The air conditioning was in disrepair and this is Atlanta. Working air conditioning is a necessity. My blankets were not in the truck so I would like a refund for that charge. The authorization process was too long and convoluted.Travis T.
I've been incorrectly charged for damage to a vehicle. The vehicle was dirty on the inside and wasn't cleaned before being provided to me, and the vehicle was given to me on a half tank of gas and I was instructed the gas tank was full.BRITTANY D.
Ordered a 20 ft. but was downgraded to a 15 ft. requiring multiple trips to move. Gas gauge was broken on the truck and was left with 15 miles to empty of gas. Staff was reluctant to do their job (i.e. provide ordered equipment, update reservation, etc.) Not a good experience at all.MATTHEW L.
The staff were excellent and gracious, 5 stars to the ppl working. The truck we received was a disgrace: less than 1/8 gas in tank on arrival (such a pain! We had to get gas almost immediately!) which was annoying, tons of broken glass in the back, and the chassis of the truck must have been bent bc it rode with the butt of the truck to the right - not safe at all. That truck probably needs serious repair work, and it was hard to drive. I was incredibly disappointed and unhappy with the vehicle. I have photos and videos if you want proof/evidence. There was also some confusion with the gas level bc my agreement said I had to bring it back 1/4 full or I would be charged $30, but I was given a truck with less than 1/8 full tank. The staff sorted that for me, but even they seemed a little confused about why it was like that. The location was convenient and clean, but overall the experience was awful, with the exception of the lovely staff.ANNA V.

#1. Tell customer Sunday hours of operation, especially when truck was reserved for 8:30 am Sunday and facility doesn't even open until 10 am! #2. I had to place call myself to find which facility would have truck I signed up for. Received NO call placed by UHaul. #3. The reason I would not recommend this location is because I scheduled a self check in pickup, but had to wait 2 hours for the location to open up instead. I was told that the location did not do self check in prior to their opening time, despite your website confirming otherwise. This caused me to pay extra to my movers due to the delay.GERI G.

The location did not have any of the moving equipment that I requested (hand truck, dolly and mats) and the car's driver side door did not close. I was unable to move everything I wanted to without the equipment that I reserved. Will not use Uhaul again. Awful experience.BRENNAN T.

The lady I spoke with over the phone and in person must have woke up that morning saying, â€œI'm going to be difficult and unhelpful at every opportunity can can.â€ It took another individual who's name I think is Cameron to step in and provide me with the assistance I needed. I rent vans often for work and this location use to be my place of choice, because of its excellent customer service. If a van wasn't available at this I would either select another day or just not rent at all. All that has changed. It's become unnecessary obstreperous.Benjamin G.

This location was poorly managed and had terrible customer service. They did not have the hand truck, furniture dolly, or blankets that I had reserved. Instead, they gave me a single blanket and an appliance dolly but incorrectly charged me for the original two pieces of equipment. The truck was filthy when I picked it up. I personally removed the previous user's coffee and water from the cup holder and had to sweep out their dorito crumbs. The truck had only 1/4 tank of gas upon pickup, so I had to go fill the tank before I could start loading the truck. When I asked how I could acquire more blankets, the rep informed me that I could â€œdrive to another location in town.â€ When I asked him to correct my statement, he said he would and then did not, so I had to call customer service and wait on hold for more than 30 minutes to get it noted on my file correctly. Please do not book through this location if you want a smooth move or expect your moving add-ons to be available with you equipment.Kelsey W.

I signed up for my truck rental online days before the actual pickup date. I requested a dolly. When I arrived to pick it up, the staff said they were out of dollies. They said they had had 10 that morning but they all got rented. Seems like to me, if I had rented a truck with a dollie, they should have put one in the truck that morning when they had dollies?! I had to quickly go to Home Depot to rent one because I had paid workers to help me move. Don't offer things you cannot guarantee to provide!Jamie W.
Checkin took a long time. When I arrived, I could tell the workers didn't want to deal with me and they took their sweet time, until he realized I was a quick mobile checkout. Then he added a bit of pep in his step. Getting my license verified and having an additional point of contact really extended my checkin time, but otherwise things went wellArbreâ€™ya L.

24/7 online reservation is a complete scam. I made reservation weeks before to prepare for my move. Truck was supposed to be ready to be picked up at 730 AM with or without the facility being open. Nobody ever contacted me to tell me that I would be unable to pick up the truck until 10 AM. Upon arriving at Uhaul for the third time on the morning of my move I was greeted by an extremely rude employee who had no interest in listening to my complaints. I will not be using Uhaul ever again.CODY V.
I had reserved three dozen blankets for my moving help to wrap furniture. The person at this store was so dismissive. I never changed my initial reservation when I arrived she had a lot of unhappy customers including myself. She told me real quick that they had no blankets and I would have to call other Uhaul stores and ask if they had blankets. I guess she doesn't realize that moving day is very stressful and the last thing I had time to do was to tide around town looking for blankets. I was so upset because I had nothing to substitute and use. Because of this the moving men did the best theu could. I have had to file a claim vof damages to my furniture.Rodney P.

