The gas was well below a quarter of a tank when picked up yet well over a quarter when I returned; was told I would receive a discount for this - disappointed this did not happen!Denis J.
The pictures that were supposedly of this unit were either very very old or of a previous iteration of the trailer. The owner was very rude about me being slightly late for picking up a trailer that I had checked in online, paid for and was 1 hr late picking it up. He said he tried to cancel my rental so he "could book it again". The trailer wiring was in very poor shape and the trailer had no "running lights" operating. The right brake light was intermittent. I secured better wiring for my safety. The securing straps were frayed and unusable. The chains, hitch point, and sliders all desperately need lubrication. And finally, at least two of the rims were bent and the trailer vibrated at speeds.Daniel F.

The Unit I rented had missing tie downs hook rings in the rear of the unit. it also was an old model and did not have the rails that you could hook stuff to on the walls. Overall, my belief is that this unit should be updated or taken out of commission. Thx, HUGH CARPENTER (919) 995 -1201HUBERT C.

This location is absolutely HORRIBLE. Their lack of service to the customer was extremely poor. I ended up breaking my leg (actually breaking my leg) and going to the Emergency Room off of lack of any personnel reviewing or telling me how to get out of my car once on the dolly. I am really considering suing this location as well as UHAUL for no instructions or assistance. In addition, once I was released from the ER I returned to find the tire flat which I had to find resources to pump up myself. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DO NOT RECOMMEND. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!Karen C.

the original pick up site 1702 Mechanical Blvd did not have trailer. They did nothing to help us other than tell us to call 800 number for U haul. We waited on the phone for 40 mins before getting a representative. She was nice and took care of us, but the whole picking up a trailer was a nightmare.MARK H.

Man felt as if I was incompetent to attach the trailer even after being told it was under control. Explained there was a mistake for what I was charged for and was told that it would be changed and refunded and has not been.THERESA B.
The truck had trash and hair clips in it and the steering wheel was very greasy. We reserved a 10 ft truck because the website said it had a ramp but it didn't so we had to switch to a 15 ft at the store.ROBERT L.

I had a reservation at Buckhorn Duncan General Stor and I was several hours late. They rented to another customer but they did not give me a courtesy call or nothing. Agent reserved what I needed at a location less than 10 minutes away and when I got there, what i had reserved was hooked up and leaving.. what is the purpose of a reservation if y'all can't honor it. I was unable to successfully make my move because of the deceptive practices in your industry.DOROTHY L.

So yes they guy was nice and the truck was clean. I'm pretty sure the truck was smoked in. I had a hard time using the key in the ignition. It worked but a few tries. Honestly the guy was nice but the location and environment was smoky, run down, and not something I would want to bring my childern to.ADAM S.

After having such a hard time with uhaul and literally wasting all of my Saturday we dropped off the uhaul the same day as we were charged fir extra miles. The location made it fun to be there. The gentleman that set me up and checked me out at the end was very pleasant, helpful and personable and fun. The location told me they did not have the appliance hand truck after I got there and offered no solution. The man checking me in was vulgar. He dropped an f bomb in front of me. The truck was filthy and smelled terrible. I have pictures. It was so bad I had to wash my clothes after I finished the move. This was a horrible experience.Robert M.

I made the reservation on line and put my credit card for guarantee and when I got there to pick up the owner told me he can not rent it because he was going to have someone one way and was more money. So I went ahead I had a garantes reservation and I was going to get $50 if he refused to let rent the auto doily and he made me wait over 35 minutes while he stand behind the counter never again at this placeXavier G.

The drop off experience was awful. I would advise that customers select another location to rent/drop off. The attendant did not assist with unhooking the trailer and went back inside the store. Meanwhile, another employee was blowing dust/debris at customer vehicles to make obscene sexual gestures towards me. I needed to quickly leave this very bad situation and left the rented blankets in the back of the trailer to avoid further interactions with this individual. I went home to find I had been charged a cleanup fee, presumably for not bringing in the blankets as instructed as the trailer was otherwise clean.Allison R.
