Rental was covered in tree debris upon pick up, service upon return was poor as there was only one employee working, had to wait 20 minutes just for the lady to finish with another customer before she could check the rental return and give me confirmation that it was returned.

Customer service was horrible and childish. Equipment shouldn't have never left the location in the condition that it was in. Blad separated tire with wires showing. Could have been deadly experience if the tire had blown with towing a classic car.

The only downside was I couldn't use the trailer because of the trailer lighting on my truck was not working therefore was denied of taking the trailer off the premises due to that.

Make it easier to pick up with app. I got dropped off to pick up and had to wait several minutes to get verified to finalize transaction. I was a repeat customer that already checked in and had license on file. It was really crappy to be on the side of the road picking this up prior to business opening.

Give better explanation of returning after hours. The way I was originally told didn’t match with what a different haul rep told me. I also told the gentleman I originally had issues with signing in and seeing my reservation. I reserved a utility dolly as well and had to go to a different location making 2 pick ups and 2 drop offs. The next location walked me through how to return and what website to go to as well. Your location has a QR code but it opened an error page multiple times. As a result, I returned the vehicle the way Natalie showed me at the other location.

My original site was changed to this one. They didn't have the dollies I asked for, which added costs in the form of extended time with the movers I hired. Same with when they lost the key to the only 26 foot truck, and it turned out another employee who wasn't there had left it in the mobile box that "is broken". I've moved around every 2 years for the last 14 years, and I've exclusively used Uhaul, and this was among the most stressful moving day transactions (and one of those was for a cross-country move...). Once we were on the road, my husband/passenger called other Uhaul locations to see if they had an appliance dolly that we could rent. None did, but the MLK location in Merced especially juked us: the person who answered the phone said "Yes we have one, but it's not in inventory and my boss would have to add it for me to rent it." My husband asked if he was going to ask his boss. No. My husband replied, "So effectively, you do not have an appliance dolly to rent." The employee said, "Yeah, you could say that." I can deal with mishaps, technology and logistics are hard and the people who are wrangling them are doing their best, but offering something I want and can't have? That sucks in a special way.

Motor oil all over ramps from previous renter. Had to clean obvious mess before I could use trailer. Staff were plesant but took numerous photos with phone without asking or notifying us. Would not recommend this dealer to others...

Was disappointed to deal with this location particularly . I worked with different Uhaul location recently and they have an amazing customer service. This location unfortunately was the worst. Employee seemed don't want any customer or something. She gave me a bad experience overall. Not happy with this location only.

I had a reservation 8/31/22 in Sonora,Ca to pick-up a 15' truck and a Vehicle Transport? that morning U-HAUL in Sonora let me know I had to go to Ceres, Ca one hr there and one hr back and about 3hrs? I didn't get to start using the truck till after lunch? I couldn't finish in time because I got such a late start and the guy in Harbour, ore told me he didn't have reservations for my vehicles but I would still have to pay for an extra day? what part of what happened to me do u think I should tell my friends? that's alot of not customer service for over $1000.00?

Interior of vehicle needed to be cleaned up. Cup holders all needed to be washed I did not want to place my water bottle in any of them. Matt in the rental office was very polite and professional. Vehicle operated well. Thank you.

Offer a 10% Veterans discount. Don't make the customer drive 45 miles one way to pick up equipment. Have it for them at the customer local U-haul location.

When I made my reservation and selected the drop off location, it showed that they did not open until 10am. I received 3 phone calls from them starting at 9:10am asking what time I would return the trailer. I returned their call at 9:43 am and let them know I would be there in about 20 minutes. I then received another phone call at 9:55 am asking once again what time I would be there. It became very frustrating and they were acting like I was going to steal the trailer just because I did not return it before they opened. Once I arrived it was no better, an impatient man waiting for the trailer immediately approached my car telling me they had been calling because he was waiting for the trailer. I told him I needed to go in the office to check it back in. He proceeded to unhook the trailer from mu car while I was inside. The young woman at the desk was very frazzled and immediately asked me if I was the one bringing her trailer when I walked in. The entire return experience was frustrating and I will not do business at this Uhaul location again.

I was very disappointed to find out after driving 3hrs to our UHaul location that they did not have my truck available. They rerouted me an hour out in the opposite direction to pick up the truck. It set us back and made us late to our destination, not to mention the gas to drive in the opposite direction(1hr there and a 1 1/2hrs back). No compensation for that! Only additional miles to make up the difference from the two UHaul locations. I counting on UHaul to have my reservation held since I was traveling a long distance and it was not.
