Though I drop it off the entire day before it was meant to be dropped off! I couldn’t log in to turn my truck back in horrible service out there. I took the keys into the manger to notify my problem! And that damn lady took advantage of me and ripped me off. I know Dan and everyone else at western street has never done some shady stuff like that. I’ll be having a word with you lady! Horrible lying and absolute scam artist. This location I will never recommend anyone nor will I come over here again without some sort of protection from scammers like the manger here.
Tyrel WebbWe set up the scheduled install, but when we got there they were not ready for us nor had a person on the schedule to do the install. They did a great job getting it installed, but it took all day to get it done. We were told it was on the schedule, but seemed to be a problem once we got there.
Monica MaddenDuring the process of me renting the Uhaul I understood that I had to have a reference and the worker Tun I believe is his name called my reference on spot. No problem because I know how references work. The problem I have is RACIAL PROFILING! The very next day I come to return the rental and I’m standing in line and I see Tun is working so I’m observing and 3 people were in front of me and he did not ask not 1 customer for references or call them, only emergency contact info. I actually asked one of the customers when she and her brother were leaving did he ask you for a reference of call them and they said no just an emergency contact. I do not appreciate this profiling and it made me super uncomfortable because my dollar spends the same! Very unacceptable

One of the workers said only people that did not have keys were scheduled to work, so they had to wake up someone else to open the store. That is complete management ineptitude. Besides standing outside the door for 30 minutes, everything else was fine.

Whats up with that sounds like u haul is ripping people off. Cause my invoice says everything was fine and that's from when they checked it in. So I won't be paying it and I will be calling a lawyer to handle this attempted fraud by uhaul.
Jack BilbrayU-Haul do not value the lives of your clients. I was almost killed by the 20" Van I was given for a trip from Edmonton to Katy Texas. This truck had a mileage of 122,000 Miles with rusted wheels with an auto-transporter attached to pull a SUV, and the most painful thing was that I told the attendant that this truck could not make the 35 hr road trip. He told me it had just undergone a L2 maintenance and was in top shape. Right from the beginning this truck was struggling, even before it was loaded. It was a horrible journey all through until it broke down right in the middle of the highway at around 7pm. The transmission just gave up while on a speed of about 70MPH, it JUST STOPPED. There were big trucks right behind us and they had to change lane in order not to ram us into the bushes. As it could not drive we were unable to move it totally off the road, and so had to stand by the roadside in the middle of nowhere in the freezing cold temperature trying to call U-Haul. Finally we got an agent on the phone and he was so NOT empathetic, asking us to sit in the van if we were feeling cold. Sit in a van on the high way at around 8pm where there was absolute darkness. He said a roadside assistance truck would be with us within 1 hr, nothing showed up until 2 hrs later. We took turns to watch out for coming trucks in order to warm our hands with the aide door vent. Guess what, after the 2 hrs what came was a small SUV who just came to see if truly the van had broken down. No Tow vehicle, no mechanics, just a plain guy who then called U-Haul to now book a tow vehicle. This was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. After that, he just left us the way he met us. U-Haul now said we needed to wait for a tow vehicle with an ETA of 1.5hrs, and this was now around 11.30pm in the middle of no where. Still this agent was so unempathetic. We were so cold we had started shivering and my legs/hands were going num. We finally decided to offload my SUV on the auto transporter and drove to the next town. I was booked what they called a hotel, it was the most horrible accommodation I have ever seen. The bed linens were stained, the towels were dirty and the room was smelling of cigarette, despite being a non smoking room. The washroom had stains all over and the shower was like a tap. I slept on the chair and did not take a shower to let you know how bad it was. I have the pictures and video and this would be going on social media soon, tagged U-Haul provided accommodation after van broke down. By the next morning, when I called U-Haul I was informed by van was yet to be towed from the highway. I did not leave Amarillo until about 3pm. My whole plans had been ruined because of an incompetent company ran by incompetent staff. I'll advise you think hard before going in the U-Haul especially if its a long drive. The guy that came to meet us at the scene of the breakdown said thus was a usual occurrence with U-Haul, that he was practically always out going to rescue stranded clients.
Olanshile JinaduThis whole experience was a comedy of errors. They were an hour late opening, there was a line of 7 am arrivals waiting. The van they finally gave me would not start, so they gave me an offline van with issues. It did not have fuel despite the contract saying it was full. Things happen, but nothing happened to plan on this day. Too many other options in town to risk this again.

Mark CokerOutstanding help from your staff at this location. I had a blown fuse for my taillights and your staff worked tirelessly to get me on the road with your transport trailer. My concerns about not having a spare tire were met with great concern and I was assured the tires on this trailer were the best on his lot (and they were). It was cold, nasty and late and you all made sure my equipment was ready for my trip. Not one time did I feel rushed or pressured to leave. Thank you for the quality trailer.

Your site sucks. I did this multiple times. glassbox_id "2b5209f3-5578-4e51-8ce6-ba708c33c7ce:1" * I pick up the van at 8a. I have to drive ~250 miles. My wife is waiting for me to pick up the van so I can transfer my tools. First, I am directed to where the van is supposed to be but isn't. After 15 minutes, Isaiah brings it around and informs me that 1 tire is low. We change to new van. Overall, I am 45 minutes late during which my wife had to wait for me. * I drop off the van. My daughter waits for me. It takes more than 30 minutes until I can get checked out. All in all, a very bad customer experience.

Maria is rude and condescending and so is Tun. Neither should be working there. Leadership reflects the attitude there and it shows that leadership is poor.

Robert gibsonThere were no utility Dolly's available so I had to pay extra on the spot for the appliance dolly and fortunately an employee found me one a little less rusty and squeaky than the one they were going to let me walk away with. When I was quoted a price after booking over the phone, it did not include taxes so I paid $66 more than expected. After all was done it took over an hour to sign the contract with a standing reservation. Time management, inventory control, and adequate pricing could definitely help this location in customer service. There also wasn't a manager available for further information.

It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. I will never deal with this location again. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit’s owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn’t accounted for that. Elevator goes down sometimes and delays my ability to access the unit or remove items.
