I wish I had taken a picture if the fuel level when I picked it up. It was under a 1/4 tank. We returned it well over that. I don't think I was told to take photos prior to taking it on the trip. I never got a text ir email after I picked it up. Communication regarding this was missing. Glad we had no problems though.David W.

Got taken3weeks ago when I was QUARANTINED from Hillcrest ? I reported it to U-Haul over the phone and never heard back, can you please let me know more details, and what I owe(Mileage, etc...). This is about UHaul in general, and NOT the drop off location. I returned the truck with more gas in it than I received it with, and UHaul tried to charge me $60 for gas. My printed UHaul contract clearly stated I received the truck with quarter tank (also person at pick up location confirmed that's what I had to return the truck with, and pretty sure it was also confirmed during the online check in process). I returned it with almost half a tank. Watch out for "out" and "in" mileage and gas level people, because UHaul can try to charge you extra for at least one of those, and you have to be ready to prove them wrong.Edit K.

I requested self service pick up, Turns out the location lied they do not offer self service pick up so I was forced to wait over a half an hour until the store opened and to add insult to injury the guy Was late. Then if that weren't enough he had no idea of our reservations thankfully we are able to get our truck and be on our way but when I checked my truck on the app to confirm The drop off location I noticed that my reservation was no longer on the app or in the computer under my account. I then had to spend 15 minutes waiting for customer service to let me know that my reservation has been canceled and now they would have to recharge my card and try to Reactivate my reservation. They were able to re-activate my reservation but they did not add the drop off location so I ended up having to call to find out where I was supposed to drop the dump truck off this has been nothing but misery and I will think twice before using U-Haul again. The only positive note was Clark's travel center they were very nice very professional and I wish the other location has been as good.Lucy C.

Had chairs that needed to be picked up. 20 to be exact. Not knowing how big of a truck to get. Called uhaul in Santee spoke to a really nice knowledgeable gentleman who suggested a 10' truck. Turned out to be the perfect size and the price could not be beat. Everything was easy. The booking, the pick up, clean, smooth and comfy driving truck with plenty of pick up..( V8).. the return delivery. Had no hassle at all... Would not hesitate to do this again when needed. I would like a bill larger than a postage stamp. My son stated that the total (which is too small to read) is twice the price that was quoted. This was a one night turn around to AZ and back. Please send with a clear outline of how it got to be over $1,000.JON G.

The system took 30 min past my scheduled appointment, there was a guy holding a gun at the store, and my driver seat door wouldn't close right. Overall the custermer service was lacking and the service was just terrible and I felt uncomfortable the whole time! I will not be recommending because of those issues I had to encounter.Walter L.
