An attempt was made to have additional mileage charged which was 37 kms total. The rental came with 49 km included if I picked the vehicle up the previous day. After a discussion it was clear that 37 Kms is less then 49 Kms and no further charges were incurred.

As I booked from park which was nearer to my destination, and then received call that you need to pick from pinkie Road, for that reason I need to pay for more 30-40kms due to change of pick up address. Nice way of earning.

Staff had little to, no idea how to run the software to rent me what I wanted. It took them, 30 minutes to enter all the data, and even then, they sent me on my way before the transaction was complete. I left as instructed. On a different note, I only use a travel MC when I do rentals or online shopping, been burned to many times. Your company DOES NOT ACCEPT THIS TYPE OF PAYMENT!!

There was a huge miscommunication on the dropping off portion of the rental. I was told that I needed to take pictures of the unit if I returned it after hours. I did exactly that. I took pictures to verify it was indeed back before 8:30. The store center never checked in the unit until Friday when it was returned on midday. they then proceeded to bill me for the whole time that hadn't checked to see if it was back. instead of calling to see when i returned it or checking their cameras as to when i returned it they just billed me an extra 240.00 plus tax because that is the lazy thing to do.

Worst experience from uhaul I have ever had. The individual working the counter was rude and did not know how to do her job. Right from the start she was disrespectful and ended up paying more that originally agreed upon due to this locations faulty equipment and lack of knowledge of the individual working the counter. To end all this she threw my paperwork and keys at me through the window. Considering I have physical disabilities this was a disgusting display and honestly will continue to tell people about her and this locations awful service and behavior.

Sevice reps were very good. Trucks exterior very dirty, but was a last minute change as a different location wasn't able to complete my reservation as that truck was not returned. Location was good, on line reservation needs attention, but they don't face the customer.

Very expensive cost almost 500$ to rent a 10ft truck for 2 days and another 180$ in fuel to drive 230 km don't waste you money on a uhaul it would cost close to the same to hire movers

It took me well over an hour to get the truck I booked for, after even booking online and your agent gave me the location to go to, on getting there the attendant was not well trained had to be on the phone and asking series of questions to answer me. He said I had to rebook the reservation again that my details are not on his system, after a long process he saw my details again they gave me a lot of issues getting and returning the truck, infact I was so overbilled. U-Haul is not what it seems to be, this is some sort of extortion with my experience.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at U-Haul Location in Regina Hi there, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the customer service I experienced at your U-Haul location at Saulteaux Crossing, Pinkie Road, Regina. On 22 July 2023, I visited the mentioned location to rent a U-Haul vehicle for my moving needs. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the behavior of the counter lady on duty. Despite being busy with ESSO customers, she made me wait for an extended period and was extremely rude during our interaction. I requested to go through the steps of the vehicle inspection before finalizing the rental, as I believe it is essential to ensure the accuracy of the condition report. However, the counter lady outright denied my request and insisted that I take the vehicle without inspection. When I persisted and asked to have a walk-around inspection with her, she became defensive and started shouting, stating that it was not her responsibility and that other customers were waiting for her. The lack of professionalism and unwillingness to provide adequate customer service was deeply disappointing. As a paying customer, I believe I have the right to receive courteous and efficient service, which regrettably was not the case during my visit. Furthermore, when I asked for a written report of the vehicle's condition, the counter lady refused to share the document with me. This raised concerns about transparency and the accuracy of the inspection process, leaving me uncertain about potential discrepancies that might arise after the vehicle's return. I have been a loyal customer of your company for several years and have always appreciated the convenience and reliability of your services. However, this recent encounter has left me with a negative impression, and I am now questioning whether I should continue to patronize your U-Haul location in the future. I strongly urge you to address this issue promptly and take appropriate measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur. As a valued customer, I believe it is crucial for your company to uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism. I request that you investigate this matter thoroughly, provide necessary training for your staff on handling customer inquiries and complaints, and implement protocols to improve the overall customer experience. I was told I would be charged for the miles used but he lady at the counter charged me for 20miles when I actually used 10miles as recorded on the odometer. She refused to refund me . She was also rude and impertinent . Overall , poor customer service.

The online booking system is completely confusing. I tried multiple times and was confirmed to have a 20 foot truck to get a text saying I had a 10 foot truck booked. Had to call and speak to someone to book the proper truck 3 times. Truck I had booked had less than 30 miles of gas left in it so I put 50.00 in before I even left. The truck was fine the booking process is completely flawed.

The staff were not rude or inefficient, just quite cold and unprofessional. Plus, nobody warned me that the cab doors would lock if I stepped out and left the engine running to warm up the truck. When I went back into the building to ask if there was a spare key, the staff looked at me as if it were the stupidest question and made it clear that getting the truck unlocked was my problem.

The equipment was absolutely filthy when I picked it up. When I took it home, I had to totally clean the whole inside. It was actually to the point of disgusting. I was given an under powered unit that barely made it up the mountain passes. Overall it cost me a fortune in fuel because of the lack of power or something was wrong with it. Not happy.

