Richard GThe truck i rented had an ABS light turn on not 20 minutes after I rented the truck, the brakes were in very poor working condition to where the pedal needed to be all the way down before the truck would start slowing down, the wheel bearing were grinding making for a very uncomfortable drive, and on top of that i had a flat tire, waited almost 4 hours for the roadside assistance to come out and replace the tire. After getting the tire replaced it blew out in exactly 17 miles due to the replacement tire having dry rot, which caused me to have to contact roadside assistance again and they came out after another hour. The normal commute is one hour and fifteen minutes, it took me seven and a half hours due to faulty tires on the rental.

Mahros AThe only issue that I had was related to rented furniture pads. I included in my order and confirmed with the location several days ahead. I was assured they would be waiting with my order. When I picked up the truck only a handful were available. I had to scramble to get them elsewhere ahead of the movers arrival. Uhaul needs a tracking system for commuted supplies as well as their moving equipment. The people working at this location are top notch. The best I have experienced at any location.

James EThey charged me over 400 dollars to rent a 15 foot truck for 2 days. They lied about the mileage. Said I went 40 miles when I only went 16 miles. They charged my card for more then the quote was. Called them and they where very rude and hung up on me.

tara FI rented a storage unit December 30th and moved out February 2nd. I paid for another month and only used it 4 days. The general manager would not pro-rate and give me some of the rent back. They should help out people that don't make a lot of money from work. I had moved into a place and could have used the extra money back for groceries.
Laura A | Overall ExperienceSomeone tied a string to the windshield wiper. Of course, I didn't notice it. It started raining 🌧 me & my mom had to pull over because we couldn't see. It was dark, and the wiper wasn't wiping the rain away. It was scratching the window. It was late, and we had to wait 2 hours for the roadside assistant guy to even find a replacement wiper blade.
BRANDY H | Overall ExperienceMy truck wasn't safe. I had to call roadside assistance because the windshield wiper was tied on with a string and was missing a blade. The wiper scratched the windshield and we had to pull over because it was raining and the wiper wasn't wiping the window. It was scratching it. We had to wait for hours for roadside to locate a replacement wiper since it was after hours. It was dark and raining so there was no way to safely drive to my destination. I would suggest reiterating to employees to fully inspect trucks before releasing to customers.
BRANDY HIt is wrong that rent can't be prorated and partial payment reimbursed if you move out there days after making a payment for the month. Their only in it to take peoples money.
Laura AI had to replace the wiper blades during my 1,200 mile trip after not being able to see out the windshield during bad weather. Still waiting for a reimbursement from UHaul.

Norman MWheel bearing cover was missing and someone put a hose clamp with tape over the opening with the clamp over the bearing so that allowed bearing grease to fly out all over the wheel. This is a must to have repaired so that someone utilizing this trailer will not have bearing issues when it heats up from no lubricant.

chris pFirstly, I was charged $22 for gas when I returned it at exactly 3/16 a tank which is what it was given to me as. It’s pretty crappy for them to give someone a truck with that little fuel in the first place. Won’t be using Uhual again.
John GProvide a receipt with amount charged and amount paid. Your records reflect nothing. Your communications are horrible. Both pick up and drop off as well as equipment was exactly as I expected and were great. Your online reservation system is horrible. And you should be able to provide itemized receipts.

They come out in the daylight that’s something. I had some other bad experiences which I have shared each time with you. My honest opion is that I should have been compensated for some of what I went through. I finally left because after my stuff got wet ( your ceiling needs fixing, anyone can see that)., I moved to another storage I was charged a higher price than my previous one after I specifically asked that I be out in one the same price. I can say that the manager was always kind when I spoke with him. I’m not going to continue on with anything bad. Things need to change though. People look for resolutions not I’m sorry. On a good note, that young lady who helped us yesterday was amazing!!! I watched her as she did her work she just was so wiling and happy to do it. She was so nice her customer service surpasses any I have seen in recent years! Because of her I have hope for uhaul. She has a joy as she works she was cleaning out the trailer and I could see her joy! Lance the physical place needs work! I do appreciate your kindness. Below average because of the facilities!!!

Basically the whole storage unit had molded and mildewed. Although I bought all kinds of DampRid moisture observer that was recommended buy A AHaul manager who assist assisted me. I tool out an insurance policy that also was also recommended by the same UHual manager! Bad part about it! USUALLY said they are not responsible for the damages on all the items in the storage! Wtf! How sorry of an establishment! I WILL #NEVER TELL NOR REFER ANYONE TO UHaul! I am hiring my lawyer on this one! Bet that!

I made a reservation at your Milam and eastern location 2 weeks before move and went to confirm, they had no units available in the 10x25. Did another reservation through corporate offices, went there this past Saturday and no reservation for me, even though both reservations were confirmed with a reservation number. Last minute I had to rent 2 units at the eastex location. The experienced was horrible. The Milam st location needs some serious help both in staff, attitude and organization. The Eastex location were wonderful. Took them only about 15 minutes to get me the units.

Not only did I get countless late fees added to my account even though they told me every month they would move my payments to the first, and the employees were rude every single time I tried to speak with them, but we also now have roaches in all of our moving boxes. On top of that, I paid and cancelled my storage June 1st and was given until the end of the month to get my stuff, but They put a lock on my storage and tried saying I couldn’t get my stuff until I paid for July 1st. The only thing that saved Uhaul’s reputation for me was the corporate customer service that helped me get my money back and were so kind to me, and dedicated to help my experience be better.
