I had a unit here for almost 2 years and never had any issues! The staff was always friendly and helpful!! My things were always safe and I had whole 2 bedroom apartment in there that was never damaged. If I ever need storage services again, I will go here!
Luciano Aragon | Overall ExperienceThe lighting in both units I had for years never was resolved. In the past two years I did not feel SAFE AT ALL. The office hours of operation changed and started closing at 5pm instead of 7pm, And this was huge for me because I did not pay for 24 hour access! It has been extremely difficult to get access to anybody in the office, even with the new changed hours, and I was sick of it. I’ve seen people running a business out of their unit, but never said anything. Obvious drug deals taking place on the inside, and people sleeping in a storage. I do care about our homeless population, but this location has failed with safety and not being available during times posted on the door!. This is a violation of false advertisement. I will never rent with U-Haul storage again after this experience, And I feel I should’ve been compensated for never having lighting in my units for several years when they claimed there was an outage.

adam ShabenasI reserved a storage unit in advance to unload my truck after a long-distance move from several states away. I checked on and confirmed my reservation the morning of check-in even. I got to the facility and was informed that they didn't have any storage units available and I would need to go to a facility across town in the opposite direction of my new home. The gentleman that assisted me was polite, but the whole thing was absolutely ridiculous and poor form on Uhaul's part. I drove for 2 days and expected my unit to be available, it should have been. I still don't understand why I was able to reserve a unit that didn't exist or why Uhaul would sell the unit out from under me without letting me know.

Jesus RosarioThe return location was not open for the return (it was after hours so this was expected) but there was no gate code given in advance and when I reached out to customer service, the code provided did not work. They could not get a code that worked and I had no where to park a 26ft truck overnight. The next day there was no one in the office when the office said it would I be open. It was inconvenient and disappointing.

I feel the indifference and mockery for not speaking English. In fact, this last time I rented the van, they overcharged me and I decided not to rent uhaul anymore because they have lousy customer service. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Philip PelleWe’ve noticed in the last year or so that the upkeep has not been the same. We always had to search for a cart and sometimes would not find one. The elevator buttons are missing. We had to use a key or pen to push the button. We have never liked how we have to get out of our car to use the code to open the gate. And we did not want to pay more for a remote to keep up with. We never saw any employees except for the day we cleaned our storage unit out. A guy with a cart was sure to tell us we could not leave a broken frame. We knew that, we had to set it down to bring our cart full down and get a broom.

I had a horrible time getting into the facility (locked gate) or leaving. Fortunately, another customer in a storage unit let me in and out with the truck after the black male finally gave me the keys and called me a “white idiot”.

I observed them fix alot of problems for the customers on the phone when visiting the facility even when the customer is upset. They always try to resolve any problems before they get blown up. I've spoke with the manager Danielle and it's been a week and I am still waiting for this to be resolved. Poor mileage record keeping of this kind is not a way to handle business and no follow up after is even worse.

I en up taking my own dolly. Office staff said they were all stolen or broken with no time frame to replace. Not a great ending.

I was not informed that there was a time limit for the link. I was on hold with your customer service for over 35 minutes waiting to talk to someone . When I told them about my situation and that I had tried uhaul .com to turn the truck in . They still wanted me to try again instead of taking care of them problem . No uhaul .com would not let turn in the truck.. You should have a separate key pad with a code to type in at your location when returning trucks after closing hours and to record your return time.

Jacinto GonzalezI have had non-stop issues since the day I made the reservation until today when I returned the final item. From rude workers/staff, incorrect information, being told they didn't receive equipment after it was returned, scheduling two different locations (in sererate cities)at the same time on the same day for picking up different equipment, being told i couldnt return because they didnt expect it on that day, etc...🙄 is just SOME of what I've had to deal with in the past month since the reservation was made. It has been absolutely ridiculous!! Way too expensive for this type of hassle and amount of stress. Truck was in good shape and trailer worked well at least, however...again, way too expensive for this level of stress.
Lori ThurmanWhile the individual locations performed well, my experience of U-Haul as a corporation was entirely unacceptable. I received a phone call with less than 24 hours notice that the vehicle that I had reserved weeks in advance, a 15 foot truck, was unavailable. Instead, the only vehicle in my entire city was a 26 foot truck, a vehicle that I was entirely uncomfortable with operating in the tight confines of the city I was traveling to. After spending two hours on the phone, I had to spend three additional hours the day before my move driving to another city to acquire a vehicle smaller that the one I reserved. The fact that my reservation was not honored is not acceptable. The moving vehicle is the cornerstone of a major move, and to be told the day beforehand that it was unavailable threw my entire moving plan into chaos.

I had reserved a first floor none climate controlled unit only to find out after driving in from out of state that it wasn’t available. I was told they only had a climate controlled unit which was obviously more expensive. The climate controlled unit wasn’t really necessary for me but I really had no choice at that point. I appreciate that they give you the first month free but with all the issues with truck rental followed by the storage unit I reserved being unavailable I wouldn’t recommend u-haul to anyone.

I then called the main office and spoke with a woman and she also confirmed the space was large enough for 2 trucks. When my drivers arrived the parking lot was crowded and difficult to maneuver and the space was barely enough to fit 1 truck. I called the main office again and was told the dimensions are misleading and the lot it too tight and they should really update their information. The reservation was cancelled and we were promised a refund.
