We have used this facility for storage on 3 different occasions for about 6 months each. We've also rented UHaul vehicles from here several times. The office is always helpful, especially Rose! They maintain the facility to keep it clean. Highly recommend!

EDWARD FHave the rental lady check her very poor attitude.she acted like it was a huge inconvenience to rent a truck from her and stated she is allergic to smoke and could smell it on my clothes even though she was behind a plexiglass wall.Very POOR Attitude any body else would have slapped her silly. RUSSELL BI was late 1 month and they charged me a late fee and my normal storage fee and took that out of my debit card without my permission and never notified me on what they did. And now I know I'll wait forever for my deposit. The normal staff that was always there gave you an attitude at times and not very friendly. I will definitely go somewhere else if I need storage again.

Keith HI had to wait while the lady was on the phone with someone else while I was there. Told me the wrong truck, didn't tell me to match it with the tag until I came back in and asked. ( I'm a first time U-Haul user) definitely not using them again. The inside of the truck wasn't clean. Truck was hard to turn on. Thankfully the truck had a full tank of gas.

Juliette PThe place qaa closed due to a power outage, but workers were there. We dropped off the trailer. Went to let them know they gestured for us not to come to the door, so we could not tell them anything. They charged me for a extra day, I did not have it for a extra day!!! Was not my fault the power was out and should not of been charged for an extra day.....
JENNIFER DI originally had a reservation for another location on Route 184. I was told that my reservation was moved to another location to the fact they didn't have trucks. I had someone stay and check on to see if they had trucks and they did all day long. Your manager they are Ryan is a total racist. He discriminates against people according to their color as well as he's a sexist. I have rented from Uhaul over 40 times and never been treated so bad. I will make sure to put out the word in the area about the racist people you hire as well as the sexism that is occurring at that location.

CONRAD HThe price at this location was higher than I was quoted when I made the reservation. It was double what I expected to pay. I rented a simple pick up and was quoted around $22 and when I picked it up the next day it was $53. It was $39.95 just to rent the truck for the day. When everywhere it's advertised and I was quoted $19.95.

MICHAEL MThere should be a warning on your site or your app that people need to pre-planned to be there a half hour to 45 minutes to an hour before they pick up time your app is ridiculously slow my boyfriend's paper license from the DMV wasn't good enough and needed the old expired license. We had to leave the lot and go back to his house to get his expired license. Would people are moving or whatever experience brings them to need a truck, people are tired and ragged might have been up all night making boxes so these are the things you need to put in bold print on your app. It was a lot to wait in the parking lot for 20 plus minutes while whoever on the other side of the approved my boyfriend's photos of his ID.

JOHN SThe 15ft truck I booked wasn't available so we had to take a 10ft. That really messed things up. I am so grateful for the lady at the storage place for trying so hard to find us a truck. She was fantastic, but uhaul as a company is awful. This is the second time where I have made a reservation and then Uhaul has not followed through and it messed up my plans. I will no longer be using Uhaul. And to be very clear, this is entirely the companies fault, not the self storage place or the wonderful lady who works in the office there.

Steven C | Overall ExperienceI was over charged and over filled the gas beyond what I was when I started. I was given a drop off 11 miles beyond where I was moving and charged for that too. I was charged extra fees I didn't sign up for. I moved 26.9 miles and added extra gas to a 10 foot truck from Groton, CT to Westbrook, CT and returned the truck 5 hours early with extra gas. Please credit my account. This is not what zi agreed to pay.

Matthew ROur truck did not come with the moving pads we ordered. When we went to the office for assistance, the associate couldn't have been more rude, rolled her eyes at us, and stated that there was nothing she could do. She acted like we were such an inconvenience to her. It definitely complicated our move not having our anticipated moving pads

Hiram PI rented a trailer and UHaul doesn't sell the 7 round to the the 4 pin connector that is needed to hook up a trailer to a standard car. I had to leave and go to a Walmart to buy the adapter. Simple item that should be on site.

Stephen BBack door of truck was frozen shut. Didn't seem to know anything about my reservation and what I was renting (dolly and furniture dolly) despite having called 30 minutes prior to arriving. The woman there was nice enough at least.

Set everything up on line only to find out the next day my trailer was located 11 miles away going in the opposite direction. Not fair to me. I was on a tight time line.
gary mYour company consistently tries to screw customers over on mileage overages. Left Groton CT nd the agent put down 80 miles and when I returned the truck to Guilford they had 40 miles and charged me for the extra miles. When I orginally booked I was curious about the your billing methodology . So I price again using surrounding Towns and the rate was the same whether I was going to a Town 40 miles away or 90 milles away, But yet when I returned the vehicle you always charge the customer an overage! I am reporting this scam to the FTC
Robert MI rented a trailer for 4 days, I returned it a day early, I never received a receipt until I called 2 days later and was sent a receipt showing 3 days rental but my bank account was charged for all 4 a $50 difference
Bryan WReturning on mobile app was a little buggy. Photos kept being deleted and I had to do certain sections multiple times. Other than that my experience was smooth.

jim fUhaul was checked in at this location by mistake and has caused me to be on the phone with Uhaul figuring out my rental for three days.
Tomas MPoor customer service. When I questioned my final charges, they were quick to pass the buck to uhaul. Uhaul may set the policies, but they are representives of Uhaul, the face the customer sees, and should represent better. I will never rent from this location again or recommend them.
Emily LThis was the second time that I reserved a trailer at this location only to have UHAUL change the pickup location despite the equipment being available. That resulted in me having to cancel the reservation both times and starting over at the correct location. It would be a large improvement if traffic control stopped changing the reservations needlessly
Mark RReservation, pick-up and return all were very good. The van was clean and in excellent condition, and was exactly what I needed for my one day project. The staff member who processed my pick-up had lost internet at the office due to a storm, but was able to complete it on her phone. Nice job by her, and a productive day for me.

ZENAIDA VFront desk employee was rude and short with me. Did not want to answer my questions. The equipment to move items was very old and run down. Corners were tight in the storage facility which made it difficult to move large objects. The facility was also warmer than it was outside. Did not feel climate controlled.
Max PIf ever in need of a storage unit in the future I would return great job.
ROBERT B | Overall ExperienceThe only issue I had with this facility was after I returned the trailer. I got a phone call the next morning (Monday) saying that the trailer was missing the wiring for the lights. I had just purchased a whole wiring harness set and ball mount hitch from the gold star highway uhaul 2 days prior and installed ourselves. I know nothing of hooking it all up when you tow so my bf and the lady that was there Sunday did it. She took a picture bc apparently that's the policy to make sure it's hooked up right. When my bf went to the store to talk to the woman who called me she would not show him the picture of the hook up from the day before to show her what it looked like then and now. I haven't been charged anything extra as or now, but im confused as to why she wouldn't show him the picture? "That's going to cost us $25." I have never had any issues renting with uhaul and always use them. She said it was possible someone stole it (but it was not me) I have the receipt for the ball and hitch and wiring harness I bought 2 days before I rented the trailer. I thought it was rude and unprofessional to not show him the picture he was asking to see to point out to her. I feel like she didn't know what she was talking about. That is all
