ANGER! That's how I feel! I had a $50 "credit" for being a VIP from the GM at the other store on 43rd Ave & Camelback. I told the girl at pickup, she said call in the morning and talk to Donnell. I left a HUGE note in the dash. She calls me to tell me that the card was run BEFORE she saw my note, that means she did NOT even check my mileage, they just ran the card without looking in the truck! But then why did she call me first? She went round for 30 minutes on the phone, saying she didnt see the note, then she did, she applied the credit to the $62, yet the charge was still $62, I was so frustrated. Working on a construction crew in the heat and she did not make any sense. She said I needed to talk to Donnell, he was not there and then he was... then put me on hold for Donnell (GM). He talked again all around, I once again explained the situation, the email never came to me, she said they could call her. He told me I HAD TO call the other store and figure it out, so I did, on hold for over 20 minutes... HE CALLED HER.. after telling me I had to.. much time wasted during my work hours! She got on the phone and said everything was good, he fixed the bill.... WELL I review my account tonight and he NEVER refunded the $50. I need someone to refund me the $50 due. You may call me tomorrow for the specific name of the GM who gave me the credit. I have a copy of my UHAUL expenses and let me tell you, you made a lot from me recently! 4-29 $9.80 4-30 $21.64 6-6 $13.42 5-16 36.83 6-26 $22.64 6-28 $67.03 (Should have been decreased to $17.03) 6-28 $57.00 7-2 $9.75 7-5 $40.20 That is quite a few uhauls for a person to use who was just moving locally. I am loyal to uhaul. I could use anyone and some are actually cheaper when you count in your mileage cost hike lately. SOMEONE needs to call me!! I make a nice comment on google about my uhaul experience and was rewarded for it and now I am fighting for that reward for being kind.. explain this to me please! How sad. Pickup was good but drop off was horrible. Susie provided horrible customer service. I just got done moving an apartment by myself and the last thing I wanted to do is argue with somebody. Instead of getting to the bottom of what I was telling her she assumed I was lying and wanted to charge me for things that I should not have been charged per the conversation I had when I picked up the truck. It was very frustrating and disappointing for the level of customer I received. I asked Susie not to close out my account, she closed out my account anyways and changed my card. I would not recommend that kind of customer service to anyone. Not after moving which is stressful in itself.

Highway Robbery! Used the truck for 45 minutes, employees were very kind but U haul, was charging me a ridiculous amount for gas!! Staff handle it well though , I just feel it was highway Robbery I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again, hope I never need too

I used online to make my reservation and as I did my check in, i was prompted to check in with the counter to receive my keys. Upon checking the keys one of the clerks made me feel very uncomfortable , she was a younger , african american woman who expressed that I shouldn't have got the truck because the customer she was helping out was there first and made me feel like i shouldn't have got the equipment because I came after the customer she was assisting and arguing back and forth with the manager (Brad Issac) who then treated me very well, helped me to my truck and ensured everything was all set and also helped me check back in when i was returning the truck. I did not appreciate that other counter clerk for her behavior , or how she treats customers. I understand i came after her customer did but i also had my reservation set up way earlier

100% rotten experience..... woman phoned me on Sat from Uhaul and advised the address I chose did not have the trailer I rented... sent me to 19th Ave ( not 10 min away, rather 50 min away ). Arrived on Mon to pick up and they didn't have the trailer - sent me to another place - that place didn't have my trailer - sent me to another place.....the next place told me they had one but it was stolen over night..... literally the 5th location had a trailer but it was larger than what I had rented ( rented a 5x8, got a 6x12 ). The pick up req'd 4 hours of run around. The moron at the 5th and final place told me they didn't have my trailer either - the one in the yard was reserved - I was exacerbated and said the last place called and said you had one available - to that she asked my name and then said "Oh, you are the one who its reserved for"..... can't make this up.

This location provided good service. The following is recommended to Uhaul as a general comment for all rentals at all locations. Sanitize the cab of all rentals at all locations before renting out! It is amazing the amount of dirt that is on the steering wheels, arm rests, seatbelts, etc.

My initial reservation location did not have the vehicle I needed. It took around five of them to void my reservation and find me another truck the process there was an hour. The process at the new reservation was less than 10 minutes. Ridiculous!

Not sure what his name was but the man who helped me was so nice and friendly! I had put in a reservation for a smaller truck, but it was unavailable (flat tire) when I got there - instead of making me drive to another location he gave me a larger truck for the same price as the small one! And helped me set up a new drop off location. Really quick and painless, can't recommend enough! :)

reserved trail at different location went to pick up, had to go to the location on record. rented and returned trailer was charged $56.plus, Quote was $26. original agreement was for 6 hrs. at first location and assumed that was same. nope now Iam told it was for 4, wish I would have been aware of this I would have never rented for 4 hrs. need to thank you, Iam proud owner of a nice trailer!!

I recently loaded a U-Box on February 6th with a guaranteed arrival date by February 24th and access on February 26th after I loaded my U-Box the dates changed to March 4th which is a week later because they said it was a trucker's holiday so instead of paying me the $50 a day for it being late they changed my whole reservation to arrive later U-Haul will have my stuff for a month when they say it would only take 17 days at the most and now everyone I talk to keeps giving me the runaround.

I came in for a specific truck or van and yet I got a 20 footer which I really didn't need. I asked about the two cargo vans that are displayed in the front and I was told that they weren't available. The employee told me that one of them was used in a robbery, so I asked about the other one and was told that I couldn't take that one either. She was either trying to make a sell or was lying to me. If there's a vehicle that's under police investigation, it shouldn't be displayed in front of the establishment as though it were available, it should be impounded.

The poor GM seems to be running that place all by herself! Get her some help! She handled it like a champ, but if there was more than just me there, she'd be ignoring other customers to help me out. Her other employees were around and helpful too, but seemed very much "at capacity".

Sigh! I keep trying to do business with U-Haul hoping it will be a better experience than the last, but unfortunately I have been disappointed every time. This time I was not told I could return the trailer without using the remote on line process (this process really sucks to say the least) so I returned the next morning to and the office did not open at 9 am as it was supposed to. Just a cluster...had to call the manager to get things straightened out and it was a waste of several hours of my day.
