The equipment and van were in well maintained condition. But the three customer service staff were exemplary---efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, eager to make my UHaul experience as uncomplicated and unproblematic as possible. The customer service element---8:30am - 5:00pm---was excellent. Two days running. I thank all three of them.

Even though it was after closing, they helped me with my truck return. I explained my bad experience with the place I got my truck from and they were so helpful and assisted me in any way I needed. 10/10 recommend and would use them again!

Please do not cancel someone rental without consulting the customer. I was very disappointed in how the cashier(Danielle) handled the situation when I first arrived. I had called and told her we were running late she kept me on hold for several minutes and never returned back in a timely manner. She stated that there were no 15 inch trucks available but I had reserved two days prior. She said she was sorry and never tried calling customer service or looking for other solutions. My family had to ask her could something be done but I had already making calls to customer service myself. It was frightening because I needed to move that day. It was solve but it should have never occurred.

Usuall an excellent experience, but not this time. (1) Upon pre-use inspection at the Airport Blvd location, the lights on the reserved trailer were not functioning, so they had to send me to another U-haul location (Government Street) for a replacement unit.. They said they had called the Government location so they would be expecting me. When I goto there, they said they said Airport had NOT called them, and they had no idea what I was talking agout. (2) When I dropped the unit off on time at the Government Street location, and the employee said he would check it in. The next day, U-haul called me and asked when I planned to drop the unit off.

Let customers know that if you pay with a bank card you will not receive your remaining balance until bank releases it. I was told by a man my balance would be available in the next 30 min ,if not come back and he'll take care of it .They were closed when I can back . Then I called and the man told me I wouldn't receive it for 5 to 7 business days .I starved that night cause I was broke. Had they told I could've went to a teller and paid with cause. I hate Uhal will not be returning and will ask everyone I know not to return.

The person checking our truck in was very helpful. The two behind he desk were not. They were more dismissive. Told us we had to call, they did not try to help us, could not even give us he number, we had to go over the agreement to find it. Could not help with the charges on the wrong card. Overall this whole experience was terrible. The last two times I used UHaul was in Gulf Shores and those people were great.

When I arrived, the person at the desk informed me that my rental that was made over 2 months prior was invalid. He explained that the owner would not allow a week long rental, regardless of my confirmation number in email and app. He was dismissing me as a a coworker came to my rescue and she made it right. He argued with her in front of the store. I was relieved, but will not be using or referring this location.

Again second location sent to as uhaul changed my reservation drop off and I did not receive the change as I had no service. 1st uhaul drop off was friendly but sent me to this location to drop off. After pulling in and walking into the store the staff was not friendly did not speak when spoke to and looked as I woke them from a nap. One girl proceeded to walk out the door again not speaking and I asked the other girl if I was supose to follow her. Her answer was yes and proceeded to follow the other mute girl out and told her basically it would be nice if she could communicate with her customer. My whole uhaul experience was terrible. I will not be renting again.

The general manager was the only one working the day after Christmas, as another employee had called out. Despite being extremely busy with someone renting a trailer that was not operating correctly, he was very kind, patient, and accommodating and facilitatingmy return. He worked very well under pressure to ensure that all three of us customers felt attended to and appreciated.

I didn’t like the fact that I could not get the bigger unit as it is the same price I’m paying now due to not being able to access that unit the hours was not available. That was very inconvenient and my items are stuffed and I will not be able to get into the unit to get anything for me or my kids while in storage.

The access was not available at 6:45pm, despite hours being listed until 10. The office closed a few minutes early, as well, as I was unable to go into the office at 6:50 for help. Staff were friendly.

The manager, Mr. Pocase was always smiling and seemed to be in a great mood- as were the other clerks but I don’t recall their names The unit was clean and I had no issues with the climate control.

When it comes to relocating... Uhaul is your best option because of the rates and the staff willingness to help. Customer service is above and beyond. Team that worked with me at the government st. location in Mobile, AL. are hard working , reliable and as far as customer service it is above and beyond.

Re Government street, Mobile AL location. Kevin (mgr?) & Bridgette (?) were the ABSOLUTE BOMB! Though Kevin is my hero. Super, super nice. I’ve been a customer for close to 7 years. At first I had 2 HUGE units. I’m now down to one. Those 2 were awesome

The climate controlled units are in a old strip mall next to the Uhaul store. This area consistently had people coming by loitering and standing by your trailer / truck the entire time you’ll be loading / unloading. No one from the Uhaul office seem to monitor this area and definitely do not come over and ask these people to leave the area. If I would have known this would be the situation I would never have stored my things here.

My experience with U-haul this weekend was poor. I was given the run around for their error. My moving experience experience was stressful, and the company managers were not helpful in accommodating my needs due to their errors. I was extremely dissatisfied with their service. I would not recommend this company to any future movers.

The only negative was that the site was almost full and did not have the size unit I needed. I believe the lady that worked with me was named Tiffinay. She was very polite, helpful and professional. I had a very good experience because of her.

Store manager tried to over charge me. I rented a 15 foot uhaul went a total of 9 miles closed out my storage unit. When i got the bill it was for 225$! He tried to charge me for 33 gallons of gas and Refueling fee! I had to call customer service and wait on the phone for 55+ mins. Luckily the customer service was super nice friendly and got my money back. I would not trust this location!
