads buried in their phones. It's not to say I would have gotten poor service from them, but I think I was fortunate to get the agent I did. He was there to receive my return and was just as friendly. Great employee. Sadly I don't recall his name.

The store did not inspect this truck. Instead, they attached photos of a completely DIFFERENT TRUCK to represent its rented condition. Obviously none of the existing ACTUAL DAMAGE to my truck was shown on the other imaginary truck! This constitutes fraud. Also, the gas level was listed as 1/2 instead of the actual 1/8!! That's a lot of gas! A proper inspection is *your* job, not mine. I wasted an hour inspecting and documenting, and you should pay ME for the job your store should have done. Also, I later discovered the drivers window does not roll up, and the ignition's jacked up. And worst of all, the brakes squeal very badly. When was the last time this truck was actually inspected? Have you ever been stranded due to a poorly maintained rental truck? I have! Do a better job of inspecting and maintenance! Get this truck fixed.

Every time that I reserve trailer on line and go through all question of do you need this or that by clinking No-Thanks and choosing damage wavering option, it is annoying when I go to pickup the trailer, the clerk is asking the same question that I answered during online specially emphasizing on damage insurance when they already answer that. It would be faster and easier if the information that I provided online is available to them on their system so I just have to show my ID and Pay before pickup.

The app is horrible! It kept crashing, freezing and kept making me retake my info. Took me 30 min to get the truck. Meanwhile, I have people waiting on me to help me. When I made it clear to them do not be late for the move and then I'M LATE!!

The only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 is because the gentleman who helped me through this monumental screw up handled it extremely well. When I arrived Friday morning to pickup my 26' truck reserved 2 weeks prior, I was informed it wasn't available. The truck was rented out the day before to a lady who swore to return it before 7pm. Somehow she was allowed to extended her reservation until Friday evening and screw over my rental. The guy helping me couldn't find a 26' truck anywhere else that was available. To top it off, they had a 26' truck in the lot, but because it didn't have all the right paperwork they weren't allowed to rent it. This ruined my entire day of moving plans. He was able to get me a 20' truck, however the size of this truck made it impossible to get all my stuff moved in 1 trip to my new home 50 miles away. He did also give me some discounts to offset for the inconvenience and I was grateful. Regardless, this situation should have never happened! I spent my entire day moving because of this mistake. 6hrs of it in Friday bumper to bumper traffic. Please do me one favor, do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't happen again. Unfortunately, you have permanently lost me as a customer and I will not be recommending you to any of my friends.

I think you're service is good,, although I had to wait in line for a half hour.. I know you're going to say it is due to Covid 19. but also your way way to expensive.. I picked up a truck at Home Depot the next day almost the same size for $150. For same Mielage. So when you guys charged me over $500 . I paid Cash And it's been 2 Days that you put $500. On hold, my money is not back on my card yet . Hello. I I would have to say I would refer my friends to Home Depot sorry.

Staff was very lazy. Looked at their phones and not the customers. Did not tell me where my trailer was. Acted like I was a mind reader. When i returned trailer they made me back trailer into a parking spot after I told them I was not good at doing this. Other locations they have you drop trailer off and they move it into a spot. Again very lazy people working here. They must hire the same lazy type of people. I have had great experiences at all other locations. This one needs someone in charge to shape workers up and teach them to be polite.

My 20 ft truck to be picked up at 7am Saturday was cancelled at 7pm Friday evening. We had 2 houses to move in 1 Saturday and were stuck using a Cargo Van. Where we were planning on making 2 trips, we ended up making 10 trips and wasting a whole day. Very unprofessional

My equipment was some how checked into another location in Michigan. I've never been to Michigan. I was charged $800 for wrong destination return. I'm hoping this gets corrected. May be a disastrous experience.

ZERO sanitizing during COVID, Disgusting dirty truck. Filthy cab that smelled. Sticky steering wheel. Window was so dirty you could hardly see out I had to clean that as well. I had to use an entire package of Lysol wipes to clean the inside of the truck they turned black with dirt. Melted sticky ice cream on the floor. Horrible customer service they said the truck cleaning must have been missed. No option for a clean truck.

