They "upgraded me" to a larger truck because the 10 ft one I reserved had a leak in the cargo bay roof. They then incorrectly charged me for the larger truck. It took an hour on the phone with U-Haul corporate to get a $10 refund. The person at the store was nice enough, but I had to remind him twice to provide the furniture pads I rented. Lastly, the truck cab was filthy--the seats and steering wheel were very grimey, the dashboard console and cup holders had a lot of "goo" left from previous drink, food, and who knows what else, and the cab floor was coated with dog hair.

The customer service rep was phenomenal! However, the smaller truck I reserved was not available and I was charged for a larger truck. This truck had some things on the outside and inside that should have been noted on a checkout that I did not receive. It was also so large for me that I had to travel much slower which changed my entire schedule. This caused me to have to keep the truck an additional day which resulted in additional charges.

The pick up was smooth at 14th St. 8725 Roswell Rd Ste. O is a confusing drop off site. You see Uhauls as you drive into the strip mall area, but have no direction to indicate that the key-drop-box is on the back side of the strip mall (who even thinks to look there?..). It was only by chance we found it, and I even walked into the facility that rents them there. The trucks are also parked in two different locations in the strip mall, so you can't intuitively gather where to park the vehicle. Vehicle was clean and ran well though. No noticeable signs of wear or damage, before or after. Radio works.

I do not appreciate that my reservation was switched to a different location than the facility I chose. It was over 6 miles from where I lived and when I got there. They were not even open. I have used Uhaul for many moves but if if this is the new normal for how you all treat old customers, then I will not be using Uhaul moving forward. Thank you.

Confused as to how trucks aren't checked before renting. I reserved a truck online, only to find it with water in the back. Had to wait to get a truck that was just being returned that IM VERY SURE WASNT SANITIZED (CoVid19!!!!). Was not told about a hold and then a charge so my account is currently over drafted with a $0 balance. Very disappointed with this experience and will be looking into other companys when I move my stuff out of storage!

It's really not fair for me to judge Uhaul when I usually use Penske... Truck itself was a bucket of bolts, it skated, brakes strange, I could not get the drivers seat to move forward.... BUT your rates were good. Extremely hard location to find... Mostly my error, Very little help, "here are keys, good luck" staff while not very friendly were about what you would expect...and that is sad.

Bill people correctly and be more responsive to escalation matters. You charged me for the wrong reservation and I am STILL awaiting a resolution. The WORST experience when trying to move, smh.

the mobile app that allows for check out of equipment prior to store opening is problematic. the app kept freezing and wouldn't allow for final steps to check out. we were on hold for over 30 mins trying to reach phone support which added anxiety

Our truck was reserved a time different than what was in the system, therefore our truck was given to someone else and we had to wait. When dropping off the truck, someone was in our spot, and the online portal was down and we were unable to self verify our drop off and send photos. I talked to someone in customer service and they logged the call at 8:15

The check out app is very clunky (versus a $20 charge to have someone take a 2 minute look at the returned truck the next day). I returned the truck ~40 mins before return time, but it took me ~30 mins to get through the check out app, which I'm still not sure successfully went through. Long story short, 3 different log ins to the app. Timer pictures for miles/gas; cleanliness for inside of cab and back of truck; and parking spot is WAY too tight. I had to back out of the app multiple times because the app kept saying the picture I was trying to upload was too old --- even though clearly taken at location within 5 minutes of trying to upload. Also, I parked in the spot PAKMAIL told me to park when I returned the truck (same where I picked up the truck). However, after I dropped the keys in the lock box, I noticed a sign over the lock box that said "don't park in this area or vehicle will be towed." I trust I won't be charged anything if the truck actually gets towed.

My truth was defective. It had a drivers door with furniture screws in it to hold the closing mechanism. The door wouldn't close properly after it was loaded. The drivers side of the truck had a Dr by and metal edges exposed. When I complained the young man did nothing.

I called at 538 when I know I would be late and no one answered and I was charged for 2 day. Thing is I reserved a 17' truck from 1360 Holcomb Bridge rd and they didnt not have on they stated that it was rare. I had to make 2 trips that was odd but even more when I seen my rental billed floor! No one called to advise or anything, Never again

Store personnel didn't check the truck nor enter the dropoff or give me any receipt for receiving the truck, he simply took the keys and said that was all. So I called the go uhaul number to ensure that the truck was noted as having been dropped off. Not a good experience.

The Uhaul had a lock on it, we had to get permission from corporate to cut the lock off of the back of the Uhaul and spend our own money to get an appropriate tool or else we would have wasted several hours waiting for the location to open. Another major issue is that we moved in the rain, after we loaded and truck and got to our new home, we realized the truck was leaking and our belongings on the inside of the truck got damaged. When we returned the Uhaul we shared that the truck was leaking water, the gentleman we spoke to did not seem to care about the damage. He said he would fix the truck and that is all. The only helpful person during this whole experience was a lady I spoke to in customer service, she truly saved the day by telling us we could cut the lock. She was very friendly and easy to speak to.

The amount of fuel listed on my contract was incorrect. After checking out the truck, the clerk called me and said that the truck was NOT at half tank, but instead it was at a quarter tank. I confirmed that this was correct. When I returned the truck, I filed the tank to just over a quarter, but was still billed as if I started with a half tank. I would like to be refunded for this mistake by the uhaul clerk at pakmail, and would like to be contacted on my phone to further discuss my issues: 4044477404

The photos of the vehicle were not taken at the location, but presumably at some other location. Not sure why that was the case. The vehicle was a ‘one-way' rental, so perhaps that matters. The service representative was very courteous and knowledgeable.

I had a reservation at close to my house within 2miles but right before they call me and tell me i need to pick up truck at different place witch over 35miles from my moving house i feel like you guys trying to charge more mileage so i paid extra 35 miles fee. Scheduled the truck to be able to do self check-in. Got there, keys weren't available so I had to go inside, had to give card details despite having already entered that information online. Overall took 45 minutes to get the truck in my possession. Improve the check in process to make it easier for people to check in the way they requested.

Site was closed upon returning the vehicle. Lots of displays and notes on the door that the U Haul instructions was posted on. Wasted time trying to do the right thing to learn the drop box was around back of the store front.
