The man was not a cordial person

David AWould have been 5 star except the "pull up" door I had on my 10x5 unit was difficult to pull up. (But I'm not real strong) Main office, staff, lighting & security were great, and the location was perfect for my needs!

Nanette JI arrived, no one was here. Had to call two different uhaul corporate numbers who finally called the person who should have been there during open hours.
Clint HFix your app or the process. We never had an idea of the process before we got there. Never was told we had to take a face if picture then a photo idea. Along with two people who had to be called early in the morning to verify. That should have all been done before we got there. Took us an hour. Pick up was 8:00 am after all the trouble with the app and calling customer service. 9:00 is when finally left. Then on return all the steps to return. It would be nice to have something sent to let people know the process. There should be a pre check in. The truck was fine and worked great. The customers service rep was fantastic. Never use the app!!!!! I honestly believe we should get some money back.

David CI reserved a appliance dolly they did not have one that was bad I had to scramble around town to locate one. It took time away from moving a real pain. Not to mention the pressure it took to Return the truck on time.

Cody GWould never use uhaul again, the price it gave me when I set my reservation was not the same as what they made me pay at pick up, it was actually an extra 100 compared to the 50 it originally told me it would be. And after a week or so now I just got charged an extra 90 dollars? For what? The email doesn't say for what, this is ridiculous. Would not recommend uhaul unless you have a lot of patience, time, and money to blow, because it will end up costing you a couple extra hundred than what they told you at the beginning. Absolutely ridiculous

Akinfolarin AThe drop off location was just an empty parking lot. No one was on duty. I called the Owosso location for instructions on dropping off the truck after I arrived at the drop off point. The people to whom I spoke were very nice but not very helpful. They did not seem to understand what I was asking and it took several attempts to get them to answer my actual question.

Amber FThe staff was rarely in the office when ever I went there. After moving out I had been billed even when the staff had unlocked and observed that I cleared out completely. The treatment of customers was sub par at best. Would not recommend using this facility ever.

Kathryn SThe location was just fine, but the truck was the worst Peice of crap I ever rented. Dirty. Beat up. I had to sweep all the mud out of the backend. The steering was way to loose. It was all over the road. The mirrors shook. The engine sounded like it was about to blowup. The ramp was way to hard to pull out, and put back. The trailer compartment door was way to hard to open, and close. I am x military. I have rented many uhaul vehicles, but this one is way past service, or just junk it.

Sara WI would never recommend anybody to use your turbo trailers. They all sit on the ground the front tongues do unless you have two people. It is extremely dangerous for a persons back to be lifting 100 or 200 pounds worth of trailer weight in order to get the tongue on the ball of the vehicle

kenneth m | ReservationTruck interior could be cleaner. It would be nice not to have a 2 wheel dolly and bag of furniture paddings in my way also. I swept my storage unit out better than the way it was presented to me, although very convenient location. I would rent from again no major problems.
James FI couldn't get the padlock off the back of the truck no matter how hard I tried, so I had to back the truck right up to my home overnight. I signed a waiver prior on the website that the truck was clean by only being shown inside the cab by the representative, but in the back was a few nails and screws and a candy wrapper. Luckily they didn't fall out into my driveway possibly flattening a tire. It was an okay experience.
Ed HPerson made me buy a new receiver that was rated for less weight than the hitch I had already brought with me. My parents were broke down on the side of the expressway so I bought the receiver so I wouldn't waste anymore time to get to them. Very disappointed that your service representative would use someone in that manner.

Carl D | ReservationMade a reservation for 3pm, showed up at 2:58, had to call the 1-800 number because the location didn't have anybody there, waited until around 3:15-3:20 and a gentleman finally walked up and asked if I was there for my reservation, this is why I don't use you guys because the service sucks even when a reservation wasn't honored for the exact time.

Shea MI love being able to pick up and drop off after business hours. The check in, pick up, and return processes were easy to navigate. The only thing (and it's not a big deal) that I found annoying is when I was going through the process of returning the truck...I wish the fuel gage thing was different. I kept trying to move the page up and apparently I kept trying to scroll right where the fuel gage was...and it kept moving. Other than that, the people at owosso uhaul have always been good people and uhaul is the only company I'll ever use to move. Thank you UHAUL!
Jaime MEverything there was fine. But in leaving I was charged $35 when I wasn't there. I should be getting a refund shortly but very inconvenient.

Monika HThis storage unit is horrible. It is one of the most unsecured properties that I have ever rented at. The grounds are not kept very well and the units themselves are awful. There are no security cameras and they have had robberies in the past. The doors to the units are horrible as well. Our door would not even lower after we moved out. There was also another unit across from us where the door is off the track and it doesn't look they have bothered to fix it. The price is good for the units but that is the only thing good about the storage unit. I would rather pay a little more for a better secured unit. We rented another one in another city that has security cameras all around and they require even insurance on your unit. They are very well kept and in fact don't have a lot of units left to rent. The price is higher but I am paying for a much more secure unit. They even look all of their unoccupied units so that people don't try to get in them or store stuff in them that they are not supposed to.

Not only did I need to take a picture of my license but also a selfie and I needed more verification of my identity. I am glad however that I was able to rent a truck after hours. Am home now and "mission accomplished" thank you.

Jason LDon't use U-Haul. I put a deposit on the trailer a week before. Then got a call they don't have one. They gave me a bigger trailer for the same cost, but with the cost of gas, I paid a lot more for the trailer. So putting a deposit on something with U-Haul doesn't mean anything.
Brian NThere was no WiFi connection available in the parking lot and we were trying to get the rental by mobile and it could not find my location. Luckily a man was in the mini storage office that helped us out, plus extended our time because it took so long to get everything done. If you offer mobile pick up then you need to make sure that there is WiFi availability.

The driveway has had no maintenance in the 270 plus days during which I rented a unit. Standing water when it rains. Huge holes all of the time. I marked all questions with NO because there needs to be another option such as Don't Know. I never tried to access the office and I was never there at night.