The mobile check-in process needs improvement. Perhaps when the reservation confirmation is sent, let the renter know they will need to let someone know that UHaul would be calling them to verify their identity. I found out when I got there and the person I put down didn't answer their phone and I had to keep trying other contacts. I ended up having to go to the counter to check-in AND out. Not so "contactless"

The employees were awesome. Didn't catch their names but very polite and cool. Also got some propane after returning the trailer. Again excellent experience. So fast and friendly. I'll be back a lot!

Very poor guest experience! I went online and reserved a 26' for 8 in the morning. I show up, and I'm told my reservation was changed to a 15' truck for 2:30 PM. I was told that scheduling wasn't able to find a 26' for me, so they should have contacted me to discuss options. I never received a call, text, or email regarding the mixup. I had paid for and scheduled movers to be at my house starting at 9 AM. The first agent that helped offered no solutions at all. The second agent that came over to help offered to rent me a 17' truck for two days at the price of one day. He said that he would escalate this so a manager with scheduling would contact me to resolve the dispute. We had to make two roundtrips because of not having the equipment that I rented. This resulted in over $200 in gas, plus $10 in bridge tolls. To make matters worse, when I return the truck Sunday morning, the agent wanted to charge for all the mileage. I disputed the charge, the agent told me would have his manager call me. I waited a week for the manager to call, and he never did. Next, I see the total charge post on my credit card. I call U-Haul (and speak with Alexander) to dispute and I'm told that an area manager will call me within 72 hours. I never got a call. I called back and the next agent tells me that Alexander didn't put the dispute incorrectly, and so she is updating my dispute and the area manager as well as the scheduling manager will call me in 24-48 hours. I haven't received a phone call. This has been a terrible experience, and I shouldn't have to pay for all the additional mileage for U-Haul's mistakes. Please credit me back the $300+ charges.

My rental was presented by being not washed & cleaned by proper COVID protocols you claim. It made my inspection for damage much harder. The Representative lady was kind enough to ask if I wanted it washed. I didn't have to wait around for this to be done. The inside had dust on dashboard leading me to believe no COVID sanitation was done prior to delivery to me. Again, your Rep offered to clean the inside and did because of potential COVID contact. My concern is you advertise strict cleaning procedures that weren't followed, thus, subjecting me potential illness. Otherwise, the service I received was fine. But, it cost me time waiting before I could leave with confidence. Knowing I had a reservation for the van & it wasn't clean is of major importance to me with the COVID situation we are all experiencing! The staff is very attentive otherwise.

I've never had issues with this place and will continue going here. The staff seems fine and there is nothing great about this place, but nothing bad either. Our van wasn't there when we went to pick it up. The worker was out with it. I'm not sure if he was cleaning or on his lunch break but we ended up taking another van instead, which was filthy. Overall 3/5 and I would use here again because it's the best in the area.

I have rented vans from U-Haul before, the steering on this one was very "loose." It felt like driving a boat when driving over any bump on the road, the wheels shifted to a new position requiring a steering correction to continue straight down the road. I forgot my mask and the cashier rightly required that I go back to my car and get it. I mentioned to the other man working there that he didn't have a mask on, he pulled up his mask and said "yes I do." Really? Handling of the check in and check out was quick and professional. Thank you

The equipment wasn't as clean as my previous rental. There were scratches in the bed and small trash in the driver cabin. My biggest problem was the van reference on the website is not the one available at U-Haul. I was expecting a Ford with lower deck height for ease of loading and unloading. All the location had was Chevrolet with much more higher deck.

reserve uhaul; uhaul not available when I went to pickup. no point in a reservation system if your not going to have a truck ready for me on the requested day. My advice; go with anyone else, even if they are significantly more. The hassle is just not worth it.

U-Haul messed up my reservation. Instead of a 26' truck at 8 AM at the Campbell location for 9 hours, I got a 20' truck at 1 PM at Curtner for 6 hours. they called me around 11 to say that they found me a truck - I got there 10 minutes later and they had given it away. And they didn't have the appliance dolly I reserved, so I had to go to Home Depot and rent one from them for $25. Your online "pick up my truck" doesn't work. at all.

Air conditioner did not work, and driver side door did not close right, there was a crack one tweet the door and the vehicle. It felt like it was going to open when driving. I noticed it more on the freeway after I left. I was still charged the full amount, and the prices are ridiculously expensive
