The truck cab had an odd smell to it at pick-up; I was later told I smelled strongly of gas fumes after driving for 4 hours. An air vent was broken and the hood came released at some point during the drive. Fortunately, the safety latch held.Shelly W.

The only negative comment I have is that they want a minimum of 2 contacts that they call to ensure you will return ther equipment rented. I have never had this request with anything I have ever rented.Eric S.
My initial reservation changed at the last minute d/t lack of vehicles, so I was redirected to this location. There was quite a lot of unnecessary confusion about my situation/reservation that could have been avoided if the lady behind the desk just asked questions (eg â€œare you picking up or dropping offâ€) vs making/asserting assumptions about why customers are there. My rental took much longer, was generally confusing, took quite awhile, and was ultimately successful.JACQUELINE W.
The second telephone number for a person is ridiculous. They had to call someone I know in order to allow the rental. I've been renting from uhaul for a long time. This was an unnecessary step for a repeat renter.Brian O.

Make sure that the gas tank refill estimate is correct on the contract. It probably had something to do with this being a new truck, but there was no information at all about how much gas I should put it to return the gauge to where it was when I picked up the truck.bryan F.

The staff was perfect. The equipment was ready to go though it was a very old trailer. Unknown to staff would be the trailer leaks at the top right corner in rain. (made a mess out of boxes and contents that were in the corner) It appeared uhaul tried an inside repair with caulk that didn't work.Dave S.
The problem with this location has nothing to do with the place itself. As I was doing a Saturday pick-up while place was closed it has to do with working on app & poor cell service to do so. Also was on unable to contact by phone for 45 minutes waiting for someone to answer.Diana B.
I'm a 53 year old business owner who rented a truck with an Amex card. The person at the location insisted on calling a family member or friend before he would let me pick up the truck. He called my sister. Really? Had he not been able to reach her he wanted to call someone else. This was rude and unnecessary. I rented the truck to move some items from one business location to another locally. Calling a total stranger to him when he has my license and credit card in front of him is nothing but an intentional outward rude action meant to be insulting. I have a perfect driving record and have never not paid a bill. Maybe it was because I'm a woman, I don't know. Dr. Saleno who made a trip up from the Madison area taking a day off work was affected by the way this person treated me. You're in the truck rental business and I'm far too old to have to have my sister or anyone else vouch for me to rent a truck. Dr. Saleno thanked George for being so nice to us in hopes he would realize what he did was not lost on us. My parents and grandparents have been dead for over 30 years. I didn't realize I had to walk around with phone numbers of people for the uhaul guy to call. I'm not happy. He also told us to sweep it out and fold the pads. I was his customer not his employee. Had I not guaranteed and needed that truck I'd have walked out. Over the years I've spent a lot of money with uhaul for moving things for my businesses. I won't make that mistake again.Melisa M.

It took WAY WAY WAY too long to rent a truck for three hours in town. I've rented UHaul many times and never had to answer so many questions and supply phone numbers of other people. She said it wasn't their fault but UHaul's for making them have to fill in the forms but I've never had anything like this slow and intrusive and insulting of an experience renting before. Also the truck itself got stuck in less than an inch of snow twice!!!! I've never driven a vehicle in my life with as poor performance in the snow. We had to shovel it out from just trying to drive across a driveway.Morgan B.
Please put amber lights on the front of fenders on all toll dollies. Can't see them in the dark nor can on coming vehicles see the trailer.Bob C.

I needed a trailer last minute. I reserved a 6x12 online because that's all that was able to be guaranteed. When I got there though they had smaller ones, let me switch to the one I needed even though it was cheaper, helped me put it on my car, and went through everything with me. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes! Great service hands down!!DenÃ©e C.

This is the location that I wanted to drop off at, however, my contract listed Boulder Junction. It was frustrating that when I called the main UHaul number, and waited on hold for nearly 20 minutes that they could not change the drop off location and I had to call the regional number. How would I know that? The regional person was fantastic! Also, I was not happy I got charged for 40 extra miles due to the new drop off locationTimothy S.

The drop-off location is an RV park with an unpaved, potholed large lot. Hard to control that, I guess. Things did seem organized. No staff due to COVID, but the last time we dropped off there the staff were friendly and helpful.John S.
