I am being charged 97.20 for a day rental of a van and I didn’t use the whole 100 miles I reserved for and I’m still being charged 97.20 and no one seem to understand what’s going on. And no one answering the candler rd location phone

After waiting in line for an hour at uhaul, I was then told I was at the wrong pickup location. I was confused because the location was the same as the one on my receipt, but I was told that I had received a text update. I only received the email to show my updated location at 5:30 pm, which was after I returned my uhaul, I picked it up at 10am. I then had to wait another hour at the next uhual to get that truck. Because locations were changed on me without permission, I occurred increased costs because I now had to drive farther away. Will not be using your services again.

I got there at 7:50am when I walked in eight people was in line. It took until 10:00 to get to the counter. The truck I got was not in drivable condition. The power steering was not working which made it a disaster turn when moving slowly. The truck was do back at 3:45 I returned to the lot at 3:20. The young lady had a horrible attitude she was supposed to move the trucks forward but wanted the customers to do it while she stood outside. By the time she checked the truck it was aell after 4:00 she tried to charge me for and extra day. I explained that I didn't owe any extra money because I was here on time. It was only four people in line and shouldn't have taken that long. She told me I still had to pay it tjen she rudely walked off. The blonde hair lady heard her and she had to remove it and then she said The young lady said she doesn't know why she walk around with an attitude all the time. She thinks because she's young you can do that.

The terminal kept crashing so we could not swipe my card. It took forever to get the truck bc of that. Not to mention I was supposed to have a truck via mobile pick up at another location and they didn’t check it in, so I couldn’t check it out. My truck was wet when we got it to the house, there was a hole in the roof. The check engine light was on. Then the door wouldn’t shut when we were done unloading. I have to my movers for two extra hours due to the fiasco. Worst U-Haul experience ever.

Staff was great, the system sucks!!! I reserved a trailer at one location, got a text to pick it up at a different location nearby, and when I shouted up they didn't have it. I got a different one and the process was so cumbersome it took 45 minutes. The staff was great, really excellent and polite. The hoops they have to jump through to take my money are absurd.

Give them some help on the first of month! Make sure the person that handle the returns have a phone he can see. Terrible service. I will never ever never go back to that location. Then they try to over charged me. The truck was due back at 2. I was park and in line at 1:50. It took them so long to cash me out then I was late. The manager had to leave. Unbelievable! Great to have this survey.

Awful experience, truck was in horrible shape. Dirthy inside and out. Rode as if we were on a rubberball, the truck’s front bumper was partially detached, as if it had been in an accident. The truck was not clean inside the cab nor was it clean on the outside. Was very disappointed in this rental experience.

Customer service was HORRIBLE. I arrived to pick up the key to the truck since I used the truck share 24/7 option and there were literally 12 people in line. I waited 15 minutes as there was 1 cashier working with 1 customer during my time at the store. He did not acknowledge anyone or say that I will be with you shortly. I went up to the counter, bypassed the line, and was given my key and I left the store. Inspected the exterior of the truck and got in and left the premises. Upon returning the truck, a man performed inspection and asked me how the truck drove. I let him know that the steering wheel was too loose and the back was dirty with dry red clay. He thanked me for letting him know. Some lady came out the store and said “you need to mop that truck.” I said, “Excuse me??” We then start arguing, she saying that I returned it dirty so I’m liable and me telling her that she should have done her job and make sure that the person that returned it was held liable. I asked for my receipt and left. Worst experience ever...

Customer Service Representative at this location was very rude and rushing me off. However the guy was very kind when I told him the tired was low he helped me quickly versus the lady like just switch her truck

Very dissappointed! I placed a reservation online for locations that coincided with my desired time and and truck size. A confirmation email was received, as well. The very next day, about a half hour before my pickup time, a Uhaul rep calls to inform me that my reservation was all set and ready to go for 11am. The problem is, I needed the truck for 10am. She also advised me that my location has been changed due to no trucks being available. She changed my time back to 10a (per my request) and sent me somewhere else. The rep told me that the new location would be open at 10a. I drive over there only to discover that they don't actually open until Noon. I got the same rep on the phone, she called the place of business to find out their hours and then she sends me to a 3rd location. By this time, it's about 10:10a. The new location is 5 minutes away. When I get there, there's only one person working inside, 3 people in front of me and a wait time of 45 min before I was assisted. The rep did what she could to ease my inconvenience but the overall experience was stressfull and frustrating. My location was changed. My truck size was changed... And my reservation time ended up being changed, as well. It was the cause of a lot of things going wrong, timewise, throughout the day... I wasn't happy at all!

My truck was horrible. I had a blowout and the mechanic said that I had a total of 3 bad tires. The truck should have never been taken out of service. This delayed my trip by 5 hours and caused me to pay more money

I suggest that you hire an additional agent during the morning shift. When I arrived, it took approximately one hour to be serviced because the agent was working three computers as well as checking in vehicles. After obtaining my rental everything worked great.

The checkout process takes forever, even with the automated checkout, because that rarely works. The problem may be UHaul rather than the location. I hope I never have to do business with UHaul again.

