The staff can improve on their professionalism and appearance
CLARENCE JI think the price was a scam. It is advertised as $19.99. I was forced to buy insurance through the vendor as they said their particular insurance was mandatory. I was forced to pay for 50 miles despite me only driving 6 miles. I expected there to be some hidden fees but I didn't expect it to cost 5x the advertised rate.
JOHN CNA-customer service reps were polite and helpful. I would recommend and use again.
Scott AThey told me it had 7/8 tank of gas and to return it as such, when it had less than 3/4. They didn't ask me if I wanted blankets or Dolly's or insurance. Just automatically tried to charge me for it.(I had insurance through State Farm) I did order 12 blankets but they did not put them in the truck. We had to move antiques quickly and they were damaged more because we had no padding.
BRUCE LIngrid, the representative who assisted me with the rental, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and had a friendly and professional personality. The van arrested check engine light was on. Pulled out to return, but no obvious problems were apparent. Windshield was filthy to the point I had to stop and clean it to continue driving.
JOHN HMy reservation was modified TWO minutes before the reservation time to be relocated to this location which was 30 minutes away in the wrong direction. Thai location had no idea that it had been reassigned and the truck wasn't ready. After having to drive there and back and losing an hour of paid labor time for movers that were ready but didn't have the truck, I was furious. When I finally get the truck, it has no gas in it; only adding to the delay in time. It wasn't this location's fault. The Piedmont Road location was doing this to multiple people despite their being numerous trucks out and available, to which the staff stayed "they're reserved for other people for later." So my reservation is invalid or less than? Beyond that, I was quoted at around $75 if I drove less than 50 miles. I drove less than 50 miles and was charged $96 and don't know why and no one will answer the phone to tell me why. Next time I'll use Penske

ASHLEY GThe van was clean, but had low tire pressure. Warning lamp was on clearly indicating that. When I told the staff and asked for adding some air they said they don't have any. They also set rank to 2/3 full when it was actually only half.

MAURICE BWell the customer should have a clean and clear pathway to the trailer they're renting. The customer should not be doing any manual labor your employees should be doing just to get to their trailer. Customers shouldn't have to squeeze their vehicles between a tight area between two of your uhaul trucks, through mudd and dirt and leaves to get to a trailer. Customers shouldn't be lied to abt hitch equipment being included in the price of the trailer rental, only to find out the hitch isn't convered. But not only that, it's cost is 2 times that for the same hitch home depot sells.

BRITTANY DThe MDJ Grayson location is a diamond in the rough. It's not shiny like the main U-haul locations, but the staff and vehicles are always top-notch. If they don't have trucks available, then I'd be very reluctant to go to another location.
REGINALD OThe people were nice, the van was clean in the cargo and cab. HOWEVER, the tire pressure was all over the place. I was casually warned that the lights on the dash were the tire sensors. I get that and am used to it from my own vehicle, but it's a little scary when all 4 tires are under and the rear right in particular was nearly 40lbs low! Major safety issue. And since they know that, why not just bring the tires to proper pressure?! IF it's a problem with the TPMS system, then fix it! Also, the person who needed to check the van back in upon return was not available so I didn't get an immediate receipt. Stupid of me to let that go because I later got an e-receipt that showed I was charged $15 for Safe Move, which I had declined when I booked the rental. An email complaint about this went unanswered. Would never use or recommend this location again.

MARY LChecking in and out was easy. They even offered on-site parking, which I did not know; otherwise, I would not have asked someone to drop me off and pick me up.
LATIF KIt was a little hard to find the actual office after pulling in (as it isn't a Uhaul store), The office could use a little clean up. The UHaul had stuff from the last customer that was found as we were leaving with the trailer, so it hadn't been cleaned out. It was taken care of after it was discovered. the guy who helped us hook it up, etc was very nice and helpful.

Henry BNothing! This location has the most courteous staff and team. They got me in the truck fast and processed return like true professionals. Will be back again!
PAMELA MCheck in and check out we're fast and easy, there weren't any surprise hidden charges, both the manager and the other employee were incredibly friendly, answered any questions I had. It was as pleasant an experience as I could've hoped for.

HERMAN BMy quote for the rental was $35. For 4 hours which included the miles I expected to drive. But by the time I was closed out the charge was over $75.00. I wouldn't rent from U-Haul anymore

JONTHN RI arrived and the attendant informed me that they didn't have any dolly available (was not notified prior). This made my move extremely difficult. She was not helpful and did not offer any accommodations. The office also reaked of bleach. When I returned the vehicle I never got a confirmation email of its return and the same attendant rudely brushed me off saying it is automatically sent to my email. I never received an email.

MIGUEL AMy problem was with cooperate when I had concern about my bill. I do take medications for anxiety & ptsd, so her making fun of me was so not a great experience. I've never had a representative disrespect & disconnect my call.
JAQUAN BFirst scheduled pickup location was awful. The truck was broken down when we got there and we had to scramble and find another one for the next day that was available in town. First drop off location was awful. There were no places to legally park and drop off the rental (it was a 24 hour return location so it was closed). Was able to call and find a second drop off location that was open the next day and still within our 24 hour period. YOU NEED TO REMOVE SOME OF YOUR PICKUP AND DROPOFF LOCATIONS. THEY ARE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES.
