I paid for a dolly, but no dolly in the truck. When I returned the truck, I told the person at the counter that there was no dolly in the truck. He asked if I looked in the back of the truck. I told him that I filled the truck and the bracket for the dolly was empty. He asked what I want, and I told him a refund for the dolly. He said he would refund the cost of the dolly but did not. When I received my email receipt, I was charged for the dolly. I want a refund!KEVIN S.

The person receiving the truck said that they were the only person on site and wasn't able to check the truck return while I was there. There was another person in the back so not sure what "only person on site" means. I did receive my return invoice 2 hours later and there were no issues.Cesar B.

The only reason it's not one star is because while I was there the two employees were helpful. However: -The smartphone based system for taking photos of my license, the truck, etc. did not work and didn't allow for any manual override. Terrible system. -The truck I was supposed to get was missing the right mirror. -The truck I ended up getting had sticky soda residue all over the roof inside. It was disgusting. The young man at the counter was very helpful, polite and pleasant. My only recommendation would be to make sure when you're helping a customer, you are not glancing at your cellphone and talking into your airpods at the same time. I don't think he should be penalized in any way for this, but it is distracting for the customer and pulls the representatives attention away from fully assisting. uHaul's online service needs an overhaul though. I was helped by a Lilianna who would NOT answer my questions and kept running in circles without answering me directly. She then ended the chat. All I was asking for was a transcript of the chat as documentation and couldn't get an answer out of her if one would be emailed to me or not. I ended up taking screenshots of it. She was rude, dismissive and uphelpful and it left a very poor impression of the company to me.ALLISON G.
I was overcharged for fuel and was charged an after hours delivery fee of $20. I rented the truck for 8 hours. Pick up was 10:30am. I returned it by 5:45pm. That is 7 hours and 15 minutes. The brake lights did not work, the steering was dangerous. I have pictures of the odometer out and in as well as the gas level out and in. I was charged an extra $39. I will be challenging this on my credit card. If you do not want me to challenge please refund my card the overage or call me at 678 516 4050. Mickey MooresMickey M.
1. Have the vehicle that the customer is contracted to rent, if not I form the customer before they arrive. 2. Do not rent vehicles with the dashboard lit up various warning lights. 3. Do not allow staff/ owners to be rude and dismissive to customers. 4. Do not rent vehicles on E (owner was informed and stated that is how all trucks go out) and then attempt to charge the customer when they have returned the vehicle with more gas than it originally had.MONICA D.

Customer service was not top-notch actually the guy at the front desk was somewhat rude, I was also charged $17 for gas even though I turn in with more gas than what I had one pick up and I was also charged $20 for some type of after night charge which I was never informed of, I don't think a $20 fee for putting keys on a box is appropriateRENE H.

The engine struggles the entire time. I didn't notice at first but the inside of the truck was full of stains and the back was dirty toward the cab I also returned the truck with a quarter of a tank which was his I received it by the auto return they were going to charge me for gas. Was walking to the PakMail store from the truck, I stepped up on the walk, looked up and there was a young man standing a with his hand out. He looked at me, I looked at him, he motioned to the truck. I said Hello, I'm returning the truck, again he gestured with his hand for the key saying NOTHING! I introduced myself and repeated the return truck sentence. He took the key and walked on. I said that' it, no paper work to be done... He just shook his head. HONESTLY, THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS RUDE, DISRESECTFUL AND CERTAINLY NOT BUSINESS LIKE OR RECEPTIVE. He was not friendly, did not speak, just looked at me, never introduced himself or explained that handing the key over was all to do. I forgot a question, went back, calling Sir, Sir, again he did not acknowledge me until I was right up on him. I wanted to tell him that there was no dolly or 5 blankets in the truck when I picked it up in Childersburg AL. He said he can't give me a refund I need to call them. Went back to what he was doing.There was absolutely no customer service whatsoever. This is a first with my uhaul experience and I have used them often.:(Megan H.

They "upgraded me" to a larger truck because the 10 ft one I reserved had a leak in the cargo bay roof. They then incorrectly charged me for the larger truck. It took an hour on the phone with U-Haul corporate to get a $10 refund. The person at the store was nice enough, but I had to remind him twice to provide the furniture pads I rented. Lastly, the truck cab was filthy--the seats and steering wheel were very grimey, the dashboard console and cup holders had a lot of "goo" left from previous drink, food, and who knows what else, and the cab floor was coated with dog hair.Gerald B.
The customer service rep was phenomenal! However, the smaller truck I reserved was not available and I was charged for a larger truck. This truck had some things on the outside and inside that should have been noted on a checkout that I did not receive. It was also so large for me that I had to travel much slower which changed my entire schedule. This caused me to have to keep the truck an additional day which resulted in additional charges.ARETHA L.
The pick up was smooth at 14th St. 8725 Roswell Rd Ste. O is a confusing drop off site. You see Uhauls as you drive into the strip mall area, but have no direction to indicate that the key-drop-box is on the back side of the strip mall (who even thinks to look there?..). It was only by chance we found it, and I even walked into the facility that rents them there. The trucks are also parked in two different locations in the strip mall, so you can't intuitively gather where to park the vehicle. Vehicle was clean and ran well though. No noticeable signs of wear or damage, before or after. Radio works.Michael E.

I do not appreciate that my reservation was switched to a different location than the facility I chose. It was over 6 miles from where I lived and when I got there. They were not even open. I have used Uhaul for many moves but if if this is the new normal for how you all treat old customers, then I will not be using Uhaul moving forward. Gracias.CLINTON C.

Confused as to how trucks aren't checked before renting. I reserved a truck online, only to find it with water in the back. Had to wait to get a truck that was just being returned that IM VERY SURE WASNT SANITIZED (CoVid19!!!!). Was not told about a hold and then a charge so my account is currently over drafted with a $0 balance. Very disappointed with this experience and will be looking into other companys when I move my stuff out of storage!Andrea T.

It's really not fair for me to judge Uhaul when I usually use Penske... Truck itself was a bucket of bolts, it skated, brakes strange, I could not get the drivers seat to move forward.... BUT your rates were good. Extremely hard location to find... Mostly my error, Very little help, "here are keys, good luck" staff while not very friendly were about what you would expect...and that is sad.Kristi L.

When dropping off the truck, someone was in our spot, and the online portal was down and we were unable to self verify our drop off and send photos. The check out app is very clunky (versus a $20 charge to have someone take a 2 minute look at the returned truck the next day). I returned the truck ~40 mins before return time, but it took me ~30 mins to get through the check out app, which I'm still not sure successfully went through. Long story short, 3 different log ins to the app. Timer pictures for miles/gas; cleanliness for inside of cab and back of truck; and parking spot is WAY too tight. I had to back out of the app multiple times because the app kept saying the picture I was trying to upload was too old --- even though clearly taken at location within 5 minutes of trying to upload. Also, I parked in the spot PAKMAIL told me to park when I returned the truck (same where I picked up the truck). However, after I dropped the keys in the lock box, I noticed a sign over the lock box that said "don't park in this area or vehicle will be towed." I trust I won't be charged anything if the truck actually gets towed.George M.