The line was extremely long and there was only one employee that was knowledgable about the computer system. The computer system keep freezing and cause additional wait time. The female employee that was working at 11:30 am on Saturday, 4/27/2019, was extremely helpful and professional. She was working diligently without a break to assist customers. The yard person additionally worked extremely hard. I was completely disgusted with the 2 HOUR wait. This is unacceptable and I will be expressing this on Social Media. I will NEVER use this location or company for that matter again.

It's not just this location. The online and in-person check in process is EXTREMELY slow at every location I've been to. On this rental I was charged an inappropriate cleaning fee. I left the truck clean.

Check all gauges to make sure they're accurate. I was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas and I didn't noticed until I left the lot it was empty. I had to go immediately and put gas in the truck which brought it to a 1/4 tank.

This is the worst Uhaul office I have ever used. If you look up my phone number you will see that I rent over 15 Uhaul's a year. I am a Real Estate investor so I get trucks to move out furniture to storage or dump etc. I went to this location twice. SMH. First visit they charged me for an extra day for being late when I was 1 hour early. The lazy guy outside said drop the keys. Y'all good. Come to find out, he did not process the return until one hour after our return time. Leading to an extra charge which I disputed with my credit card because I called the manager 4 times and got no response. The employees would take the message but I did not get a call back. I provided my credit card company with the gas reciept showing I filled the Uhaul back up immedately before returning as folk commonly do. Second nightmare is the one you are now requesting feedback. The younglady trainee was poorly trained and desperately needed supervision. She was trying hard but, my patience was slim due to having 3 workers on the clock awaiting the truck to do my move. She took 25 min to finally call the manager who was out getting a truck from another place. I had to wait for her to come and show the younglady how to complete my order. I had to pay my workers for sitting around at UHaul. I get the truck. The younglady can't find the truck. She has to put my blankets and dolly in the truck. whole thing about 45 min. I rudely say close this truck. I gotta go. I am a comedienne. I am never rude but this is costing me time & money. Also I use the Uhaul on Covington Highway all the time and I never ever go thru any of ths madness. They have the truck. They are professional. It is an awesome experience. These folk on Candilier Road act like they are Volunteering not working. The RETURN: I immediately pull in the lot, I tell the manager the truck engine was so hot that it slightly burned my leg. I had to let one of my workers drive because I can not injure my leg again. I was in wound care for 5 months June 30-Oct which ended in Surgery. I did not add the worker on the insurance but the heat was abnormal. She states they are all like that. I know this is a lie because I have never experienced such heat. I know the engine is right thier but the heat is coming thru a whole somewhere. It needs to be checked. She clearly was ignoring my very valid concern. She makes me jump back in the truck I just complained about the heat on my very fragile leg to check her brakes, signal etc. I mention this is my first experience with this. She says this is common practice. ?? I just rented from UHaul Fulton Industrial they did not do that (770)572-4075. So I realize that nothing I said would be addressed. She tells me 4 blankets are missing from the truck. I said Charge me for them. I am not waiting around any further I have men on the clock. I have already lost $50 in salary waiting in the begining. She said she still could not check me out until I bring them back. Bizarrre.. I had t

Upon arrival to retrieve my rental, I ordered an appliance dolly, which is what was listed on my rental contract. When I returned the truck, I was also charged for a utility dolly that I did not use and that the tab was not broken for. When picking up my truck, I requested one of the newer, Ford models, which I have had a positive experience with in the past. I was told very rudely and very sternly by the general manager “No!”. I let it go because I was in a rush, but in turn, I received one of the older GMC models. The truck had an issue with the fuel gauge and when pointed out to the same GM, Crystal Johnson, She replied “we know these rucks have faulty gas gauges .” I was charged $17 for a refueling fee, even though the gas was replaced to slightly above the initial level (jus to be safe due to the faulty gauge). I returned the truck the same night that I rented it, but the location was closed. I had several issues with the website when trying to check myself in, including the website telling me that I would be charged $152, even though I’d already been charged an initial fee of $108 and that amount had already been taken from my bank account. The website also said I was being charged for a dolly I did not use, so I decided to drop he key in the box and call in the morning without completing the online check in. When I tried to call the next morning, I sat on hold for an hour and. Half before going to the location. The manager was very rude, unprofessional and didn’t do much try and rectify the situation. My wife had to greater to call corporate before she refunded me the money for the dolly I didn’t use and she REFUSED to look at the photo that I’d taken of the gas hand the night before o PROVE that the gas was back at the correct level. The maintenance tech pulled the truck back around so that I could verify the level and even he tasted that the fuel was at the correct level, but then tried to recant after talking to the manager privately. She then stormed out to the truck and tried to dispute it again. I have photos to corroborate my story and prove that she is a complete unprofessional and a liar. It seems as if she’s trying to run a nickel & dime operation and squeeze every penny she can out of customers. When I was in the store with my wife the second time to dispute the charges, she was trying to get an elderly couple to rent a larger sized truck they repeatedly said that they did not need, along with pressuring them to get it for an extra day! When the elderly woman, said she didn’t need it, the manager, Crystal, yelled at her “Well, what you gon’ do!?” The only reason I didn’t step in was because the elderly husband stepped in and handled it and they ended up getting the truck they wanted/needed. Crystal seems to be trying to pad her numbers of “unsuspecting” customers to get a quarterly bonus and she's finally getting called out. i had the worst experience anyone could have. I had went to location that no longer is there(they had moved all the furniture out and everything, the phone number no longer worked. Then the manager at Candler rd location is real nasty to women and sweet on the men. I had to call 1800uhaul number several times before i got the service i was paying for. WORST EVER I WON'T BE RETURNING.They never have enough trucks, and the sad thing is I reserved it online.

