The truck had some trash in it...no biggie. The AC stunk like cigarette smoke. I had to turn it off despite the warm day. One package of furniture pads was wet and dirty. The gent that rented me the truck was cordial but he was not wearing a mask inside the business, in violation of the state mask mandate.ROBERT C.

I had a reservation at Buckhorn Duncan General Stor and I was several hours late. They rented to another customer but they did not give me a courtesy call or nothing. Agent reserved what I needed at a location less than 10 minutes away and when I got there, what i had reserved was hooked up and leaving.. what is the purpose of a reservation if y'all can't honor it. So yes they guy was nice and the truck was clean. I'm pretty sure the truck was smoked in. I had a hard time using the key in the ignition. It worked but a few tries. Honestly the guy was nice but the location and environment was smoky, run down, and not something I would want to bring my childern to.ADAM S.

After having such a hard time with uhaul and literally wasting all of my Saturday we dropped off the uhaul the same day as we were charged fir extra miles. The location told me they did not have the appliance hand truck after I got there and offered no solution. The man checking me in was vulgar. He dropped an f bomb in front of me. The truck was filthy and smelled terrible. I have pictures. It was so bad I had to wash my clothes after I finished the move. This was a horrible experience.Robert M.

I made the reservation on line and put my credit card for guarantee and when I got there to pick up the owner told me he can not rent it because he was going to have someone one way and was more money. So I went ahead I had a garantes reservation and I was going to get $50 if he refused to let rent the auto doily and he made me wait over 35 minutes while he stand behind the counter never again at this placeXavier G.

The drop off experience was awful. I would advise that customers select another location to rent/drop off. The attendant did not assist with unhooking the trailer and went back inside the store. Meanwhile, another employee was blowing dust/debris at customer vehicles to make obscene sexual gestures towards me. I needed to quickly leave this very bad situation and left the rented blankets in the back of the trailer to avoid further interactions with this individual. I went home to find I had been charged a cleanup fee, presumably for not bringing in the blankets as instructed as the trailer was otherwise clean.Allison R.

Extremely rude customer service, purposefully tried to overcharge us by adding insurance and supplies we said NO to and attempted to submit with the estimated 50 miles when we returned in person and showed the odometer of 16 miles. We got overcharged last time... they are scammers and after using them 3 times we will NEVER go back there and make sure to tell everyone else we can. I was not originally supposed to pick up from this location. Scheduled a week in advance to pick up in Fuquay Varina only to get called the day before and told the truck there has a check engine light and that I could go to another location in Fuquay. Then four hours later I get a call from that location telling me they don't have a truck or trailer for me either and that I would have to go to this third spot. Would've been nice for U-Haul to move the truck and trailer to my original pick up location but that did not happen. I was not originally supposed to pick up from this location. The clerk was having a personal conversation on the phone and dealing with other customers well going through the rental. Then just handed us the keys to the truck,did not come outside, did not do a walk-throughwith us, did not give us any paperwork, did not confirm that we knew how to hook up the trailer or see if we needed any help hooking up the trailer. He was the only person working and had to deal with the convenient store and his personal conversation instead.FRANCIS S.

A terrible experience. What should have taken ten minutes, took 45 minutes because of a slow comuter system, no fault of the location. Uhal needs to upgrade for brtter customer service. However, the business location was a store with gas pumps and they sell lottery tickets. There was one employee running everything. While trying to help me in s timely manner, he is on the phone with a Uhal IT tech person, selling and proceesing customers lottery tickets and answering questions. Earlier that morning before I got there Uhsl texted me advising to ssve time before picking up thr truck to ho online. After several attempts to prepay online, without my knowledge my bank blocked my credit card out of suspicion. All of this was because of Uhal's computer system. I was required to pay with cash and I was informed that it would require a sizable deposit. I will no longer use Uhal.Thomas H.

On the other hand I had a 10ft truck reserved at another location Nobody was there and your "app" kept locking up. I got frustrated after 30 minutes and drove to Piney Grove location. I will NEVER reserve a truck using your "app" It could not suck more if you tried. I had to spend more money to get this truck.Timothy K.
