The service representative was very friendly but overwhelmed. The UHaul webpage was down and causing major delays. He was helping anther UHaul customer for 20 minutes while trying to help customers paying for gas, drinks, and cigarettes. I tried to call UHaul myself and was on hold for rover 15 minutes. There are many people unemployed due to the pandemic. When I hear that a business has a long wait time, I have to question why they would not hire more help. Maybe they care more about profits than customer service.Andrea N.

Pickup and drop off times were accommodated. At drop off it was pointed out that I needed to sweep out the van to avoid a $35 cleaning fee, and a broom was loaned for said cleaning. Genial and hospitable service. Easy in, easy out, couldn't have gone better.James A.

I got to the u-haul place where I booked my 10-ft truck. They didn't have the 10-foot truck, so they sent me to another location. I was charged twice for one u-haul truck. At first, I was told it was cancelled, and one wouldn't even hit my account. I saw the two pending charges, and I called and was told it both would not actually process or something like that. Both processed through, and now I have to wait 5-7 business days to get my money back - money that I should never have been charged. I also wasn't told a specific time to bring the truck back, so I was charged for an extra day at the u-haul place where I turned in the truck. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I'm still waiting on my $340.20 refund. Maybe I will be refunded for the extra day too. Or maybe I won't get any refund at all.Rachel L.

The employee couldn't find my reservation and needed to contact the field manager and then they added insurance and a cleaning fee on the truck when I declined insurance and brought the truck back clean.Ehdaa M.
The price ended up to be 3 to 4 times what was advertised. The rate of $19.95 per day turned into $110.00 for 4 hours with all of the hidden fees. Come on man, just be honest.Todd R.
The U-haul cargo van was practically new and was very easy to drive. Customer service was exemplary at this convenient location, making rental very pleasant.Margaret A.
Make sure the automobiles are cleaned and sanitized. Dog hair and strong odor. Horrible and had to hold your breath. The vehicle needed to be cleaned and deodorized. It ran well, but last person that used the cargo van did a number to it with animals.Vivian D.

The truck I rented did not have a ramp for me to move my things.Tina W.
I left the store and drove home. As I stood outside of the van talking to my son the sIde door of the van opened and a man got out. This individual had been sleeping in the back of the van. The rental agent never came out and checked the van for damage etc. when i rented it and had no idea a homeless man was in the van.Steve M.

Helpful I would recommend this location. In that it was a drop off/gas station it wasn't inviting. However, the gentlemen I encountered was very nice.Annette W.
I'm not sure if it was a mistake, but this location incorrectly charged me a â€˜wrong destination' fee of $50. I tried contacting them, as this was incorrect, and didn't get an answer. Ultimately, uhaul customer service gave me a refund and were very helpful and professional.Sean W.
I was suppose to pick up my truck in Watertown,N.Y. After keeping in touch with them four different times about getting truck there on a certain day,they said they would have it there .We had to go to Carthage to get truck. That was very frustrating,and we were going to Maryland with it. On my text message from u haul they had two different pick up locations on it the day before I was going to get truck.Cathy M.

The self check in process was so complicated and time consuming. I wish they would have given clearer instructions prior to starting the process and let me know my references would need to be on call at a specific time of day or else my rental time would be cut short. They instructions for getting the key were vague, I assume because each location operates differently. Customer service was very helpful and professional when I called.Laura S.

I drove the rental vehicle 14 Miles. I replaced the gas using $2.00 (almost a full gallon) considering I barely drove it. The employee never came out of the drop off gas station to inspect the vehicle and/or gas. I was CHARGED an additional $6.00 for gas after I left and a day or two later. Unbelievable. Ridiculous. Unexceptionable. I never ever complain, but I refuse to let this negative experience fly. I will never use UHAUL services again and will likely suggest to anyone who asks my opinion not to use UHAUL services either. It's the principle, not the $6.00. However, I should be refunded. Thank you for the survey as it is important for any business to know the experiences of their customers.Melanie G.

This location is not good because you cannot keep your vehicle on site while you're using the U-Haul. Also the van was very dirty and smelly. The gentleman who rang me up booked me for the wrong return time calling me asking me where the van was. I told him I was dropping it off at nine to 9:30 PM He replied you didn't specify a.m. or p.m. isn't that his job to ask? I know I certainly said p.m.Elizabeth S.
I have never had an experience like this before. I needed a truck for 1 day but I was in contact with Uhaul for 8 straight days via email, text and/or phone. I only wanted to do business with you for 1 day. I had to download an app. Every company in America wants me to download an app. 7-Eleven wants me to download an app. I Do. Not. Want. Anymore. Apps. The Uhaul drop-off was in an area with no cell signal but I was required to download and app that I couldn't use because there was no cell signal. If I don't use the app to return the truck I get charged a "convenience" fee. OMG!! This was an all around terrible experience. Uhaul customer service couldn't even tell me how to use the app. Uhaul should be embarrassed.Eric K.