I reserved a truck at your memorial dr location and after standing in line for almost one hour then the rep told me they didn't have a truck for me. I asked for the manager and he was rude and told the that I must have booked the reservation that morning which was not true. then I booked a reservation at Candler rd for Monday and when I went to get the truck the person at the counter said she was new and it took a long time to get the truck because she just did not no what she was doing. Then when I got the truck the gas level was almost empty when my contract said it had a quarter of a tank and they could not get it changed on my contract. Also, I asked for the number for the regional manager at Memeriol dr and they gave me customer service number. My name is Johnny Woods and I would like to talk to the regional manager. The staff is great here and there just understaffed they need at least perhaps maybe one or more extra Personnel to handle the amount of customers that may show up at any given time. The wait time was approximately 22 minutes once again the customer service is excellent it's just that we have to wait due to the fact that the location is understaffed and reference to renting a vehicle

Crystal of the Candler Road store was very rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. She displayed very poor customer service skills. She required me to use Uhaul’s insurance rather than my own. I explained to her that I had my own insurance and used it the previous month at this same location. She then said that “They did not follow the correct procedure”. I told her that I would be filing a complaint for her unprofessional behavior.

Give Crystal a raise. Crystal the customer service representative was friendly and curious. She knew the equipment and made the experience as stressless as possible. It was a pleasure to have her take care of our needs and also recommend things to make our moving experience go smoothly.

The attendant was very friendly but she was over worked and had no help. The average wait time was a minimum of 30 minutes even if you already had a reservation. Uhaul now allows vendors to do their business for them and this has drastically and negatively impacted quality. Even with my reservation I had to go to three different locations before I finally got my truck. Very unhappy with uhaul.

The managers should be relieved from her job. She schedule to people on the day where there's an installation to be done. The technician had to keep stopping to take care other business and it took 8 hours to put trailer hitch and wire harness on my vehicle. When I left the store my vehicle broke down in the middle of the highway. I hope that you'll take care this so no one else has the same issues, that I'm happen to me.

It's a busy location, so expect a wait. Additionally, I was charged for fuel eventhough I returned the vehicle with the correct amount of fuel. Check for this before you leave the lot. It will save you time and money.

No one came out to walk around the truck with me to inspect the truck..check engine light was on from the time I started the truck and returned it. the gas level wasn’t where the contract indicated. I went back inside the store and informed employees and was told it was fine and to simply full the gas back at the line that is showing the actual gas level. The cargo area was leaking rain water and caused my furniture to be soaking wet. I stopped the move by taking the furniture to my mothers garage because I couldn’t take it to my place wet...I called and complained with customer service. I was told before my card will be charged I will receive a call from the location. However I didn’t get a call instead I received an email with an attached receipt of full charges... now I’ll have to have my furniture cleaned and rent another truck to take it home. This is unacceptable and poor contains and quality for U-Haul I have never had this happen with U-Haul and I’m very disappointed.. to add I called customer service this morning and was informed that the rep I spoke with yesterday evening didn’t even bother to put in my complaint. Thank Goodness I was able to talk to Margaret Olds who took the time to create a complaint and provided me with the reference number

First I got a call the night before saying that my truck would not be available at the time/location that I originally booked so they sent me to a farther location. Then I showed up at my scheduled pick up time but had a wait an hour in line only to find out my truck wasn't there and they said it must have been stolen the night before. They had to give me a smaller truck. The entire place was chaotic. There were three people working trying to multitask on various customers which just took more time then them just focusing on their individual customers. Also the system was down/slow which didn't help things. So in the end, I showed up an hour late to my movers who still charged me $150 and I had to make multiple trips (some without my movers) since I had a smaller truck. I will NEVER EVER use Uhaul again.

Our original reservation was for a different location and a larger truck but due to overbooking we were told there wasn’t a truck in that size available. In fact there weren’t any trucks available at that location. After they hung up on us, we called back and then they helped us find a location that at least had a smaller truck. This location was great, even with how busy they were, we were helped quickly and on time.

more staff is needed. The lady that was helping me tried her best but it was literally an hour before i received my keys and i had a reservation

I feel very comfortable renting my trucks from this location. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with answering any questions I have. I appreciate the professionalism that I received from any U-Hail representatives at the Candler Rd. Location.
