It is not the exact location. The Exxon is where you register but the truck is in a different location, Once you figure this out is very easy.Keith W.

The cab of the van looked like it had never been cleaned. The interior windshield was so dirty that it was nearly impossible to see out of the van driving at night. I had to pull over at a gas station in order to clean the interior windows and mirrors. I believe I returned the van cleaner than I when I got it.Michael C.
What a horrible experience with Uhaul. First thing wrong with this whole thing was the fact that I rented it from a location that was a few blocks from my house and I saw this on the initial confirmation the day I made the reservation and they changed locations without telling me. Then the place they had us pick up from didnt have proper instruction on how to retrieve the keys for the truck. After finally speaking with uhaul 3 times we finally got the keys and hour after our initial rental time. The final straw was them charging us for the truck twice with no explanation and when calling they make it incredibly hard to get that money returned. I will never recommend or use uhaul again ever. They lost a customer and anyone in my life who would potentially be a customer.Kevin M.

This location is frustrating as (1) it is not the actual location, once you check-in for the vehicle you are directed to walk about 6 blocks to another location which is frustrating and (2) when I reserved the vehicle it did not come with the equipment I had also reserved. Other than that standard U-Haul rental, this one just didn't make it easy.Richard S.

He had to go to two locations to rent the truck and pick it up completely unacceptable. The truck was old the suspension was poor and the person who was there before me was clearly smoking in the truck. There were ashes on the steering column and it stunk.Paul Z.
Your mobile pickup is horrific. Without hyperbole, I had the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider. Thankfully the people at the location were extremely helpful, which I can say with absolute certainty that your online assistance was not. I will not use U-Haul again for this reason.Roger G.

Pick up was great out of Glen Rock, but the trailer had no rear light or directional on the right side, nor running lights. We were traveling a distance so called U-haul. Had to take the trailer to Route 46 in Saddle Brook to get it fixed. Sat in u-haul parking lot for 3-4 hours in 96 degree temperatures while they fixed the lights/ directionals/running lights Had to rewire a significant part of the trailer to get them to work. everything was fixed and working when we left. While traveling we hit some rain about 16 hrs into our trip (all equipment worked well until then), at that point the running lights stopped working. Therefore we had to stop traveling earlier than anticipated that day because we had no running lights. The next day we hit rain again so we had to stop again and stay overnight a second night because without running lights you could not tow in the rain as people could not see the trailer. Thus we spent another night cost at a hotel and food. Expected more from U-Haul as they advertise travel across the states. They extended the use by one day since we lost Monday sitting in Saddle Brook, but that did not account for the other problems and expenses we encountered due to inoperational equipment from U-Haul.DAVID D.
The location listed is not where the trucks are. When you go to pick them up they give you a map that's a few blocks away. Picking up and returning require the mobile app which checks you're gps location. If you go to the lot with the trucks, it won't let you finish picking up or returning the trucks because you're at the wrong location. This was a terrible experience, I drove back and forth between where the trucks are and the "correct location" about 6 or 7 times. Pick up and drop off took well over 40 minutes. Would use Uhaul again but not this locationMichael E.

I'd like to know the status of my claim. I had rent a 10'Â´truck in Fair Lawn. When I arrived, it took more than 30min to realize they didn't have the truck. They weren't able to solve my problem and had to call myself uhaul. They sent me to glenrock but no 10â€ truck were available so they gave me a 15â€ truck (which I didn't need). The woman on the phone was very rude and not really willing to acknowledge their mistake nor provide any sort of benefit. I had to call a second time to inquire about the extra miles I was going to pay because of this. She told me to call back once I had the truck. Once I returned the truck, I called again and the person on the phone replied they couldn't give any compensation as I already had a 15â€ truck for the price of a 10â€ truck. And no refund of the extra miles. And no refund of me having to take a full day off instead of a half day because of their mistake. This is unacceptable service client. Somebody is now â€œsupposedâ€ to call me in 24hrs as they â€œsupposedlyâ€ couldn't help me. All this happened yesterday April 19th. Does Uhaul policy is about robbing people?Jeremie P.

The original 24/7 location I was at (Wyckoff Car Wash) didn't have the key, so I had to wait for 30+ minutes on the phone for someone from U-Haul to redirect me to this gas station. Once I arrived, I quickly realized the van wasn't there. The guy at the gas station told me where the lot was, but when I got to the lot, I had to go BACK to the gas station because it said my GPS location was wrong. I don't see why the GPS location isn't based on where the vehicles actually are, but that was extremely frustrating. Same thing happened when I went to drop off the van; I had to drive back to the station, take pictures of everything and then drive BACK to the lot, which actually increased the odometer by one mile over what was in my picture. I see how the neighborhood locations with 24/7 option is a good idea on paper, but with the experience I had, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In my opinion, U-Haul needs to take steps to increase quality control for the neighborhood locations. I understand that is difficult because these are just local businesses, but the standards need to be raised. If it were me, I wouldn't want to put my name/brand on this inefficient system.Noah T.

Online experience was horrible. Half the time it did not work. I needed to repeatedly put in the same information that I had previously put in. When returning the truck we could not get the return to go through. We thought it went through but good thing I called because it didn't.Gretchen P.
My experience with Uhaul was fine however my experience with the movers I paid for through Uhaul was AWFUL his name was Alex and he was late rude obnoxious and wouldn't complete the job unless I paid him another hour. The truck was fine, but the online booking experience was awful. I was told that I would receive a call from a representative a day in advance to confirm the truck and provide instructions on how to access it. I never recieved a call. When arriving at the gas station, I had to call someone and they told me something about an additional contract that I had never received. I then had to wait about a half hour in the parking lot for the support team to verify me before I could get the key. I also never saw any instructions on how to calculate the gas mileage when returning the truck, which I was told would be in the contract. The automation process here could be improved a lot through facial recognition software and improved automation rules.JASON B.

I went to go pick it up at an Exxon station and the attendant gave me directions to a sketchy location that was way behind some house, I had to use their driveway to find the lot, didn't enjoy that at allPATRICK C.

I did not expect to be going to a gas station and then to a parking lot ; the woman working was very helpful - she did a great job - but it was all a little strange ...so I've should have given me an idea of what to expect- the vehicle was insanely loud ajd it didn't sound great ... and an engine light went on which made me nervous ..LAURA D.
