Don't use U-Haul. I put a deposit on the trailer a week before. Then got a call they don't have one. They gave me a bigger trailer for the same cost, but with the cost of gas, I paid a lot more for the trailer. So putting a deposit on something with U-Haul doesn't mean anything.Brian N.

There was no WiFi connection available in the parking lot and we were trying to get the rental by mobile and it could not find my location. Luckily a man was in the mini storage office that helped us out, plus extended our time because it took so long to get everything done. If you offer mobile pick up then you need to make sure that there is WiFi availability.Neil O.

Attendant checked me in on his personal cell phone, not on the desk computer. Glitches in the system - offered an alternate location for a lesser amount - I accepted - but it never went through. Paperwork took quite a while to receive digitally over email , but did finally come through.Peter R.

Ensure service engine lights aren't on, the motor ran poorly, took forever to get up to speed. By time you hit the speed limit you'd have to stop at another light. 1/4 tank of gas for 48 miles 40 of which was country roads with no stops.ANDREW JASON W.

The app you use to pick up your Uhaul and drop off needs alot of work. Took 30 minutes to get app to work to pick up Uhaul. Then when to drop off. I was on phone for 40 minutes as camera on app would not upload pictures showing mileage and that. Very frustrating. When finally getting ahold of a person, they directed me to another app online that did work. This needs to be noted when using app so others don't have to go through this.Karrie R.

Needs better management, was there for 2 hours waiting for the guy to figure out how to use his phone even though I made a reservation the night before. Ended up have to redo it like 5 times, and was about to leave then finally got it after I had to help him. Agent took over an hour to check me in even after I made an online reservation. He was not computer savvy by any means. He even went so far as to cancel my reservation so he could start over. I reserved a one way trailer and he created a local reservation. He gave me a discount due to his delay but then over charged for the blankets. He said he couldn't find a destination facility so he said to call U Haul upon arrival to return the unit. Upon arrival the agent noticed all the problems and rectified the situation in due course. However, it seems I was double charged by U Haul as my debit card shows two charges which total more than the agreed upon price. I will have to call U Haul to correct this situation.JOSEPH V.

The driveway is beyond deplorable. The hole beyond the gate must be at least a foot deep. The driveway has had no maintenance in the 270 plus days during which I rented a unit. Standing water when it rains. Huge holes all of the time. I marked all questions with NO because there needs to be another option such as Don't Know.
