Overall I had a great experience. One thing to improve on is checking to insure that all lights work before returning to operating. Maybe the car dolly I first received was over looked. I did get it swapped out and everything was made right. That's all.

The two gentlemen who helped us with our UBox on 2/5 were great! The young lady on Sunday who couldn’t seem to think beyond her Starbuck’s run is the reason for my rating. She needs to learn some serious customer service skills. A customer doesn’t care if a call center messed up- they just want to know what you, the person in front of them, is going are going to do to make it right. All she could say is that it wasn’t her fault. If I use U-Haul again, I will go to a small franchise where my business is welcome and they work hard to earn it.

Particular to THIS location, I rented a car dolly. The inside rep tells me to get hooked up and check lights. The outside person, (the manager) tells me I'm good to go. An hour later, I get a call from the inside rep telling me I have the trailer on 'an invalid contract' having not paid for the rental and basically accusing me of theft of the trailer. I made a reservation via phone with a rep who recorded all my information. When I picked the trailer, everything had to be re-entered. My CC was recorded when I made the reservation! What's the point? Can they use that? No. Can we deal with it when I return? No. Can we wait a few minutes so I can get out of traffic? No. Apparently, all this is MY fault and I MUST take care of this immediately! So, here I am, blocking traffic because I am trying to get a car loaded on the trailer having to dig my CC out of my pocket because SHE didn't finish her job when I picked it up! Ridiculous!

We utilized the mobile pick up service and followed the instructions provided. What should have been a 5-10min process took 45mins. The truck assigned to us was not on the lot, but rather parked behind a fence and boxes in by other vehicles. Therefore they had to assign us another truck, gather the dollies and pads we had rented, reprint our documents etc. it was clear the employees were not properly trained.

I used the online service to rent a truck from the Hutto, TX location for Sunday at 10. I arrived, no one was available, nor was there any instructions to pick up via the website, though the website indicated as such. Lost an hour of gold time & back/forth only to be routed to the Pflugerville location. I timed several people & was late for each ... I want my hour back!

I had to take the trailer to another location because the recommended drop off location was closed till March. One would think a corporation would know if a location is closed until March before recommending it as a drop off location

My only complaint was that the staff vehicles consistently blocked our unit. Whether it was one of two white trucks or actual Uhual trucks, we were seldom able to park our vehicle next to our unit.

Trailer lights went out half way home. At first the staff thought it was my truck but after they tested the truck/trailer they found out it was the trailer. Didn't even apologize for my headache.

When I returned this truck on Monday the staff was helpful and respectful. On Sunday we left 'THE TRUCK FROM HELL', which we got from the Cedar & Jolly location in Lansing, MI, which was still full. The man on duty was less than helpful or respectful considering the nightmare we had with the other truck. Look for more on the Lansing, MI, Cedar & Jolly store and 'THE TRUCK FROM HELL'.
