First, the employee renting the trucks was rude. Stayed on a phone call the entire time. He asked me for an alternate number to verify who I am. I have a state issued ID, what more proof do you need to prove I am Me? Second, he never went over anything on the truck, just handed me keys and said you're set. When I inspected the truck there was all kinds of small damage. I went back inside and told the guy that, he said all damage is noted by a sticker with an X on it. Not all of it did so I took a video. Lastly, when I got in the truck I very very grossed out. It smelled horrible. The seat was very sticky. The steering wheel was sticky. I needed a truck desperate so I left. When I got home I wiped down the seat and sterring wheel with a clorox wipe. By the time I was done, the wipe was black. These people do not clean the inside of their trucks. Like damn, I not expecting a flawless truck, but basic stuff like cleaning is a must. I have a pic of the cup holders and can't believe it looked the way it did. I need another truck rental, and it's almost impossible not to use uhaul, but I'll never use or recommend this location to anyone. They're more concerned selling alcohol and tobacco products than renting a truck.

This location was a bodega style place in a weird neighborhood and the only person there was the guy at the cash register. He was not helpful and there was no space to park the uhaul with the trailer.
Estefania S.The location was hard to find. The guy inside did not speak English, had to call someone to translate. The truck has a funny smell in the back. And the tire had a blow out on the highway with my kids inside. Very unsafe and they should of never rented that truck.

I felt that I'd be charged even for a spec of dirt on the equipment so added protection plan after meeting with the location rep. I won't be surprised if the rep will note unrealistic issues just to pocket the money as the U-Haul pickup was filthy for being brand new.

Dennis F.Ensure that people can upload images to the site when asked. The pictures sent to me were of a brand new truck, and would not let me upload updated images. Also, if the online site says that you could get the super insurance, and someone opts in for it, then it should be offered at the location. This should be reflected online for the specific locations.
