The service and equipment is very good. The location however is not a good location. There'd a high crime rate right behind the area and it's in an extremely high traffic area which increases the chances of an accident. The office itself is inside a laundromat that has been known to have crime.

I didn't see any moving supplies available at this location, which may be helpful to some people. Attendant was excellent and kind! Only thing I didn't like was going into the gate and finding my own truck. Pulling up by the attendant would've been much more efficient.

The location itself was fine--the office is inside a laundromat. But the man we did business with was fantastic--very kind, efficient, and friendly. I believe his name was Carlton. We would rent again from this location again because of him.

No improvements. The clerk that i dealt with was very knowledgeable and very kind. My day started off terribly with my original Uhaul reservation but he quickly made up for that. the turn-in process was quick and easy. That man deserves a raise.

This is the second time I've been to this location since it's right next to where I live, but it doesn't seem compatible with the online customer experience. The first time I rented a dolly and then was told they don't even carry dollies at that location. So why could I rent one online? The second time I was told by mobile check-in to locate the vehicle before going to get the keys, but the U-Hauls are all kept behind a locked gate that when I walked past it because it was open the attendant got on my case for doing so and told me to get my equipment by going to the counter. Then at the counter he tried to tell me that I have to present my ID and my credit card even though online check-in says I don't need to. Customer service is questionable and the in-person experience isn't in line with what's communicated online. Very frustrating and uncomfortable. I shouldn't have to defend myself for following the steps in the online check-in.

Truck wouldn’t go over 30 mph, the guy let me keep it an extra day he said for 40 dollars but then charged me 102 dollars. I even put more gas in then it was when I got it.

Carlton was the person we dealt with on site. Warning! Office is a little difficult to find - it’s inside the laundromat but office is very clean. It is on major highway in Columbia. We had made a reservation and truck was ready for us to use when we arrived. Out the door in less than fifteen minutes. Same with checkin. After a long day of moving stuff in 95 degree heat, so glad within ten minutes we were ready to go home!! They are open seven days a week so very convenient.

This is my preferred location, but the truck we picked up today had an empty beer can under the driver’s seat and a heavy smoke smell in the bed. We had to spray it down before loading our items in. Otherwise everything was as expected and worked well. I am grateful we were not pulled by the police as both the type of smoke and beer fan could have spelled trouble for us. My guess is he handed me a key from a truck he thought was ready and he meant to hand me the key to the truck parked next to the one we received.

I reserved a 10’ uhaul from Mid guard on atlas rd when I got there they had no rental for me put me in a very very bad situation and the manager was a complete jerk however red door on garners ferry had one I was late for my pickup appointment but I got it all back

After returning the unit I was charged $75 plus tax for fuel. I strongly dispute this charge as I stopped at a local gas station and filled the tank until the gas gauge read 1/2 tank. I was responsible to have 3/8 of a tank but wanted to put in more gas to make sure that I wasn't charged for fuel. As the gas gauge read 1/2 tank, I will not pay this amount and will dispute the $75 plus tax portion of my final invoice total.