Arrived at 4:45pm to return a van. Was directed to go out to the van and fill out the app for a return. Did that but when I went back in to finish the return the door was already locked and lights off. It was exactly 5pm when I tried to get back in and they knew I was out there. At least have the courtesy to tell me that they're locking up and I can finish the return online.Craig M.
For some reason, my reservation got changed to a different location 23 miles away. I tried calling both customer service and the new location but was put on hold for an hour. Eventually I had to just get an Uber to the new location because I don't have a car. By the time, I go there the reservation had been moved back to the original location and the new location had no truck for me. I called the original location and they put me on hold again. After being on hold for 15 minutes, they told me that they didn't have a truck for me. I took another Uber home. On the way home I called the Georgia reservation line. Was put on hold. Once I got someone they told me there was a truck for me there. Once home I called the location again and they told me there was a truck. I then took public transportation to this location. Once there I was asking questions and wanting reimbursement for my Ubers but all they would say is that they were a third party and had nothing to do with it and couldn't help me. It was not the location itself, it was Uhaul reservation system and customer service. If you're make a reservation a month out and plan to move, you don't want to find out the night before the equipment and location for picnic are unavailable. The first rep I spoke with was rude and impatient, basically suggested I cancel. The second rectified it and offered a discount and more miles, someone else called and said the truck I wanted was now available and deleted all of the upgrades/discounts that were promised. I spent a total of almost two hours and at least five phone calls and in the end paid full price. Will jot recommend uhaul or use the service againREBECCA B.

U-Haul system was down upon pickup. I wasted half an hour of a busy moving day standing in the lobby of the store (I had originally scheduled mobile pickup). Employees in-store were rude. U-Haul customer service was first unresponsive and then useless. I was told the dolly I reserved was unavailable upon pickup, and then was later charged for not returning it. I was also charged for furniture pads that were not even on the truck to start with. Awful experience with U-Haul, which seems to have become the norm rather than the exception.Philip P.

The team was super fabulous and accommodating. Unfortunately the UHAUL system went down and was a complete mess. The poor team could not do anything. It was not their fault and they tried numerous times to connect with their UHAUL rep and they would ignore the phone calls and UHAUL support/tech also had no support to give. This delayed my move by over 90 minutes which I had also hired movers and lost 90 minutes over $135 worth of labor time in which I ordered from UHAUL. Also, I ordered 2 Dollies and 1/2 dozen pads and none available. Completely unacceptable and I will never rent from UHAUL again. I'd like for someone from UHAUL to connect back with me as I do believe there is some room for compensation for time lost and the unacceptable experience.JOHN B.

I ordered a trolly and furniture dolly, upon arrival to pick up the rental, the clerk told me they are out of dollies and they should have called ahead or informed me but oh well. which imposed a challenge on getting to moving my stuff efficiently as more time was spent to look for a location that has them in stock. The truck was not cleaned and poorly maintained with some pre-existing damages.Thair A.

Where do i start? I'd loaded, driven 5 hours, unloaded, found there was nowhere to park, took truck back a day early. I was there at 6:02. They close at 6. These nuckleheads are standing inside the door. One just points to the drop box and yells some nonsense i couldn't hear. I needed to know what fuel costs would be since i was already at 0 patience and exhausted. I wanted to know if i could get a credit for being a day earlier. I got pointed at a drop box and mumbling through glass. Meanwhile, another guy walks right in another door. Maybe he worked there? No uniform or logos obvious, so who knows. Now i have the 2 day charge and an additional $125 for 3/4 tank of unleaded. I'm assuming thats what its for because i have no receipt. One of my employees treated a customer like that, they'd be fired on the spot. Absolutely no excuse for U-haul to have this poor customer service. Vehicles are NEVER clean at this location. They smell, are sticky and full of dirt and grease. Very gross! Secondly I had MAJOR issues with the pickup process. I ordered my truck from 14th Street, On the day of pick up, I logged into my account only to learn that the location had been switched to a location 8 miles away in a VERY bad neighborhood. I called customer service and asked for truck availability at 14th street & Peters street. The person on the phone switched my reservation to Peters Street. I arrived at Peters Street only to learn that they DID NOT have any trucks available. The staff at Peters Street then checked the closest availability and swithced my reservation to 14th Street! It took nearly 3 hours to get a truck from the location that I orginally ordered it from! YOUR COMPANY has TERRIBLE customer service! You caused my whole schedule to get delayed because of Terrible customer service. I had a whole event production that was relying on us getting a truck! It literally RUINED our day! Your online reservation process is TERRIBLE because it automatically swithes the location and does not tell the customer! When is Uhaul going to start caring about their customers?KELLY K.

It complicated my return process so I waited until the office was open. 2nd problem: you need to indicate your hot spot information.
