The man at this location was amazing. Uhaul messed up and over charged my credit card when I returned the truck. I called and they said it was in fact the incorrect amount. IT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. I will not rent a Uhaul again as this is fraud. The receipt shows a different amount than my credit card was charged. I will continue to contact customer service until this is fixed.Sarah G.

I had to pay around $60 extra, I did reserve the track in the nearby location, litter someone called me and said they don't have a track available at that location I had to go 20 miles away to get a truck and it cost me for the round trip about 40 miles plus the gas cost when I called the customer service to help me and get me discount for the 40 miles they said your reservation was not granted, I don't know what does it mean by guaranty but I had to pay about $60 extra for a single trip.AbdulHadi B.

Person helping was excellent. On-line pick up was useless. The online pickup asked many more questions once at the location that could have been asked remotely, then required a second number to verify that rental would be returned, yet the call didn't get through. thankfully the person at the uhaul location worked with us to get our rental to us.Robert D.

Got billed for a day that I did not use the truckSteven S.
Upon parking the truck I was told to drop it off at another location because they had to many trucks that size. I was also instructed to back it up next to the other trucks because the employee didn't have a drivers license. He also said it was my responsibility to unload the blankets and dollie in to the office. The contract has no such language. More customer relations training is needed. The manager is very helpful, however the personnel was not going to help without the managers instructions. In this case parking was limited and this personnel wanted me to drive to another location for my drop off. Terrible customer experience when reserving. Little signage out front to acknowledge it was a UHAUL location and gas more than 3.60/gallon which is more than .25 more than most any other location I'm aware of in the Frederick area. I asked about cargo capacity and if I could measure but it appeared I asked a silly question that I should have otherwise known before my arrival. I mentioned that I called UHaul at the 800 number the day prior and did not receive an answer regarding this. The RR tire was low but was told it was fine.... Just rude customer service/experience and felt with the price of gas, I was not comfortable working from this locationDONNA E.

My experience at this Toll House BP left a lot to be desired. The rental truck had a low tire pressure indicator on when I started it up. The gas station attendant didn't offer to help but gave me 4 quarters to use their air pump which didn't have a working air pressure gauge so it was useless. Upon returning the truck, the Uhaul app was malfunctioning and I was unable to upload a photo showing the milage and fuel level. I went inside for assistance and was told no they couldn't help and i had to call Uhaul. I informed them I had less than 8% battery on my phone so i wouldn't be able to call. There was no offer of assistance and they simply repeated i would have to work with Uhaul. I had to leave and drive all the way home to get my charger (30 mins round trip). Upon returning a little and time, I attempted roughly another 10 times to upload the photo without success. Unable to locate a number to call Uhaul for help, I went back inside and this time the annoyed attendant said he would take care of the checkin. Why was that not offered the first time I asked for help instead of making drive another 30 mins after an already long day. 2nd point about Toll House BP. Do not plan on refueling the truck when you return it. They are greatly inflating their fuel cost. I was charged $3.79 per gallon when the average cost of fuel in Frederick is $3.20. They should not be allowed to take advantage of people returning their rentals with exuberant gas prices.John B.
Truck was fine. The app is terrible. Could not return the truck through it. Tried to call CS and there was a 50 minute wait! The chat tech helped by directing me to the browser return instead of the app. I will not be using the app again.Anne A.

The app check out and check in process was horrible. It took at least 15 minutes to get the app to accept my pictures on check out and on check in I couldn't get it to work for pics of the odometer and fuel level and ended up having the guy at the location do the check in.Seth P.

The people at the location were great! But the actual location was a gas station with 2 trucks. It is difficult to compare that to a full service UHaul facility. The truck itself was in average condition and fairly clean, but the windshield wipers were old, dry and ineffective and it rained the day of our rental. The truck that we rented was very nasty, dog or cat hair was in the seats and floor of truck. I had to wipe down the seats, doors and door handles. Very nasty!!! With COVID going on every truck should be sanitized before it leaves the lot.Evelyn S.

The UHAL agent was very friendly and went through the check in process with me. It was quick and uncomplicated. Also, I was pleased with the truck. It was very clean. It had good instructions pasted everywhere. We really like the USB and AC power plugs so we could run our electronic devices while we traveled. It had a lot of space in the cab for our personal luggage and cooler. I would use UHAUL again if I needed to move a lot of stuff.Charles W.

I was not pleased for two reasons. First I felt threatened to pay the $25 "insurance" or else. The sales associate repeated 3 times how I need to pay the $25 or else any damages will be charged to my card. I do not agree with paying for duplicate car insurance. If there was a major accident, then that is what my insurance is for. If there was a minor incident, your company provided no information on how damages will be assessed and what the cost of repair will be. Will you be sending an adjustor to the rental facility? Or will the guy behind the counter arbitrarily decide how much the damage costs? I do not have time to negotiate the details of a rental contract on the day I am picking up your vehicle to use it. The second complaint I have is that I paid for a 2 day rental. 11:30a Friday until 11:30a Sunday. But I got a call at noon on Saturday asking why I was late returning the van. Because for some reason you scheduled another customer to use my van at noon on Saturday. I felt rushed to return the van at 2pm (early) on Saturday. And was afraid of being charged a late fee (which did not happen)Daniel R.
