Employee said that the gas was 1/2 full when we picked up the uhaul. It only had slightly above 1/3 of a tank. Food was left in the cab and a pillow or two. The vehicle radio didn't work as well.EMBERLY P.
Take current photos of damage and missing paint on rental truck. I received a text message after i rented a truck asking if contested the condition of the vehicle. It did not show the dents on the driver's side of the box, the flaking/missing paint on the hood, the punched out door lock that had been repaired on the passenger side. From the photos Uhaul sent, you think the truck had no damage. I hope this was not a ploy to charge unsuspecting renters for preexisting damages if they do not respond to the text message. And the truck had less than a quarter tank of fuel when rented, so my first stop had to be the gas pump.THOMAS G.

I had reserved a 15" UHAUL truck from the Auburn, WA location about 3 weeks prior to reservation date of 12/18/21. On drive to Auburn from our home (appx 2 hours away), I reserved a call from Megan, Auburn UHAUL, stating the truck we were to use had not been returned yet. She had arranged for a 15' truck for us to use from the Tacoma UHAUL Center. We went to the Tacoma UHAUL Center and picked up the truck. I am so thankful that arrangements were made for another truck for us to use. We would have been in a real situation as our son and his wife needed to be moved out of their apartment. It was an inconvenience as it increased our mileage and time quite a bit. Having to return truck to Tacoma and then travel back up to Seatac to pickup family from SEATAC airport definitely extended our day. However, both Megan, Auburn, and the UHAUL rep in Tacoma, worked with us to provide us a credit and better mileage rate for this inconvenience. I definitely appreciate UHAUL's communication and handling of this situation and will be a returning customer!Marilyn E.

The person at the front desk was helpful. My experience there was as expected. My concern is that while the overall trip mileage is what it is, I felt that there should be more mileage included in the pricing without an extra charge for destinations. While it may all be the same in the end, multiple charges do not make much sense. The vehicle was a standard issue for U-Haul. The addition of a backup camera is a nice touch. I am slightly confused as to why cruise control is not a standard in vehicles. The use of cruise control ensures fuel efficiency and prevents varying speed rates.JOSHUA C.

In spite of having g a reservation, my equipment was not available at the center I made a reservation at. I had to drive across town into a very busy area to pickup a trailer without a loading ramp and still had to pay the full price. Once again, the U-Haul computer app is less than worthless and I should have just called. If you continue to use the computer program for scheduling, I will take my business elsewhere. It has caused a problem EVERY TIME.Neil F.

The only issue I had, The trucks tires did not seem to be in good condition. I drove it about 83 miles from Tacoma, Washington to Hoquiam, Washington and it was pouring rain. The truck seem to hydroplane more then most other rentals I've had with U-Haul? I felt a little bit unsafe driving this particular vehicle, especially in the torrential downpour we had. Also I was not able to take the vehicle up my driveway because the tires were spinning? The last U-Haul I had rented had no problem getting up my driveway. So maybe I would recommend that the vehicles tires are checked for safety.CHANTEL S.

My uhaul was stolen off the lot. The manager at this location was extremely unprofessional and quite frankly rude. When I expressed my frustrations she proceeded to shout at me. I would highly advise against this location solely based on management. It took over a month to sort out the stolen, and eventually recovered uhaul. I was charged over $1600 to my account with out my consent. It was later refunded because uhaul made a mistake. Absolutely terrible experience.BROOKE K.

I didn't figure it out quickly enough, but here's the situation: The truck had a hole that had been drilled in the gas tank. Worse, the hole had been drilled through a patch, so apparently this had happened to this truck (and others on this lot?) before. There was a sheen on the ground, and the gauge was lower (by half) than the photo (presumably from the night before), so I checked with the employee about a potential oil leak. Fast forward to the gas station, 40 miles away, where I'm on the ground looking at the gas tank and the hole has been drilled. I spent the next four hours on the phone getting a new truck. Everyone was polite and moved me to the next person, but the entire situation was preventable.GREG DEE W.

The associate that â€œhelpedâ€ me was unfriendly and rude. When I arrived he walked out the door (passing me walking in) without saying anythingâ€¦. There was a late delay of three hours for the truck rental. This location notified me the night before, then confirmed early the morning of the rental that the truck would be ready three hours late. Check in was relatively painless. Curiously, even though I and my son are both clearly old enough to drive, we were required to provide the number of a third family member to verify that it was okay for me to rent the truck. Why?
