Picked up truck after hours. Truck was buried behind other rentals. Luckily, an employee happened to show up after hours and was able to move equipment around. Truck had gravel all inside of cab. Check engine light came on in truck minutes from destination.

Yash KumarSet an appointment to use the mobile app for a 24-hour rental at 5pm after the store was closed. Get there to pick it up and the truck I was assigned was blocked in with no way to get it out. Contacted online support and it took almost an hour, after being transferred 6 times (5 of those being to the wrong ‘department’) finally I get a rep who knows what she’s doing. She gets me into another truck and saves the day. However, the dolly and moving pads I ordered were not included. This makes moving an entire house worth of stuff hard to move for one man. Before my rental period is over, I contact online support and explain the situation so I ask to keep it longer as I am having trouble getting everything moved. They said no problem, we’ll let the store know you are keeping it for an extra 24 hours. Guy from the store calls me the next morning with a crappy tone asking why the truck is 16 hours late. Then after I drove half the distance I estimated and didn’t get the supplies I was promised that I paid for as per the contract, they try to charge my card extra after I return it! Lol, only reason I gave them 2-stars is because I did indeed get to rent a truck. Truck I rented had obvious front-end issues as well. Really hope I never have to rent from there again, at least not for a U-Haul. Absolute train wreck of an experience. Wish I could remember the lady’s name that helped me though. She worked in the Northwest Ohio department and literally saved me from total disaster. Her name might’ve been Nan? Give her a raise.
Steven WytheThe vehicle was obviously barely maintained. I don't blame this on the location but on uhauls practices. The truck needed an alignment so bad that I couldn't see the speedometer because the steering was turned in front of it when you drove straight. Unacceptable from a company that makes plenty of money off of random fees and insurance premiums
JAMES KENNEDYThis location needs to ensure the equipment is in good, proper working order. I rented a tow dolly and the straps were in poor condition and hard to use. The camshaft buckles that the straps go into were Rusty and very hard to turn while trying to crank them down

William GratzerHad to go 30 miles further away to get a truck. Did not provide furniture dolly, were out of blankets. Only had a 2 wheel dolly. I should not have to pay for at least 40 of the miles. Thought there is a guarantee that everything requested would be available. Not a good experience at all. Moving is stressful enough w/o dealing with messed up reservations that were made in plenty of time.

Joseph WaskowThe 20 foot truck that I rented was a wreck. The steering was very, very loose and way, way out of alignment--dangerous. The transmission also shifted very roughly and I don't think the truck would do more than 45 mph. It is barely serviceable for in-town moves and under no circumstances should it be rented for a move of more than a few miles.

And one of the customer service agent was a bit rude. IMPROVE THE APP. And I do not know why the U-haul charged mw to times in the name of milage and gas (thats basically the same thing). One of the worst experience in my life.

Lisa ParkerThe lady that was wearing pajamas and Crocs at the front counter was rude and not very intelligent. I was supposed to drop the truck off with 9/16 of a gallon, that's 1/16 over half a tank. At drop off she charged me for gas saying I didn't have 9/16 of a tank that I had less. This would mean I had half a tank or less, the meter was well over half the tank and I confronted her about it and she told me to call U-Haul customer service and customer service they issued me an immediate refund once they received the pictures

PATRICIA EDMONSONThe guy at front need to actually check your paperwork to see if you got the right trailer dropped off because I could’ve just drop the trailer off and left because I got a call from U-Haul week later asking if I dropped off the trailer and I did serve the dude never checked in
William NunnThe U-haul was not cleaned prior to us picking it up. The person who drove it around to the front for us had to clean out 5 or 6 water bottles from the front, some of which were not filled with water. The back was very dirty and we had to sweep it out before we could load anything in to it.

Tyler ThimjonI rented a 15ft truck because of the driveway was very hard to get down and back up. But I was given a 20+ ft truck. Which was impossible to get turned around or backed down the driveway. But overall it was a good experience

For some reason u-haul sent me to another location for a couple of years, very poor service. their no longer in business, I can understand why. I no longer go thru your web, go directly to location. make my request a month in advance.

John SehrI was glad that I wasn't charged $20 for bringing the truck back after the 3:30 closing time--but some of the online written communications implied that I might be charged if I didn't do an online verification. I tried to do that online verification and ended up with major frustration. I would recommend clarifying if the verification will be needed and/or how that online verification works.

Kimberly TimmsService manager at the location was very helpful, and did a great job, despite the sloppy integration of the Corporate website with the local site. The Corporate operation / website did not communicate that I purchased 2 dollys, or has no visibility to local sites inventory of dollys, so those were not on site, despite my ordering them.
