The address given to me as the place to pick up the trailer was not correct. I'm glad I went one day ahead to the given location, where I was informed that the trailer was at a different location. The final location was Smiths rent a car, where I was very well taken care of.

The front office and the yard staff were friendly and efficient. Minimum time checking in and out. Once I was there I saw a slightly different trailer that was more suited for my project and they accommodated the change with no problem. Will seek them out for future rentals.

Smiths was AWESOME! The location at 3601 Santa Rosa....fuck those douche bags. Made rsvp on Friday for the 3601 Santa Rosa Ave location, no phone call on Saturday, I call Sunday and ask if I can pick up 1 hr early and was told yes, show up to 3601 Santa Rosa and they say they don't have my reservation, then say they don't have that trailer, then say they have nothing for me so go try another location and then dismisses me, I asked what about my reservation and the bitch says go take it up with corporate. I call Smiths and the gal says she closes in 2 minutes, I tell her what happened and she says she will stay open so I hail ass to Smiths and they are all there still waiting for me, no rush, polite, as if I wasn't there after hours. 2nd time I've rented from this location and Smiths is absolutely incredible! This is the 2nd time the 3601 Santa Rosa location has screwed me on a trailer this month. I hope someone toddler shits in one of their trucks and uses it to paint the inside of the cargo area of one of their trucks. Smiths on the other hand, give those people a raise!

I called Uhaul because I needed to move a couch. Initially I said I only needed it for a couple hours. But then I thought why not keep it for 24 since I'm paying for it and just to be prepared for anything. I made the reservation and paid for the reservation and then hung up and drove to pick up the truck. When I got there before 7 the doors were locked. There was an employee helping a customer in the parking lot and so I got his attention. He asked if I could just wait until he was done helping that customer and I said absolutely no problem. When I told him that I had a reservation and I was supposed to pick up a truck but the door is locked he said let me go in and see what I can do. After a while he came out and told me that the manager said too bad and to come back the next day. I told him that I couldn't pick up the couch the next day this person had to be out of their apartment that night and he was a stranger. I asked him what I should do and you he said he didn't know what I could do because they were closed and by this time it was after 7. So I was by the front door and it opened. The manager was letting a customer out and he looked at me and said " you know I have a life too. " I told him that I booked a rental online and hung up and drove there immediately. I also said that they should. Not have rented me a truck if it wasn't going to be available. He said I don't know what to tell you but I have a life too. He was very rude and very disregarding tone. I have never had hey store manager be so incredibly rude and blatant about it. So I went and got on the phone with U-Haul. I told my experience to three different women who answered the phone. They were all nice. The first two just handed me off to the next. The last woman that I talk to , was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and attentive and problem solving and went above and beyond to make sure that I had a Truck Rental that night. I also want to say that this was located in one of the worst neighborhoods in Sonoma County and the later it got the scarier it got to be alone in those surroundings. The wonderful women stayed with me on the phone and didn't hang up until I was driving off in a truck rental. Unfortunately it took two to three hours if I remember correctly. By that time it was too late to pick up the couch. The next morning I was able to pick up the couch but it was pouring rain. So I had to exchange that truck for a box truck. The rental office wasn't the friendliest but it got the job done. I had a box check in the pouring rain and needed to again find the resources to move the couch. In the meantime, my dog who was with me the whole time had eaten something and became very sick. I had to take her to the vet. Only place she had been was in the truck. I can't prove 100% that she got something from the inside of that truck , but after some looking into it and thinking it through, that is what I believe. The vet bill in the medication and the antibiotics because of her
