Very easy to use the app to pick-up and drop-off the vehicle. My only complaint would be that I would have preferred more than an 1/8 of a tank of gas in the vehicle when picking up. I know you have to refill the tank to the same level as before, but it would have been nicer to not have to do this immediately.

The self serve process only works if the system is working. Which is fine, but when the system is down you are essentially stranded with a uhaul and no way to return it. I probably will not be using uhaul again, which is a shame because I’ve used your service my whole life.

The truck's gas was on EMPTY. I don't understand how this is allowed. Since there are no attendants onsite then I guess it can't be enforced to require a certain amount? Empty gas is unacceptable to me. The location is convenient to me but very small. The processs to pickup and return are too timeconsuming

What you can approve for later in the fur future is get some more dollies for appliance movements and get the dollies to the Royal Furniture on with people that don't have to move far or in the same situation if they did have to move forward then have them on hand

The truck's cabin was very dirty. When returning the truck there was nowhere to drop the keys as the orange box had been ripped from the wall. I ended up leaving the key inside the truck like when I found it.

No one was present in the uhaul office even though it was during posted business hours but it was still locked. This would have been helpful since I was initially having issues using mobile pickup. I called customer service but the call dropped before they could help me. Ended up switching browsers on my phone and was able to complete pickup but lost 30 mins. Also the radio stopped working during the trip and the parking spot for the van was very tight and narrow fit. Did not come away the least bit impressed with this location.

The truck I received had low tire pressure and was missing a wiper blade. There was no where on site to fill the tire and one of the employees said that the sensor could be malfunctioning (although I could clearly see that the tire was low NOT FLAT just low). I just took the truck anyway since I was only moving an extra large box around a corner. Had I been moving furniture across the city or one way , I'd be a little more upset. My experience wasn't bad, it wasn't stellar but it was pretty decent for a uhaul trip I guess. I found it easy to park at Walgreens and walk down some I was alone. Other than that all went reasonably smooth.

The fuel was below 3/4 of a tank. It was more like 5/8 of a tank. It was parked on an incline so the reading was off. I should have taken a picture and posted it. I did refuel just above 3/4 of tank on the return.

Everything went great with obtaining the truck and using it all day. However when I returned the vehicle the online "return truck" page was down. I sat in an unlit gravel parking lot for an hour trying to get the page to load. Called the helpline and heard from no one in over 40 minutes. Finally let my brother to convince me to go home. The page didn't load until the next morning. The keys and truck were on "Mallard Mowers" designated spaces, whoever since I was in my home I got like a few surcharges for the truck being away. $5 bits isn't really concerning to me but that Uhaul would take advantage when the truck clearly was there sucked. I don't plan to use Uhaul because of the website experience.

The rep was nonchalant. She did not show me where the vehicle was. The vehicle was on the side of another building next to the company and non visible. I had to pull the truck out of a very tight entry instead of it being ready up front. The truck steering was off.

Because of the difficulties I had with getting in contact with a representative after experience some problems in processing my schedule on time.

Absolute worst process I've seen. Reserved a 10ft truck close to work/home (5mins away). Thinking I reserved and paid online I could pick up/drop off the truck at home up on my lunch break (30 mins). Arrived at location to find a note on the door that location was closed to go online for pick-up information. Attempted 7 times to go thru pick up process online and it rejected my license each time. After the 7th time I called customer service and spoke with a rep who was short like I was wasting her time. I could hear her small child in the background and I was muted several times throughout the call. She told me I had to change settings in my cellphone. After 20 plus mins on the phone with her she told me to download the U-Haul app. I did that and was able to upload my headshot and drivers license info. I was able to use the lockbox to get they key after spending 55 mins for what should have taken 5-10 mins. The truck needed service, it hesitated when accelerating, the brakes were not responsive, the tire pressure sensor came on and stayed on during the entire rental. When I tried to return the vehicle using the U-Haul app I could not upload the odometer or fuel gauge as app would not accept the photos. The tire pressure sensor warning appeared immediately after turning on the ignition therefore the mileage would disappear making it impossible to get both odometer and fuel gauge in same shot. Once again I called U-Haul customer service to ask what I should do. After being on hold for over 30 mins waiting to speak to an agent I decided to just leave and deal with it in the morning or on Monday if needed. I locked the vehicle and tried to find the return key box which was not the same box as the key was locked up in (it had another key to a different vehicle inside). After looking for 5 mins I walked the entire building to find key drop on opposite side of building and dropped the key inside. One I returned home I went back online and started a chat with a rep who was very helpful and said that if I sent her the odometer and fuel gauge photos she would check the vehicle in for me. Photos sent and she replied that she received them and return was completed. U-Haul needs to figure a way out that the customer is not wasting their time. This will be my last time using their services!

Firstly, I used the app checkout for the first time, thinking it would be faster and safer than seeing a real person. However, it turned out to be the most aggravating hassle I've ever experienced. It required numerous pictures and FOUR different phone numbers for reference and nearly an hour to get 'appproved.' Seriously? When checking out in person, you just need 1 phone number. It's faster and easier to just go into the location and check out with a person. I will NEVER use the app again. Then, when we finally got the truck, we discovered it had damage around the driver door that wasn't apparent BEFORE getting the keys. So we weren't able to notate it in the app. Specifically, we couldn't open the door with the key, so we had to go into the location for help anyway. The rep was also unable to open the door and had to get another key. Because of the damage, the door didn't close completely. It rained during the move and water poured in, completely soaking us. And lastly, when we got the truck, it only had a QUARTER tank of gas! Never before have I checked out a rental vehicle with less than a full tank. We had to stop immediately and get gas, which was another hassle. Overall, this was a terrible experience. This was the 2nd time renting from this location, but we never will rent with uhaul again.
