The location was fine, and the person was helpful, but the experience leading up to informing me that that's where I would need to pickup was awful. First time learn to his your uhaul return web portal. I enter the gas and pictures. But was not right. The clerk there help me out . The 15 foot truck drink a lot of gasoline. And heavy .Alan Y.
The entire cab of the truck was infested with ants. They got all over everything! Even after cleaning the ants up, they returned. I can only figure that they have a nest somewhere within, perhaps underneath the hood, the dash, or the doors.Jonathan S.

The last two times we've rented there it has not been good. No-one has been there and I was paying three staff members both times to wait. All an all it was over an hour each time (it wasn't during there lunch hour). This last time no-one ever showed up and we tried to check in online and that wasn't working so we found our van with a sign and the keys in the van. I am not sure if the staff has changed or if he is having any personal difficulties but this is not the same service as to previous rentals. Please reach out and let us know because this is the most convenient location for us and we use them almost weekly.Traci C.

The website was not updated with instructions to get my key when I logged in, and I had to sit on customer service for 1 hour before getting access because the office was not open yet. I was an hour behind schedule for my move which made other steps more complicated. I ordered moving blankets with my truck and was not notified that they were out of stock, so I was left without day-of. If I was notified prior I could have made arrangements. If the site is not opened for public holiday weekend. It might as well not doing business at all during the holiday. I rented this van based on there is in person service but it converts to online a week before. When I get there and after I do the online verification, my van's key is being assigned to another customer before me. I called a few number shown on the van and they just quickly ignore me and hang up. Eventually, I got a hold of someone from the 1 800 number and the lady there gave me a big help and re-assigned me to another van. It wasted me one hour under the hot sun. I have an issue where I reserved and was charged for the rental of a utility dolly, but this site stated that they do not have any utility dollys available, which made my move much more difficult. The attendant stated that he would remove that rental fee from my bill, but it has not been removed at all. Additionally, I believe that there needs to be better advertising for the 10' truck, as I was unaware when renting it that it does not have a loading ramp, which again made things much more difficult for my moving experience. In total, I do not believe I will ever be going with Uhaul again for my moving needs, as the rental experience was wildly unpleasant and exceedingly difficult from start to finish.Jonathan C.

Windows too dirty to see through. Had to clean them. Transmission got stuck in 2nd gear twice on highway. No remote control key fob. Previous van rental here had none of these problms. But, I would still recommend this location.Matthew S.

It's not the location I picked up the truck. It's the fact that UHaul changed my reserved pick up location the day of my scheduled pick up. It required me to make a 4 hour round trip for my scheduled trailer. I could not do that. I had to get an alternate vehicle and incurred massive cost increases for the truck and fuel. Customer service does not apply with UHaul. Unapologetic, unaccommodating, and no discount for the inconvenience. They make their scheduling problems the consumers problem. I will do everything in my power not to use UHaul in the future. UHaul sucks, but has a monopoly so it goes.John D.

The App didn't work for me the morning I came to pick up the truck! My son also tried on the App to find the green button to click on to pick up truck & nothing! It did confirm I had a reservation but that was all. Not until 9:00am all of a sudden I got an email prompting me & then I was able to retrieve the key from the lock box. Overall I'm happy with the customer service & truck performance but the App was terrible.Raymond B.

The experience overall was terrible. Starting with checkin process. Why in world would you need to make calls to "verify" an existing customer. Your software is a glitchy piece of junk. Recommend only if close by. Bed was filthy, leaves, dirt, and papers. Outside, including windshield were dirty. Dolly had a broken wheel. Steering wheel was at 2 o'clock when driving straight.David J.

I should have asked when the offices would be closed for lunch. My job was done early and what the drop off process would be like. I prefer in person transacation so I dropped the equipment and came back after lunch. Not a big deal for me, but something to keep in mind for morning rentals. Parking lot had no lights or signage. I walked around the whole parking lot looking for the keys. When I did find the keys, the lock was jammed and took so much thumb strength that I was sure it was either broken or I was doing something wrong. The instructions in the app were also written with English grammar that was difficult to interpret the true meaning of. This bad experience was preceded by another an hour earlier where my 24/7 reservation was messed up in Berkeley. I was practically forced to drive almost 100 extra miles that night (2 round trips, one in my car and one in the uhaul) because of this silly mistake on the part of Mail Boxes Plus in Berkeley. Overall an atrocious night. I should have returned my truck by 930 with the Berkeley reservation.. a simple couch move. Instead I was driving until midnight between San Ramon and Berkeley. :/James G.

24/7 rental was not ready at the time of pickup (9:30); I had to call U-Haul direct so they could reach out to the location and have someone â€œcome downstairs to help me.â€ I left a half hour late which impacted my schedule that day. The storage facility staff are nice and the place is secure, however rats got into all of our stuff and a lot of our furniture is now ruined since it is covered in feces and urine. We did not have any food or drink stored in our unit, so I am thinking maybe they went after some cleaning supplies or something.
