First day I rented a truck for a move and let me stranded in the middle of the road 3 times until somebody had to tow me to the place (ez missions) I lost my entire day and my money because they don’t want to give me a refund

Ameda WMy experience was great even though I paid for overnight pick up and had to wait until the following morning to receive my rental. The employee was very apologetic and even disclosed me not being able to gain access overnight to receive my rental, to his field training manager Gene Workman. Mr workman called and I explained To him what occurred and he assured me he would do everything he could to make it right. Mr Workman was able to provide me with a $150.00 credit which is greatly appreciated and unexpected. In our society today the way we treat each other goes a long way and this situation was frustrating to deal with be a greatly appreciate how the situation was handled. Please give the initial employee name unknown and Mr Gene Workman deserves sometime of incentive as in appreciation from U Haul for the way the situation was handled.

Michelle CI rented my uhaul from this location yesterday. Pick up was pretty simple. Drop off was a nightmare. The location closes at 5pm. Arrived at 4:45pm to drop off my rental. The attendant was no where to be found. Finally saw him around 4:55….he refused to take the return and said I would not get a receipt till the next day because they were closing. He would not give me the keys back to self return it. Verbally assaulted me and said he would kick my ass. Do better next time. Do your job!
ricardo cOnly issue was after hours drop off. I got there when they should have still been open but they were closed. Then my phone died before I could complete the return properly so I had to incur fees for not doing it right. Would have been nice if they stuck to their hours

Tonya BThe young man who was working the counter at 11:00AM on Saturday 02/24/24 was amazing! He had a logistical nightmare on his hands as several trucks had not been returned on time by other customers and it was affecting, not just myself, but other customers that were there before I arrived. He was calm, took responsibility for what was going on, personable, and still had a friendly and professional disposition. He figured everything out and we all drove away in trucks. I am remiss I cannot remember his name but he was great and, were it not for his determination to sort out the problem (one which was not his fault but was his responsibility), I would not have gotten a truck or my day would have been seriously delayed due to what happened. I have rented from this particular U-Haul before and my last experience before this one was not so good from a customer service standpoint. This was a 180 degree improvement all because of this one young man. I was reluctant to return to this store because of my previous experience, but am glad I gave it one more chance. I only came back because of the stores proximity to where I lived, but now I'll return if I have a future need because I had a great experience with a really nice, professional person. I hope he gets a pat on the back and I thank him for handling things so I could get on the road as fast as possible.

Cory HHere's a refined version of your U-Haul review: The equipment provided was very old, with 180,000 miles on it, resulting in a horrible ride and leaks in the container. Despite the availability of newer Ford 26ft trucks, we were given a dated GMC. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
AMAL IMy charge was only like $39 but they charged my card for $114 which the $75 has not been refunded to my card yet
Jonterrius BCorey was helpful but the other guy working with him should be terminated immediately. He is loud, obnoxious and didn’t want to do anything. Thankfully Corey was able to handle everything for me.
