To U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received when renting a vehicle transport trailer to move my Jeep from Lawrenceville, Georgia. When I arrived to have my Jeep loaded onto the trailer, the employee who was there was absolutely no help. It was only me and another female trying to get my Jeep properly loaded and secured onto the trailer. The employee did not make sure the straps were tightened securely around the tires, nor did he properly secure the safety chains underneath my Jeep. We ended up driving all the way from Lawrenceville, Georgia, into Tennessee before another driver on the road noticed that my Jeep was not securely strapped onto the trailer. Thank God that person was paying attention and took the time to warn me because this situation could have ended very badly. Thankfully, that individual was kind enough to direct me to another U-Haul location, where the Jeep was finally secured properly and tightly onto the trailer. What really upsets me is that I trusted U-Haul to provide me with the proper equipment and assistance to transport my vehicle safely. I should not have had to drive across state lines before finding out that my Jeep was not secured correctly. Not only was my safety at risk, but so was the safety of my passenger and everyone else traveling on the highway. This situation was completely unacceptable and could have resulted in a serious accident, injuries, or even loss of life. I would like U-Haul management to look into this situation, address the lack of assistance and safety precautions at the original location, and explain what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening to another customer. I am also requesting that U-Haul review my rental experience and consider appropriate compensation for the unsafe service I received. I am extremely grateful that someone noticed the problem before anything tragic happened, but I should have never been placed in that situation in the first place. Sincerely,

AHMED AVery convenient location and friendly staff. The issue I have is my drop off location changed from what was on my contract/paperwork. The barbershop I was initially assigned was very unhelpful and the parking for the trucks is incredibly inconvenient. I would not recommend that location.

It may be consistent with his location's rules but it doesn't build good will and brand loyalty. He should improve his language and general communication skills. I have used his location several times before but he has lost me as a future customer..
Lesley PDespite filling out the required checkout forms beforehand, we had to go through the whole process again, making check-out extremely inefficient. The gentleman tried very hard to help get hooked up, but the communication barrier because of language made it more challenging. There were no handtrucks at this location, so we made do without them. I have experienced better locations.

Marcio DThis is a one man operation, trying to keep up with the customer’s orders and dispatching rentals. Owner was very patient and friendly despite encountering some software clithe and delays he was able to dispatch my rental.
Juan VI made the reservation at 8 AM no communication was given that the location doesn’t open until 10. A lot of computer issues when we arrived. It’s still took 30 minutes to get the truck.

The walk-in registration process was quick and easy, and they had plenty of trucks available in inventory, so I was able to get exactly what I needed without any hassle. The representative was polite, professional, and helpful throughout the process. Drop-off was just as smooth and convenient. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needing a truck rental!

MITCHELL WTruck was dirty and didn't have the covers I ordered. I had to clean out the back which had razors. Good thing I swept it out before my nephews loaded their stuff. Bad experience and overpriced for two days.

RENE ENice man running the place, but poor communication. In my original rental, I had included 3 dollies in my reservation which we needed for the move. My pickup location was originally in Buford. UHAUL switched my location to Lawrenceville farther away, and the new location did not have dollies I needed. U-Haul simply removed the dollies from my reservation and did not tell me, so I had to go to a different location to get those. A little frustrating that I did not receive any communication from anybody, as it delayed us quite a bit. I get things happen, but could have been much better.