You should advertise the real rates per km. Your webpage advertise a rate of $0.79 per km and I got charged $1.27 And maybe you should consider having a better cleaning protocol do customers don’t have to drive filthy trucks

We phoned in to book a truck and then a couple days before pick up get a call it’s not at that location it’s only available at another location 10kms away! Then we get there for pick up and the uhaul employee who called to change location did not set up online pick up because we needed truck at 8am and new location didn’t open till 9am and we had to wait for an hour for place to open! We had to call in at 8am to see what was wrong with online check in as it wouldn’t work and were offered a $50 credit and it has not shown up yet … don’t even know if it’s coming or not. Is it ?? Just a gong show

The inside was strong with cigarette smell and was very dusty. The truck could use a washer fluid fill as well. My experience with pinkie road location was excellent. She was so friendly and attentive to me. Reminded me of everything I needed to do. Was a great experience.

One of the worst business transactions of any type I’ve ever had to go through. Thank goodness for the man on the phone from Uhaul customer service (which I was told to Google) who helped me with the situation at this location. I had rented and confirmed reserved a 20’ moving van a week prior to having move my family. I chose mobile option for an 8 am pick up. The person did not return the van on time which was supposed to be 7:30am, so I was deferred to having to wait for this business location to open at 9 am. Once inside I told them of the situation and they told me they had tried calling whoever had the rental I was supposed to be using, and that they were not answering their phone. So I asked if I could use one of the other three 20 foot moving vans on the lot or one of the two 26 foot moving trucks also on the lot, I was told no, they were reserved for other people. I then asked if there was another location I could go to to pick another one up, to which they responded no, there is nothing available for you, and there is nothing they could do. Obviously not an acceptable answer, as I had men waiting over an hour now to help me move, which was planned a week ago, and my family to move as our agreement was to be out of our residence for this time period. I eventually googled Uhaul customer service’s number, as instructed by the lady behind the desk, to which a gentlemen on the phone had to talk to the ladies working, because they for some reason decided to literally ignore me and my questions of how am I going to move my family with no truck? He told them that there WAS a vehicle on the lot I could use that matched my exact rental requirements. After the paperwork was done and just the keys were left to be handed over, one of the ladies behind the desk held the keys over her head and said, “ we don’t have to give the keys to you, just because We have a truck doesn’t mean we have to give it to you.” From just wanting to pick up what was confirmed and supposed to be contactless pick up to having to almost beg an individual to please let me use this Uhaul that I had paid for and reserved to move my family. Upon returning the vehicle one of the same two individuals was working again and began the returning process of the van. I was told I owe another $43 and I said ok why is that? She said I don’t know probably because you are 15 min late. Not wanting to deal with this person or location anymore I just paid the amount (which ended up being for going over the original stated miles). After I paid I was told, “ok, you can leave now, go.” I for sure wilL never be back to this particular location, nor would I EVER recommend it.

This was probably the worst ever experience with U-Haul. First the truck was booked and then I received a call for non availability of the truck. I booked again and told that my friend would pick up the truck as this moving was from Weyburn to Regina. I mentioned my friend's name and cell number but nobody let him pick up the truck at the booked time. My friend was told by some guy that the same truck was booked to him almost at the same time. Finally my friend picked up the truck after one and half hour. I hope you guys will make it better as I had good experiences with U-Haul before this one. Thanks.

Worst Experience with UHaul. They confirmed a booking for a truck that was not available made me drive around to 3 different locations and finally got a truck 3 hrs late. For someone who had movers ready we had to wait 3 hrs had to pickup the truck almost 20kms away and they made me lose money and time. When I called the rep listen to me put me on hold and never came back Imlost one hour on the beening given the rina round until I finally hung up. This is the worst services ever. Uhaul really disappointed me.

Computer was really slow the day we picked up. Took nearly 45 mins to get our truck. Not related to this location, we never got a call the day before to confirm booking. Waited and waited and it made the whole experience very stressful. Not until I logged in online did I see the address changed and I called them to get confirmation the truck was there. This was after calling the 1-800 number and waiting 20 minutes before the hold system dropped my call. I was very upset at this situation.

I booked the truck for masse rd and it got switched to pinkie road. That was at least 20kms that I had to pay extra on top of the gas and it was very inconvenient.The box of the truck was dirty and had to be swept out before we put anything in it. The customer service was excellent, the staff very helpful!

It’s at a gas station so there is no excuse to have no gas in it. Also we had to add oil. This should have been done. The unit was filthy., I mean filthy. We had to clean interior in order to travel in it. The interior windshield had a drink splashed all over it.

(1.) Have the truck fully fueled-up (i.e., ready with a full tank of fuel) rather than the 3/4ths of a tank at pickup that I started with. This would make filling-up at drop-off time both easier & fairer. (2.) Put proper windshield-wiper fluid (i.e., with detergency action) into the wipers' reservoir, rather than what seemed to just have been plain water in this case. Having good windscreen-wiping fluid to be able to rely on is an important safety element while driving, especially on a highway when being passed by heavy trucks at speed in inclement weather.

These people at 1600 pinkie road(Regina, Sk) are sketchy! They tried to get more money out of me than what was supposed to be paid for. Uhaul needs to do better in terms of accessing who provides this service on their behalf.
