These folks on Zimalcrest Drive always go above and beyond in customer service. We have used U-Haul over the years and have consistently returned to this location because they have what we need and they have an exemplary work and customer service ethic. I really can't say enough good things about the people we've encountered there. UHaul and other service industries should be taking lessons from these folks!

It was very unorganized with employees not knowing how to do their job properly. I was assigned one trailer but given a contract for another one which really could of messed me up and ended up costing more money in late fees if it wasnt fixed. They need to train the employees better so the new general manger isn't the only one who knows how to do their job.

Rented a car hauler. Very accommodating when I had a flat tire on car being hauled which caused me to run late. Did not charge me for an extra day. Great customer service

all went OK until I returned the truck; I have returned it at 2:30 PM (deadline was 7PM) and the gentleman said I would get an email with my final receipt within 5 min ... that confirmation came the next day after 8AM... At around 6:30 PM I got text messages that I will have to pay a fee of $20 if I do not return the truck by 7PM. I called the store but did not answer so I talked with U-haul customer service ... that said that the truck did not show returned / checked-in on their system and that they cannot get a hold of the store manager. The next day I got the final receipt confirmation via email, which showed the correct info for mileage and gas tank,, with check-in time 7PM the night before ...Overall could have been a great experience except the check-in ...

This is another terrible experience with Uhaul within 1 year. This is a poor excuse for customer service and the most unprofessional business I've seen. My reservation was changed without my knowledge and when I entered the Uhual center at this location the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. There was no help or any eagerness to solve the problem they created.. What a shame just a business to make money and not make customers happy

the driver door on the truck had been bent at one time and wouldn't close right. there was so much wind noise going down the highway i couldn't hear my phone ring.. but the lady working the check out counter and the man that checked me back in were great...and i called back about my bill and the man on the phone made the correction handled it great and i was happy with that... thanks. roy

Rental was perfect. Darrius was courteous and efficient during. checking in. Really appreciated was his hook up of trailer, attached wiring and chains. Return was equally simple, Darrius did the decouple and maneuvered the trailer to its storage location. Didn't even have to get out of my truck.. No improvement needed at this location.

Everything associated with h the short term trailer rental (about 90 minutes) went smoothly. Not much could be done to improve the process unless your re tal firms were shortened significantly.

This location was actually fine. Picking up my truck with my initial reservation in Ballentine was a total nightmare. When I got in the truck the tank was on empty. I was told to put gas in it and I’d be reimbursed. Unacceptable. Horrible experience. Your customer service people do not know what they’re doing.

Uhaul is not user friendly uhaul needs to change there return drop off policy as long as all rentals are return during normal business hours or not it should not be charge a check fee that is totally unfair taking pictures and logging in on the phone to drop off rentals is very stupid and I have never heard of such a ridiculous policy.

This was not the original drop off location. I had to call for a new location due to the first place being closed each of the 3 previous times I tried to return the truck. I was sent to a place that was 10 miles further so I could not walk home. I could not keep the truck at my apt complex. They swept out the truck even though I just swept it out - it was clean! They didn't know what to do with the lock that was on the back of the truck when I picked it up.

Seems understaffed. They had three people there when I picked up including a general manager. I needed a hitch and one wasn't premade. There was no one in the store who was qualified to torque it. I had to leave and come back after telling me on the phone they had hitches. Perhaps they should have asked what size I needed. I will say Mitch seems to be a hard worker. He was there both times and seemed to be the only one hooking trailers and bringing out trucks.

attendent was not really interested in getting my truck hooked up properly before sending me on my way. the hitch was too low to allow for proper clearance for the trailer. he could have suggested that we flip the insert over to allow for more road clearance. fortunately i was able to make adjustments before leaving on my trip.

The inside of the truck was a MESS - dirt everywhere! And the Zimalcrest location was not where I had reserved the truck (even though the Elmwood location had been confirmed the night before - the location was changed by email that I received at 3am), which posed a real problem for us since the person who was to drive the truck wasn't available until later in the day and we wanted to get started loading my storage unit at the Elmwood location. We had to have a friend come help us. Brandon was nice and helpful, and added additional mileage since I had to drive further than anticipated. Both employees were excellent, but it's so frustrating that nothing ever goes as planned when dealing with U-haul. If there were another company, I would use them. OH - AND the equipment I had reserved (furniture dolly) wasn't available. It's just something no other type of business could get away with, but everyone has such low expectations of Uhaul.

U-Haul has "raised the bar." 20-30 years ago, I quit renting from them. Now, as far as I'm concerned, they're the best--service, equipment and professionalism. U-Haul keep up the good work!
