I returned the equipment even before my return time tried to drop it off via mobile drop off but had a network glitch i also called uhaul support but i was charged extra $20 for after hours drop off and extra $1 for environmental fee. Yet to see that resolved and my refund processed.

The self serve option was very difficult and not explained throughly in advance. The representative was unwilling to help and referred me back to the website for help. He actually stated “We don’t have any interaction with”y’all” anymore. Not a great experience. I will not be using U-Haul again.

The location was fine but because of how atrocious the app/website reviewing was I would never recommend a friend use a location without a service counter. The process to pick up through my phone was terrible. Chatting with a service person online was awful. All the instructions they provided were wrong and it didn’t make sense. One chatter just stopped responding to me and never replied so i had to figure out how to start the process over. This was so frustrating and it was also completely avoidable if the app/website UX/UI was better/USABLE. I will never do the Mobile pickup ever again.

To tour or check the equipment with the customer. I took the equipment while the gas showing 3/4 and my agreement paperwork showing 7/8. I wish if I could get my fuel reimbursement.

They charged me for not checking in the Uhaul after hours even though I tried to check it in and the link was not working. Dumb fees/charges, I'll never use Uhaul again, I'll find a friends truck or another company. Super unreasonable charge.

I have found the U-haul app to be buggy and unreliable on my iPhone. It would not complete the check-in procedure to pick up the truck, nor would it complete the procedure for returning the truck (it would get "stuck" and just spin forever). Thankfully the staff member at the rental site completed each procedure manually. The truck itself had two cigarette lighter sockets, neither of which had power, so I was unable to use my dash cam and unable to charge my phone. Three years ago the U-haul app was similarly buggy.

It was a lot with a locked gate and no instructions. I spent 20 minutes trying to load photos into the website and then it told me to put the keys in a u-haul drop box, but there wasn't one. After calling several numbers, I got ahold of someone who gave me a code to open the gate and I walked around inside until I found an office to put my keys through the mail slot of. I really miss dealing with human beings. Also, it was a 25 minute drive away from where I was originally supposed to drop off my u-haul, which made it a lot more work and messed up my schedule.

My first truck had a dead battery after waiting 45 minutes for the app to approve me. DONT USE THE APP TO CHECK IN GO TO THE FRONT DESK. second truck had low tire pressure but used it anyways and then the drop off location suddenly changed and i couldn’t return it via phone like it said i could. worst experience ever.

I made a 24/7 reservation and all of my email and online confirmation notices stated an 8am pickup time that I could do from my phone. When I arrived at 8am to pick up my truck, the location was closed and no one was picking up the phone. When I logged onto my online account, it said my reservation had been changed to a 9am in-person pickup. Only one phone call was made to give me notice of the change (at 6:30pm the night before and I missed the call). There was not a second phone call, text, or email notification. So I was running an hour behind schedule on my moving day which put my entire day behind schedule. No real apology was made for the mishandling of the reservation and no discount was offered. I am extremely unhappy with the customer service at this location and will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone.

Don’t allow someone to reserve moving blankets, furniture dollies, and dollies in general unless the location can guarantee availability. They are critical pieces to a successful move.

The location manager said he doesn’t do dollys or furniture carts anymore because it is too much work. He didn’t put them in and wasn’t going to tell me he didn’t. I only found out because I asked if they were in there. Only then did he remove the charges. I also asked about the blankets, which he didn’t put in the truck either, and he acted like he was doing me the biggest favor of getting them. Definitely not a customer first environment and the manager just came off as lazy. It also felt dishonest that he was going to charge me without including any of the extras I asked for. Also, I had to call the location for the manager to show up even though I had a 10am pickup scheduled. All my other u-haul experiences have been positive this manager just is bad at his job.

overall my rental experience was very good. I rented on a Saturday (3/18/23) and expected it to be busy. The rental person was very cheerful and helpful, But I did the rental paperwork online which turned out to save a lot of time when i went to pickup the truck. The 10' truck was in good mechanical condition; back box was clean. I returned truck later that same afternoon. I did the return online, which also saved time.

The after hours return was a scam. We followed instructions. We returned and used the URL as described. They also charged for 2 gallons of gas even though it was filled within 2 miles of the location. Who is accountable for this? Who can we escalate this to?

We ordered packing blankets, and when we picked up the truck they were out of blankets. No warning. We had to move without packing blankets. No discount. The truck was a ridiculously decrepit old rattletrap. The door latch was hard to work and didn't stay closed well, and the transmission was on its very last gasp. We weren't sure the truck would make the distance, which was a grand total of 75 miles. The mileage charge is 30% more than Penske and Budget. Go there instead.

Everyone there was great, the truck was perfect from my needs. However, charging me more than the actual rental cost of the truck for insurance was ridiculous. Literally $120 for insurance alone. I can do better elsewhere and have in the past.

The person at this location told us to go online to return the truck. I spent 20 minutes trying to set up an account on my phone and use the app and neither worked. After this she said she would help to check us in. This was just another delay and inconvenience during an already long and stressful move with U-Haul.

The worker was lazy. He was watching fart movies on his iPhone while he was checking me in. He didn't get the truck ready or remove any of the snow. and to top it off, they charged me extra for needing gas and a late fee. This place is a joke and that dude should be fired.

Office was left unattended during their business hours, so had to wait 20 minutes outside a gate trying to figure out how to get in to pick-up the truck. Also the charges were incorrect at check-in and the employee said it would be fixed through the app on our final bill, and it wasn’t, so I was overcharged by $33. Would not recommend this location- not professional. Only good part was that they had a truck for me.

I made the Truck Reservation # 20343868 on the U-Haul website. For some reason the Safe Move Plus charge for $28, the Safe Trip charge for $5 and another fuel charge ended up on the bill. I have rented 6 U-Haul trucks in the last few months and have never taken this insurance. I must have missed a checkbox on the many pages you have to go through to reserve a truck online. Poor experience overall. If you change the location of pick up send a text and updated email with a change to the reservation. Waited 20 min on hold to learn this. Very frustrating. Instructions for truck share process and experience are poor at best. I’d be happy to write them out for you.

I was not given a code to enter the gated facility. Couldn't get in to drop off the truck until someone else came to the storage unit. They were dropping off supplies to the closed office. The intercom didn't work to speak to someone remotely about the inability to access the gated area to drop off the truck. This was my first time using 24/7 pick up/return and won't in the future due to the multiple hiccups with their app and dropping off at a location that is gated (not sure how I would have known that when renting initially). U-Haul APP concerns: Also couldn't access my contract online or in the App (the mileage details, pictures I took the truck at pickup etc). Didn't know how many miles I had left. I was charged for mileage over, because I didn't write it down when I assumed I would be able to see all the details in the app for my rental (my bad for assuming). Today, 3 days later, my rental still doesn't show in my app even after I've associated it.

I was charged for a dolly that I never received. There was no option to have this removed, so I ended up paying for it. I stated on the online form that the dolly was missing, and then provided a picture of it missing. I was still charged. Very disappointing.
