Very poor experience. The tucks alligment was off. When we called to get service I was hung up and called again. Once the tech arrrived (wonderful person) we had waited a significant amount of time. The performed the repair onsite which took him about an hour. Overall the truck condition and the situation was a very poor experience.

I love doing business with UHaul The upper level executive management at Uhaul are doing an outstanding job...and it flows down to the dealer level as well as the consumer level experience. Thank you! so clearly the management knows know their business and do such a good job providing the support in making the experience so positive. One of the things I love about the experience is the worry free inexpensive insurance. I love the modifications to the truck added and notes added around the vehicle that provide guidance and comfort. I love the ramp and dolly, saves my back. Love the note in the Side mirror that tells you your clearance. I’m a CPA so I’m used to being part of the executive team. And what I perceive is that the management has continued to review and refine the experience for the customer to a high level and for a long period of time. Thus the experience is way beyond adequate... it’s outstanding. Wish we had management like that where I work. Continue doing what you do and thank you again!

The U-Haul staff I dealt with were friendly & professional. It was easy to make a reservation over the phone & even with a slightly different pick -up time which was later than I originally had asked for (my change). I was able to still get the vehicle when I required it. I would recommend U-Haul to anyone looking at renting a vehicle or anything else moving related.

My original reservation was for the Milpas location. When I arrived my truck was not there. They referred me to the state street location which did not have my reservation either. They told me I was supposed to pick up at Milpas. In the end I had to drive over to Hollister but was very impressed and satisfied with their service.

Abel and all the guys, as always, are great! I know a lot of people go in and complain, or do so online. I rent about once every two months at this location, and the staff are always great.

I tried to refuel back to the original fuel level just before the returning deadline. I read the manual, and it says that one should use diesel. However the diesel nozzle won’t fit in. Finally when I return to U-Haul without refueling, my wife told me that it should use gasoline. It turned out that the Manuel is a wrong one! This results in $30 service fee! Just for a 1/16 tank of fuel! Very bad experience.

I was appalled at your policy of storing sensitive information for customers. I reserved online and had to enter my credit card number along with exp. date and CVC along with billing information, and my drivers license number, birth date and expiration. Then when I came into the store the personnel took a photograph of the front and back of my drivers license and I had to put my credit card in the store machine. When asked what happens with all this data the person said it was stored but that he could not access it. THIS IS CRAZY. Beside the point that you had me enter information twice - into different systems (?) I use UHaul maybe once every 5 years - there is no reason your company should store my sensitive information - I do not trust that it is secure - information is breached all the time. You should not keep this information for the security risk, and if you sell any part of this information it is a breach because there was no place I could see to opt out of any of this. I especially don't like the fact that you have photographs of my licence. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS REQUEST BY DESTROYING ALL OF MY DL AND CREDIT INFORMATION that Uhaul now possesses "until the end of time." I will be telling my friends about this overreach. Why would Uhaul put themselves at this sort of risk anyway? Joy Kunz

I rented a 5x8 trailer to help us move across town. Upon arrival, I was told that my hitch was too low to the ground. This would be acceptable if I had not already used a UHaul 6x12 trailer 7 months prior to move across the country with no problem. Luckily we were able to rent a moving van that was available. We ended up spending more money than we wanted to. I am not sure I will use UHaul again due to their inconsistent policies.

The people working at this Uhaul were kind, thoughtful, and overworked from what I could see. There were not enough people on staff to handle the amount of people coming in to rent, return, and buy supplies. Also, there is a ceiling fan that needs attention. How these individuals work with it making a constant clicking sound is beyond me.

Your after hours check in sucks. I tried to check in the returning trailer the same day as I rented it on December 24th at 4:30 (after hours) and I was not able to "check in" after the web site opened up at u-haul.com/share. So, on December 26th I noticed and add $20 charge on my invoice for extra hours check-in even though I had telephoned U-Haul of the issue. The U-haul contact made a note of my on-time check-in but the $20 charge was added to my final invoice. Of course, after I noticed the added $20 charge I contacted U--Haul to request a credit for the extra $20 charge. What a pain! Help. When I went to pick up the truck in Ventura I was told that I had to drive to Santa Barbara to get it. If I was notified that I had to do this I would have cancelled my order and go elsewhere.

I called to make a reservation in the morning at 7:30 a m they called me at 10 or 11 in the morning ask me if I still need my reservation cuz it was for 7 in the morning when I clearly told the woman I spoke to on the phone I need a 3 p.m. pickup this inconvenience for me to go pick up a trailer 45 minutes out of my way I would never use U-Haul again

You could make it a little easier for old people with arthritic hips to get around. As it is, customers are required to walk around from the back to the front several times when picking up a U-Box or Car Transport. Every time I went in, my hips were killing me as I was leaving with my trailer. Several times I asked if I could use the employee door, to save myself some painful steps.

The gas gauge dropped from 1/2 as I left the site. I drove 10 miles . It was 2.5 notches below 1/2. I went straight to a gas station and the tank took 9 gallons of gas to get to 1/2 tank. I put in enough to go two notches over half and I put in a total of 30 gallons. It was sketchy to say the least. $70
