Multiple mistakes were made on my order upon pick up, including drop off location, the number of days allotted, the cost - none of which were discussed with us and we didn't notice until i saw the contract printed afterwards. Now I've had to waste my time calling to file an action file to get my money back and correct all these mistakes that happened upon truck pick up, when i had expressedly called in advance to confirm all my details BEFORE the pick up date. I booked the uhaul with 2 furniture trolley, 1 appliances trolley and half dozen furniture pads 3 weeks in advance. I asked the guy when I picked up the truck and ensure everything is inside and I was given an employee truck. His excuse was he wasn't working the last 3 days and don't know what is going on. He looked through all the trucks and found 1 appliances trolley and 1 utility trolley which is better than nth. I picked up the truck later than expected due to his search but without the furniture trolley and pads to protect it made my move extremely hard and damaged my furniture. He claimed that it depends on availability but I didn't book it 3 weeks ahead and if that location doesn't have any available I should have told then I will go to a different location that have everything I needâ€¦.overall was a bad experience and I would not recommend to anyone. I booked a pick up in the evening with mobile pick up. On the day of the pick up, the agent calls me and tells me that mobile pick up is not an option and I have to come before 4 PM to pick up the van. This information was very last minute and I had to leave my work in between to pick up the van. Why give the option of remote pick up and then ruin the customer's plan?? Had I know. That before hand, I would have planned my moving differently. Then, there was no one present at the counter both at the pick and at drop off. I had to wait 20-30 minutes both the times just for the u-haul agent to come back to the counter. Very unprofessional.Gagneet K.

Uhaul app failed to upload pictures for checkin. Live chat was useless. Could not check in to app despite booking being before location was open despite staff being present and it was a 24/7 booking. Shouted at to provide an alternate contact number to get keys which was not specified as necessary when making a booking. Stressful experience and it didn't need to be.William S.

The parking lot where the trucks were parked had pieces of wood with nails all over the place. If we didn't move one, we would have had a flat tire. It was not clear where to pick up the key then when we finally got the key, we were given the wrong keyâ€¦. Just an unorganized mess.Brent C.

Close this location. The manager was rude and said she is busy and hung up the phone. She said she had other customers. I did not use the service but was still charged. My call was to be reimbursed. I will dispute charges with Visa.JEHAN G.

The Key drop box could be more secure. I dropped the key in an had to use a 12 inch tool to push it down so it was not visible.NEVILLE R.

Book online for quick check in, still had to wait almost 40 minutes before I could get processed. Paid for blankets but not all were there, was told to drive around and come in after checking myself to get more blankets. The online pickup system did not work but the staff member onsite was quickly able to get our reservation up and approved. The online system also did not work to return the truck but the onsite staff member handled the return. She was very efficient and knowledgeable.Bradley D.
Please place a sign where to locate the lockbox, office. We searched the whole area it was a big lot, with 2 buildings. A sign that could have said, office located at the front of building, facing Mavis rd would have helped.Evelyn D.

The app is not user friendly, navigating to the self serve verification process was a hassle and very inconvenient. App didn't allow me to take pictures ( even after enabling access to camera), the app has ads and a home page where you need to scroll down to finally find the self serveâ€¦ the agent did NOT provide me with code to unlock back of truck to get key. Customer arrive at location is poor, staff was away during business hours , key drop off area not clear, and customer service rep at location was also confused about why U-Haul did not provide code to unlock truck. The person at the reception was very very rude, impolite and NOT customer friendly. I had to look around at the trucks to get the dollies that were booked in advance and bring them my truck which was waste of time. Will never recommend this location to anyone...Balaji A.
Improve upon the time taken to serve the customer at the counter. The counter was unattended for 40 minutes. Even after self online check in, I received the truck key 50 minutes after my reservation time. The dolly I reserved a week in advance was not available and was offered a heavy alternative. The place where the trucks are parked is filthy and far away from the counter.Omkar P.
I booked the truck at 10 and they took more than 30min to give it to me and it was dirty, and it had oil and vinegar on the floor, I tried to contact the location but they didn't pick up so I contacted the head office and they said nothing helpful so I had to finish my move , some of my furniture was damaged , walking in the truck was extremely hard and the house floor and carpet was damagedHamdi H.

