Not very customer friendly. I was running a minute or two behind before they closed. I call the number on the contract about four times before the owner answered on a cell phone to tell him I was on my way before they closed. He was not at all accommodating when he responded by saying if the people working are not there when I get there he's not â€œlosing anythingâ€. Also, I reserved the rental for 24 hours and I received a call from the company saying they were expecting it to be returned four hours earlier. They were told to check the reservation. I would not be a repeat customer and would not recommend a friend simply because the response I'd gotten and lack of communication.Reginald O.

Brakes were starting to squeal. Window handle on driver's side was broken. AC did not seem to cool on upper setting. When set to blow both on chest and feet, it cooled better. Vehicle was very clean and was wiped down just prior to my use. U-Haul's rates are deceptive. $19.95 sounds great, but the coercive statement about replacing vehicle the day of any accident leaves little choice, so essentially is a forced fee, and should be advertised. And then there is mileage cost, plus gas refill. $20 become nearly $60. Why not add in a $10 fee per tire for wear? Staff was efficient and professional, tolerating this grumpy old man with grace.Kim S.

I was not informed that my vehicle could not remain on-site by the rep that checked out the truck. The location called after I was already working and told me that if it was not moved before 5:00 p.m. that it would be locked in from Friday to Tuesday. They need better communication with customers concerning parking and the fact that they lock the gate after hours.ARTURO A.
I wasn't going to gig the star system here, but my map kept saying that uHaul was a part of the church down the street. Then I tried calling the phone number and no one answered. We went to rent our reserved U-haul 26' truck Saturday. Rental process exceptionally long. After process was finished, we told them we would drop off at a Uhaul near our destination (50 miles away) only to find out the truck was owned by the property we rented from and had to be returned Sunday. We had no option but to rent as movers were waiting to load. Because they weren't open on Sunday, we were charged $20 for an "after hours" return. That's in addition to the additional $50 charged to drive back to their location (plus having to have someone me up.) Inconvenient and costly! When we called to reserve, if we had been told, "yes we have a 26' truck, but it's local rental only", we would have looked elsewhere!Dana B.

My experience was very frustrating to say the least. I booked online. When It was time for pickup the location was closed. I had to call the 800# to get my reservation changed to another location. The customer service agent was not very knowledgeable. She finally reserved me a truck. As asked if the location was open on Sunday for me to drop it off. She had to check with the scheduler. She came back on the call as said the location was open on Sunday. On Sunday, I arrived to drop off the truck, the location was closed and the gates were locked. I spent time again calling 800# trying to find out what to do. This time the agent was knowledgeable. She called the scheduler and give me specific instructions on what to do. From beginning to end this was not a pleasant experience and the truck had a warning indicator that a tire was low when I picked it up. Will not rent from UHaul again.Vonda G.

The woman informed me that I had to return my truck before 5. I show up to return the truck at 11 am and they have their gate closed and I can't return. I go back home and I proceed to call and hour later. Still no response and the voicemail is full. I call every hour up until 5pm and no response. I wait until the next morning and go to return it and after speaking with the woman at the desk she tried to charge me for an extra day which was not gonna happen. She told me she had to go and get something so she closed the gate. That's on you not me, so charging for you having to run errands is not happening.Jessica N.

First let me say, I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Guillermo (very sweet and kind gentlemen). Now to my only complaint, I called upset because I was looking over my contract after reserving my rental. I noticed it said I reserved a 15' truck not a 10' truck as requested. Which means I'm spending $10 more for the rental. It was explained to me that the 10' truck was not available. But I would have preferred and it would have been better if I were told that at the time of my reservation. I should have been given the courtesy of making the decision of whether to take the 15' or go somewhere else. Instead I didn't find out until after reading the contract days later. However with that said, Guillermo remain very calm with me on the phone (I was not calm at all) and professional. Overall the customer service was great. The truck was immaculate! No dents, no trash in the cab or trailer, and smelled clean. All of which I throughly appreciate. I would return and definitely recommend THIS location to others.Kimberly W.

While the young lady at the counter was pleasant, she was NOT at all knowledgeable about the optional protection products she offered. I did end up purchasing their protection package, only to go outside and find the dolley we were going to be using to tow our sons car to him in WV was damaged. The neck on the trailer was bent. The worker who hooked the dolley to my truck was no help because he spoke no English. I attempted to inform the older man from inside the building, but he attempted to discount the damage. I asked to have it at least documented on my contract prior to leaving; he told me he â€œwas not going to do that.â€ When I made him aware that I was concerned whether I would have problems with the vehicle staying in line with the truck while in tow, the man told me he was probably not going to be able to rent it to me since I was concerned about safety issues. He stated he didn't want to be responsible for anything. When I informed him that I'd already purchased the protection plan he stated he would mark the damage with some tape but that was ALL he could do. My only other option was to try and find another dolley at the last minute. That posed a huge problem with our travel plans as we had already pre-paid for our hotel which had a non-refundable policy. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated and felt my intelligence had been insulted.Johnnie G.

We had a 9:45 a.m. appointment the location did not open until 11 a.m. we had to call six to seven times before we finally got someone to answer the phone we were an hour late for our appointment to pick up the tardiness of the owner cost of serious delays throughout the day. I cannot say I will ever use this location again nor can I recommend it to a friend and in the end this experience cost me over a hundred dollarsConnie B.
