I have had very negative experiences with Uhaul in the past and my go to is now Home Depot for van rentals, but they have suspended van rentals. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of renting from Uhaul and the great customer service at the 318 Greenwood Ave Toronto location.KEITHS B.

I ordered dollies and furniture pad but the Sukhi Auto did not have them so I had to move everything by hand. The qorst part is the treatment i got from them. In the morning when I went to get the dollies the Sukhi auto person gave me a lecture about this is what happens when I sepect self checkout and said they can't do anything and didn't even try to help me. When I went to return by truck the same guy verbaly harrased me when I requested him to take the dolly charges off my bill. The whole time u-haul customer service was online and she heard everything. After a long tiring day when I had to move everything by hand alone, this was too much. I just went through a physical and emptional abuse because of this whole situation. U-haul should take action against it. However I do intend to talk to my lawyer about it.Jolly Nur H.

When I was handed the equipment contract, it indicated the gas tank was at half. When I got into the truck, I noticed it was not nearly at half and said so. I asked the attendant (Sukhi?) to take a look. We agreed that the indicator pointed to three eighths. I asked him to change it on the printout but he said he would change it t when I returned. As I had rented a vehicle there before, I went along with it. Before returning the vehicle after less than two hours and having travelled exactly 20km by the time I arrived back, I put $7 worth of gas in the tank. When I returned he said that there wasn't enough gas in the tank, that it wasn't half full. I reminded him of our conversation before I left and said that there was more gas in the tank than when I left. He indicated there was less. I should have taken a photos because I smelled a scam. A small scam but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I reckon he was looking to charge me a penalty for not abiding by the gas agreement. This is underhanded and lousy customer relations. I will use a different company or location next time. It would be helpful for this review to be posted publicly and for the attendant to be made aware of it. Disappointing service.FELICIAA M.

In the middle of covid 19 pandemic, I would like to request the vehicle to be sanitized after every use. The interior of the van was dusty and was not cleaned when I picked up the van and the cargo was not clean. I had to wipe down all the surfaces and I swept the cargo floor as I was moving a bedroom set and there was dirt and leaves on the floor. Not very impressed.Yong-Tae K.
The receptionist was very nice to us. He was flexible with the pick up and drop off time. The truck(cargo section) was very direct from inside I swept and mopped it before using and returned it clean.Deepanshu K.
The people were friendly but I got the feeling like they were trying to scam me. They added a CDW Coverage charge without my knowledge or permission and added a distance charge that was much higher than what I had quoted to them. Granted the distance charge is just an estimate and updated once you return the vehicle but the inflation of that coupled with the added coverage charge left a bad impression.MEGANF S.

I'm not sure where to begin, I arrived at the location and was told my "prepaid" card would not work. The owner or whoever still proceeded to charge my card and told me it did not go through. He then let me take the truck and told me to bring back cash to settle the balance. This would have been a nice gesture had my card actually declined.(it was approved) Upon returning the truck and showing proof that the transaction had been approved via my online banking the owner proceeded to argue with me saying I was scamming him and that I needed to pay in cash. I'm really appalled that someone would go out of their way to try and double charge someone. You sir are the scammer, it's a wonder you get any sleep at night. The U-Haul website should be able to locate how many vehicles this place has . I booked here at 11 am and the haul company sent me to the opposite site of the city , they claimed that they left me a voice mail when I didn't receive any call. I was in the phone with costumer service for more than 30 min and they kept putting me on hold until one woman picked and she told me that they cannot give me a discount or anything and pretty much useless . The guy from sukhi auto repairs was able to get me a truck at 2 pm which I use . But if not I will have left hanging with the 2 movers and my things on the street .ANASAMANTHA R.
