RHONDA MThis establishment needs to be shut down immediately. The staff is incredibly incompetent! They kept charging me for a rental even after it was returned. At which the excuse was "I don't know how". There was no resolution until speaking to the higher ups about it. The rental was given practically empty on gas when the mileage needed for the rental was given from the start. Do not ever use this location!
VIJAI SThis location resides within a Dominican restaurant whose employees speak little to no English. This makes asking for support difficult for those who do not speak Spanish. During my reservations I interacted with two males at the U-Haul counter. I informed both, the one at the beginning and the one at the end, that this reservation was under a company card for a nonprofit and showed the the tax exempt form to exclude the tax. The first man informed me the tax exemption happened during close out. When I returned the U-Haul the other gentleman took the keys and walked out with no directives. about 5 minutes later the restaurant worker behind the counter received a call then looked at me saying I can go. I told her he needed to comeback at which time i received the email with my receipt including tax. He returned 5 additional minutes later. I show him the tax exempt form to which he stated should have been entered in the beginning. Furthermore, there was nothing her could do then he shrugged and walked off.
NEFERTITI ASince it is the customer that drives the van by him/herself, the vans always need proper mechanical check. The van I was provided was so old and the gears were quite weak but I managed to drive. Aside that, it was very economical and fuel efficient. I rate my entire experience 3 stars. Gracias
FRANCIS AThe clerk should be more serious with his job. I had to walk almost 3 blocks to pick up the van. It was unclear which side of the road the van would be, which took more time than expected. First, the clerk said he would bring over the van, then changed his statement to "You need to walk to XYZ Street" and pick it up. I also rented a hand truck, which they did not put in the van. After calling, they brought it to my location!

Vili EGreat service. Tried to drop off at 1610 Bushwick Avenue but they tried to charge $400-800 to just drop off. Damn rip-off. I decided not to deal with that location n took the ride back to the Bronx
IVET HThis is the last time I use this service, very unprofessional and rude, after I left with the truck they told me to pick up the tool that I rented with the truck because they forgot, had to drive 1.9 miles extra, even was their fault I had to pay them cash, long wait to receive it and to returned.

BEATO GMy truck was given to someone else 'in error'. Not sure if it was the location's fault or an error on the part of the dispatch but the end result was that i got my truck 2 hours later. Need better fleet management and dispatch controls.

Moussa CThis place is a disgrace showed up early and still didn't leave with my rental till about 2:16 then they tell me I got to return the truck by 5 because that's closing time and I only had 1/4 of gas I leave to find out the dolly was not in the truck very unprofessional truck had a bang on the door couldn't open passenger window! Twisted my ankle rushing to do my move in less than 3 hours I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy oh and btw when I return at 5:10 the place was still open the nerve of the owner to tell me they close at 5 don't waste your time with this place
MADELINE LThe man that provides the uhaul was pretty rude, lacks communication skills. Cuts you off when speaking, when I dropped it off he sat on the other side of a large screen and was in his phone without telling me anything. He made me wait at least a half hour before attending me for no reason at pick up and drop off. while The wait time is horrible … you are on his time. He doesn't know how to explain a price difference between the app and his system. He made me take the truck to a different location while I was still on the rental time to then come back to the rental location. Not a good experience.

YOANFRI DPersonnel helpful... only when we insisted they come get the truck! We were in Brooklyn NY and the place was a restaurant with a small sign in the window. They wanted us to turn the truck around on a congested street find an ally to take the truck back and park it... yea right! Did I mention we were in Brooklyn NY! Unbelievable.

ebony bWhen we arrived at this location the man was sleeping in his chair. When we finally got his attention he was very rude and threw my debit card towards me, instead of handing it back to me. They he proceeds to go retrieve the van and took 20 extra minutes we didn't have. His service was unprofessional and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Odette OI would recommend based on convenience and location. When I got the rental it was on empty and the back cabin smelled like the person before was transporting a dead body. Also, I requested the 24/7 truck share, apparently this location didn't have it available but also didn't state it on their website.

Sonia CThe equipment ordered (furniture dollies and furniture blankets) were not available and we were not notified of that until we were there to pick it up. Also the U-Haul pick up was on a busy street in a bus lane and was very difficult to drop off because of the buses and one way streets.

Immature staff, charged me for a dolly that he didn't have in the truck, charged my account before bringing the truck, had to wait 30 wasted minutes for the kid to get off the phone before honoring my reservation. Not to mention when I attempted to return the uhaul as per my reservation. The uhaul staff told me he's closed. Keep in mind this was at the location. This shouldn't be an affiliate because it makes your company seem unprofessional. Simply a disappointing service that I will not use again.
Collyer GI brought back the vehicle at 7pm but the rep didn't take it back because "He didn't have space". I had to take it back the following day after spending close to two hours trying to find parking for it. I had to pay 10 dollars extra for gas and probably more for mileage. Also had to take time off of work to bring it back the following day. Horrible experience.

They look at you, make their own personal judgement and treat you as if you are somehow alien, not of the norm, disgusting even…that's if your not sounding looking dressing socializing among them …after I commented a systematic thorough assessment on how they actively participate in the discrimination disregard rude behavior and overall dismissive treatment of those persons unaffiliated to the Spanish culture.. who doesn't speak look sound know or be of the community especially if you don't dress like them or look like a working person. Age race and sex all were documented in several ongoing assessments using various tactics to deter the blatant behavior seen so many times. But it's not only known unapologetic derogatory actss of discrimination it's every to those person of LGBTQIA's+, trans ( not Spanish) or ethnic background and urban acting or sounding.
Thornell MI can not provide any commentary on how the service I received can be improved for the next customer. The Managing agent demonstrated professional, courteous, and expeditious service to accommodate a same-day request. The location was ideal and the equipment was clean and well-maintained. I had an excellent experience, and would not hesitate to utilize the services again and recommend this location in the future.
Angelette WIf there was less of a star, I would've rated it. I arrived at the location to find myself with someone with their feet up, looking at the phone and not being able to help me. I was told they were no trucks. I went on the website there were plenty of trucks …he was just too lazy to get up and provide me with the service. When I made my reservation online and went back to the establishment, he was quite surprised, and the attitude that followed was very uncomfortable. But I really needed the truck. I don't recommend this establishment but I also am writing this review so that the company can you take action this kind of customer service gives the company a horrible image.
