When I picked up the truck it was dirty and had a crack in the windshield. When I told the person at the rental desk his response was :no worries, you have insurance." I said "it should be charged to whoever was responsible. When we dropped the truck off there was no one at the facility to receive it. They had us leave it outside. I received a call on Monday morning from the El Mirage facility regarding the cracked windshield. I told him it was there when we rented the truck and he said "did you take a picture?" My response "yes, and I told the person in Lacey as well." Based on this experience I would not recommend or use Uhaul again.NORA LYNN V.
I was shocked by how unfriendly and rude the employees as, as if I was troubling her by renting a trailer (and not knowing exactly how to hook it up). Ruined my day.MEEGAN C.

The truck was not clean inside or out. In fact, the outside was filthy and I had to wipe down the interior. I have rented U-Haul trucks before for long moves. This truck was the noisiest truck I've ever ridden in. So noisy I may have permanent hearing damage. (no joke) We actually nicknamed the truck "RoughRider". The AC only worked on flat ground or going downhill. I will say it seemed to run mechanically fine. It got us from Lacey WA to San Diego CA with no breakdowns.Terry J.

I have no problem with this location but I do have a big problem with UHAU. Your email sent me to the wrong store so the employee there sent me to another franchise. This caused me to be late to meet my assistant. They told me that my account would be credited $50 but it was wasn't. ðŸ˜¡Peter L.

The drop-off location was easy access and someone came right out to accept the truck. I was told (at pick-up) that I could return the truck to where was the easiest for me. I chose a location closest to my home. Then, I received at call stating that this truck had to be returned to the 2516 4th Ave E UHAUL location in Olympia. I don't know the reason for the change?? I returned it to The Lacey Express on Lacey Blvd. Thanks again!ROBERT M.

I rented the 26 feet long Uhaul. It was almost empty tank when I picked up. I was nervous to drive to gas station since it was my first time driving big truck. I would appreciate that your staff filled up at lease 1/2 tank for customer prior checking it out. I had to use my gas tank at home so I have enough gas to go to Gas Station.MINHTRUNG V.

We had a 26 foot reserved and we're notified very close to the time we were supposed to pick it up that it would be a 20 foot truck at a discount and I was given the option of getting a 10 foot truck as well. We got the 10 foot truck and the 20 foot truck but we had to pay full price for the 10 foot truck. We were told we could drop them off Saturday at 9 and 3 respectively. Then the drop off location called us Friday at 2 saying our 20 foot truck had a reservation on it. We couldn't drop it off until 5:30.KAERLEK J.

I expressed to the lady working that the gas gauge on the truck fluctuates, that its not working proper. She took zero interest in learning of my experience, and was more concerned about claiming every dollar for every mile. Even though I over paid the gas upon return to be certain it would meet the equal requirement, even though when you drive the truck, again the gas gauge fluctuates. This is the third UHaul truck I rented in the past month plus, 2nd truck had faulty AC, which was brutal for the interstate drive. It sure would be nice to have a Uhaul employee that cares, that will look into the problems with the vehicles so the problems wont keep happening to othersKEITH C.

The app didn't work well Female clerk was friendly Male clerk had a huge line, didn't send me a confirmation email about equipment being returnedodra T.
It was not explained to us that the insurance was a per day fee. So instead of $14 is was $70. We also had problems returning the truck on time because we were told if we needed to keep it the extra day would just be added on, however when we called to inform them we'd be keeping it another day, they told us we HAD to bring it back right away. This cost us an extra 2 days of rent on a rental we were moving out of in addition to other expenses for having to rent another uhaul a different day and extra travel expenses between homes.KELSEY R L S.

I liked the drop off (it's literally a field across the street, made parking very easy) but there was no direction for where to put the key (it said put it in drop box but not that the drop box was across the street), and most importantly the sign said go to my uhaul.com, which doesn't exist. When the website wasn't working I crossed the street to see if there were instructions on the building, where I found the key box and another sign that said uhaul.com. I wasn't thinking (baby brain!) and put the keys in the drop box, only to remember I needed them to take pictures of the inside of the truck!!!SEAN LEIGH M.

How about stop limiting people to small hr windows and charging for full days. If I need a truck for 24 hrs I should be able to rent it for that if there is availability not for 2-6 hrs because the local direct has decided to limit rentals, and on bigger trucks not allow for multiple day rentals. At the cost of the truck per day I'm not renting a truck to sit it in front of my home I'm renting it to move a 2900 sq ft home and as a paying customer should be able to rent it as your policy states 29.95 per day rather than only 29.95 for 2-6 hrsJASON S.

The drop-off location assigned to me is totally unreasonable. It is more than 30 miles away from my destination (in Tacoma), while a location within 6 miles (in Seattle) is available. As a result, I had to pay $9 for dropping it off at the "wrong location".ANDI W.

I unfortunately used the online pickup. Never again. I give it a zero. I had good mobile service but the uhaul server stopped responding 10 times. It took help from one of your people on the phone 20 minutes to get it done after I had tried for 15 minutes. I'll call another rental first next time which is next weekend.Patrick R.

This was my first time using a Uhaul and it will be my last. $260 to borrow a truck for 2 days that I had to put the gas in just to be able to drive it to my 1st location to load it. To be charged per day and per mile and have to put gas in it makes no sense, the gas should be included. There are too many charges and it seems like a total ripoff scam.TRACY H.

I was the primary person using this storage. Day one. Closed at 3:11. I had to put the truck loaded in a semi-secure place. That also caused me to hire a crew the next day to unload. I was told by Uhaul that I qualified for 1 month free. We were told the next day upon arrival again, they do not honor that. I was in a pinch and had no other choice. I only used the storage until we found an apartment. I am dissatisfied that the cost to hire a new crew, gas back to Lacey and another day of exhaustion and inconvenience wasn't considered when I discussed this with Larry. He was kind, but said Ryan said we would only get the deposit back. That location is not a place I will refer to. I believe the funds should be credited back. From day one I was misinformed and closed. I should not have to chase any manager down. They know I'm not satisfied. If I were the Manager, I would call the customer right away.