The front seating area of the rental should have been cleaned/wiped down. It's not enough to only clean the back inside areas of the vehicle. The seats had food remains and hair stuck on them which we had to clean before sitting on them. The cup holders and steering wheel was also filthy and sticky. Good thing we had carried anti-bacterial wipes with us! We have rented previously from this location and not had dirty vehicles before.Danielle B.
Vehicle was very dirty from the inside Rental pickup require weird stuff such as passport and 2 alternative contacts (it says one only when u book, but when u go to pick up they ask for another one) Or job reference and number (I'm a healthcare professional and a manager and we close on the weekend when I got my rental) So it was impossible to finish my vehicle pickup online as you get a human to chat with u but she was just like a bot, giving a generic answers (Cynthia) Thanks to the girls at the office who helped me with the pick up I will not use u-haul again, and i will discourage friends if they need to rent a truck or equipment Not professional at allHani A.

Our pick up was for 2 pm ,but when we got there at 1.30pm ,we couldn't find the office( its in the flea market building in the front) and there was no one at the office for at least 20 minutes and then the guy wasn't able to enter a return before he could give us the keys to the van. Overall experience was very positive, I loved the Mobile checkin/checkout feature however once checked in I had to wait 15 minutes to get the keys as there was only one staff member at the site and several people waiting for vehicles.. Driver's side brake light did not work. When you hit the brakes the reverse lights came on ... obviously some wiring issues. Van was fairly new too with only 22805 kms so very weird that no one checked that safety issue before allowing me to take it. Drop off error on their end resulted in overbilling - which was corrected once I spoke to the wonderful person at head office! She was great!Steven B.
When pickup vehicle says compartment number 7, so what the f? Is compartment #7? I went to the counter and there is no one available, found a staff at the backyard and she helped me to get the keys, took me 45 min to get my keys. For the return, again it says put back ur key to compartment #7, now where the f? Is that compartment? Its actually a f?cking letter padlock, locked inside the counter and it was f?cking closed when returning vehicle, staff also did not explain anything about it, gave me keys but not the padlock, who ever used the â€œcompartmentâ€ word should be fired as its a letter padlock and it got me so f?cking haging in the cold walking around to get clues!!! I was lucky to be able to reach the padlock at the counter even closed because they use folding security gate. Is it very unfair for extra charges mentioned in terms of service for uhaul share because instructions are not adequately provided for the whole process, i went all over the building looking and asking around!!! This experience is horrible and very frustrating, extremely silly communication from the web instructions provided, also i was unable to loging when picking vehicle with error â€œsession expiredâ€ , customer service call back took 30min for pickup support, and 1hr for return support, and guess what? I never had a chance to speak to call backs because by then i was already gone! Another problem is that fuel is not full when pickup and overfill was inevitable, it is very hard to fill to the same amount when not full, fuel gauge also different when parked on uneven surfaces. I hope uhaul will address these issues and im not blaming staff because the corporate is responsible in providing proper information to customer.XING W.

The customer service was great when checking in but the truck was not in good condition. It was clean but the truck was very old and the wear and tear was evident. Nobody reviewed the condition of the truck with me and when I started driving it I realized the lighting system was not functioning properly and the gas gage did not read correctly. The truck made the trip from Mississauga to Florida but without my wife following me it would have been a danger to drive as the turn signals were malfunctioning.Mike M.

Location was fine but I had reserved the truck online in Milton. Every time I reserve something the vehicle is never at that location and I have to go out of my way to pick it up and I got billed extra miles.Kristian R.
