I was dropping off a trailer. I arrived at the time of opening. A young gentleman by the name of Steven assisted me. He stated I can just park/ unhook the trailer. One factor that didn't come to mind is that I could not unhook the trailer by myself. I ask Steven to help me which he did. However this should not be the customer responsibility to unhook a heavy trailer alone. Steven was alone and stated his manager was not there to assist. If Steven was busy, how could a customer unhook a trailer? Not the best experience.Monica G.
The truck was falling apart, it was unsafe to drive but out of necessity I had to use it anyways. I called the owner and he was incredibly rude and clearly didn't care about the safety of his customers. Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!Will H.

Picked up a truck after hours at this location. The process was â€œokâ€, nothing to be happy about. I reserved the truck in order to have the truck ready in the morning for paid labor to help us move some items around. Fast forward to the following morning; I go to open the cargo area only to find some previous renters â€œknockoff Chinese made merchandise filled the the door and falling out of the truckâ€. I tried calling U-Haul and it was a poor and unhelpful experience dealing with your customer rep on the phone. I ended up driving the vehicle back to the pick up location where the over the counter personnel didn't know how to handle the situation without calling the owner. In the end I was swapped into a older dirty unit that drove like it was down a couple of cylinders. This whole debacle cost me two hours of time where I couldn't use the paid labor for the day. When I returned the unit the same day before closing time, your stupid app tried to charge me for cleaning and fuel even though I returned it back with the same fuel and same condition. The same person over the counter was of no help. My level of frustration and displeasure with this rental experience has me pissed off to say the least. A few days ago I rented a Penske truck for a similar project and guess what? It was a night and day differenceâ€¦to say in displeased with U-Haul and that I do not ever want to give you or refer business to you is a understatement!!Joseph P.

The ac didn't work. It only blow hot air and that's unacceptable in this Georgia heat. It was a miserable move and drive. Also, The check engine light was on as well as another light. I couldn't do anything about it cause we picked the truck up after hrs from the key box. I told management and all they said was â€œokâ€ like they already knew that. I reserved a 20' truck with an appliance dolly and an additional dolly Saturday. It was reserved for the next day at 11:30AM. When I get there on Sunday my truck had been given away. I spent some time trying to find a 20' truck at another location, but could not find one. I ended up having to get a 15' truck with no dollies at this location. I wasted a whole hour on this ordeal when I finally left at 12:30 PM.Ruben C.

This is the worst experience with Uhaul ever, truck parked less than 1 ft from left to right of two other 26' trucks. SIgn on door stated current violation of business license. Never use Uhaul again for anything including their moving no helpRobert G.

We had a reservation for an enclosed trailer and when we got to the location to pick up at the specified time the door was locked and no one was there. Called the local number posted on the door and no answer or voice mail available. Called the corp. # and they had to track down the owner/employee to come to the location and check us out. Wasted a lot of time that I needed to be using for an event we needed the trailer for.Laura R.

My concern with your establishment is I call made appointment for pickup I was never told during the time making made appointment that I would be charged for gas which I feel appalling because you charge $.79 mile. The truck was dirty and no gas. The weather striping on the drivers door was completely falling off and it was dangerous to drive. This truck should not be in the fleet. It drove and had heat, period. I will never use your company again.William A.

Have all the equipment requested and be open and honest in dealing with customer. I came by the day before to make sure all was in order and he assured me it was. I told him I would be there on Friday on time and he said fine. I arrived and had to call him and I specifically ask for in person check in. He was disrespectful and when he finally arrived did even address me. NEVER again and will share with my friends.BENJAMIN H.

There was trash still present in vehicle from pervious renters. Truck has very bad vibration in front end at highway speeds. Trucks Air conditioning system no operating correctly. Blowing hot air. Other than that experience was great!!TIMOTHY D.

Someone still hasn't call me in regards to my rental. I rented a uhaul and they rented a truck knowing it wasn't serviced properly. Not only did I get to my location and the truck wouldn't start back up. No one came to change battery until 1:30a in morning. The drop off location was closed and I had to pay movers by the hour. Which led into another day and having to find new movers. And having to at them by the hour. Then the truck power steering as well as the brakes started giving us more issues. No one called to say anything. I spoke to someone and they said to keep truck extra day. But that doesn't help the situation. Then after return they still charged my card for the charges and charged an extra $13-14 If no one calls me I am going to go to small claims courtMONKIA H.

My reservation was for 10 AM and when I arrived at the location there was a sign indicating that the location will be open at 11 AM. I specifically asked for this location to pick up my truck. When I got there my truck was not there. They gave me a location to go pickup the truck. When I got there my truck was not there and it was a car wash. I went back to this location and now they told me I had to goto a location over 20 miles away and this out me an hour and a half behind schedule.JOHN G.
