Quick, easy and cool staff made it simple and personable. Bring a rain jacket when returning after hours though because the rain does come very randomly sometimes. Of course it came right when I was snapping the return pics for the vehicle. Overall, great service, good job guys.

Hal FMake sure that vehicles checked in by customers that information is correct and not assume it's correct to use for the next reservation.. I was charged additional mileage and fuel charges for incorrect information. I caught the error and it was reversed but it shouldn't have happened. And wouldn't have happened if the staff had verified the information.

Jim RIt seemed that the automatic pickup does not apply in this location, though it seemed to be available online. It wasn't a problem - I just went in and got everything at the counter.

Jim FIt was crazy getting rental. Gentlemen who reserved cargo van never finished the reservation so no van at pick up, then new reservation was made in another town when I walk to Grover Beach location, fixed reservation back in Grover, picked up van but not after dealing with lock that was put on wrong thankfully gal from Grover Beach showed up on Thanksgiving squatted down to be able to unlock box and get key. Sweet folks at Grover Beach it was just nuts when your done from cooking and making things

John BThe service gal that checked us into our rental was incredible - polite, courteous, and professional. We were overcharged a full day somehow and despite multiple to attempts to get it fixed and an adjusted invoice sent, we are still at a loss. Hopefully a call again today will prove beneficial. One service person called from his cell phone and was quite rude when it called it back for an updated invoice. He was a young kid and his customer service, professionalism, and poor public communication skills were so disheartening. Such a shame. We will likely go to True Value down the street for our next UHaul rental.

JERRY WWasn't my choice to return here, as other locations were already full. Mitchell was really nice and efficient. Got my trailer unhitched and had me on my way quickly. Navigating the lot wasn't easy. I had to park on the street (with the trailer) and speak to someone to find out where to pull the trailer to.

Joe LDid not provide equipment reserved and upon returning the truck, I was charged for the equipment I did not get. They made me drive back to get a refund but never apologized for their mistake. More training is certainly needed.

Didier AThe guys on site were great. My only concern was that we ordered moving blankets and none were available when we picked up the truck. It would have been great to get a heads up before 8am the day of moving that none were available. Uhaul let us add them to our order, and no one called, emailed, or texted us that none were available. Thus we had to scramble to find alternate arrangements. This seems to be a simple problem to fix, as if there is a shortage you can simple not present the option or send a quick message that none are available so we can make alternate plans before the day of.
Beau Hhave blankets available when requested in advanced. It was inconvenient to need it in Los Osos and have to go to Grover Beach to pick it up.

MARK TThis truck's check engine light came on during my rental. The truck had not been washed & had cobwebs on it. The employee, Mitchell, was going to rent it out to another customer knowing it has a check engine light on. Unacceptable business practices.

Jeffry JWell the "central" online U-haul ordering company messed up. I booked online and what I ordered wasn't available.... even though it said it was... they transfered myorder to another city. No one from central U-haul did not contact me about switching my truck rental to another city 20 miles south. (They also messed up on the people who were moving out of my new appartment and they had top drive serval hours to get a rental truck)...The Grover Tool and Rental company did not have the truck needed, however they had a larger truck which I opted to rent as I had to move stuff that day and it wasn't an option to change days. No discount was given and then I had to pay more per mile for the larger truck. On top of that I was a bit floored that a person from Grover Tool and Rental called me BEFORE my return time to ask me when I was bring it back. Not after or even on-time but BEFORE!!! I didn't even know there was a backup camera ... because it didn't work until I was turning it in.... becuase it only worked at the end. So Yeah, I understand "central" u-haul messed up with scheduling... but come on people, don't rub salt in the wound and call a person early to inquire about when they were bring it back.

pam cUhaul needs to improve their technology. The dealer was awesome and patient with the system as it made me resubmit my license info.

Daniel YThe passenger mirror was broken and taped together with painter's tape. They didn't mention it when we picked up the truck. Come to find out the tape broke immediately, and it was very unsafe to drive the truck.
