Drop off site was an auto shop, not a U-Haul site. Staff were friendly but indicated they were just a drop-off site and not responsible for any other U-Haul services. They said a U-Haul personnel would stop by their site to record the return and inspect the truck. They had a special U-Haul drop box for the keys. Two days later I received an email from U-Haul indicating I did not drop off the truck and trailer on time. After talking with Amy at U-Haul, apparently the staff at Richmond Auto did not record the return, as they were meant to. Amy took care of everything by the next day and cleared my contract. (ALL U-Haul staff I worked with or talked to during my entire contract period provided outstanding customer service!)

James HTryed to get the rental in honeoye, said it was unavailable so sent me to conesus. Got there and U-Haul was unavailable, then sent me to honeoye to get a U-Haul. Wasted over an hour of my time gas money and messed my moving plans. Next time will deal honeoye in person instead of you guys on the phone since you don't inform people of changes

sherry BTrailer had a couple dozen blankets in it that I didn't want and had to move multiple times. Richmond Auto is a great rental agent but the amount of paperwork you made them go through seems excessive.

Craig AI was a little upset when I found out I had to drive an extra 30 mins to get vehicle from another location. It was very far from original pick up near brockport.
Deirdre GIt would be nice to have a sign somewhere to know that it is a uhaul area. I didn't know this was location to pick up my truck until I saw the trailers in the back.
KAREN SThey were a new location and completely unprepared. While I sympathize with that it was a painfully long and arduous process. Did not have the equipment I reserved after calling and speaking with a representative the scheduler was able to accommodate. They did not have the blankets and the gas marking was not accurate.
Barbara WYour new method of checking in and out of rental equipment on line has a lot of problems! Took me over an hour to check rental equipment out before business was open This might be a result of a new account but checking equipment back in was a continued issue because app wasn't able to acknowledge my location at the return sight. All the individuals I dealt with on the help line were extremely patient and curtious as were the people at the return location

Chester vI was gouged over 50 + dollars days after drop off- when I called I was told extra mileage which is fair me is so and I had filled the tank at their pumps at drop off to 3/4 tank . I wads told it was at 11/16 instead of 3/4 and they couldn't give me a breakdown of how much was for mileage and how much they charged my for this fuel discrepancy ( other than the gouge they were great)

Michael MUhaul sucks! Why can I only review location and not their system? This location is fine, but the system that brought me to it sucked!!! I tried to reserve my van online where I was given a variety of options for availability: any location, any size, any half hour 24/7 pickup time, all listed as available. I scheduled a 20' van to pickup at the location closest to me at 8am. All seemed good until days later, the night before pickup I got a voicemail from a Uhaul rep at 7:30pm telling me that I had to get my truck from a different location at 10AM. I tried to call the number back, but it immediately forwarded me to an international call center where I had to wait on hold for 30minutes only to be told by the representative that they had no ability to make any changes to or reasonably answer any questions regarding my reservation. The rep then gave me the 'number of the scheduling manager' to call, which did nothing but led me back into the same international call center system all over again. I had to wait until the next day, and go to the new location 2 hours later than my original timeline. This new pickup location DID NOT have the size van I had reserved. Instead of a 20', they could only supply with a 15'. As a result, we had to take multiple trips. We had planned on a 1-way move, instead we had to go back for a second trip tripling our mileage. Then uhaul billed us for said extra mileage. When we finally got to the drop off location, the uhaul web app that they require you to self return your truck with didn't work. It got caught on a "you must enable location services" error, even with location services fully enabled (it failed to work on 2 separate smart phones properly enabled). So we had to stress about being billed more money for the 'convenience fee' of having an employee complete the return process for us the next day. We ended up throwing the keys in the dropbox and bailing since their return app did not work. All in all, uhauls overall management, scheduling, and web app systems are complete garbage. These individual locations are fine, but the infrastructure they have to run under is complete trash. I am avoiding uhaul at all costs in the future.

Terrence COne thing that can be improve is the availability of vehicles and trailers in the location I came from wish is Batavia NY, I had to drive one hour and thirty minutes to go get the trailer and the same time to go back, if there was any available in Batavia I could safe some money on gas and some time to load my belongings.

Stanley WPick up was scheduled 40 miles away from my preferred location and I was not notified of this until one day before pickup. This location was not clean, very busy, and understaffed.
AnneMarie CV unhelpful. Needed to change the towing ball on our Jeep but unable to borrow wrench from them (garage with a mechanic on site!) which meant traveling home and back again - 10 miles. Blankets ordered and paid for not available.

Dale WYou charge me $5.00 to keep.your business up. You should have trucks.inspeted more. Coming out of N.Y. we hit la snow storm. WINDSHIELD WIPERS were not working properly. I'm to short to reach them. After arriving my ANTIUE9 FURTNIYURE was WET! THERE is a leak in the roof.
